“Daehyun ssi, are you done?” Sora asked, hanging her scarf over her shoulders.

She was waiting for Daehyun to go home together.

“Sora ssi…I just received a call from my old classmates and they want to meet so…I won’t be going home yet.” Daehyun lied.

“Old classmates? Didn’t you say you didn’t really have any friends in high school?”

“Yeahh…it’s just a social gathering…I won’t stay long.”

“All right….I’ll see you at home then.” Sora told Daehyun as she left the kitchen.

She found Daehyun’s actions really suspicious after meeting the girl who asked to see him…but who was she to in anyway.

Yujin moved her cane around as she walked towards the hotel entrance, she was curious as to what Daehyun looked like….after losing her sight she couldn’t really enjoy the beauty of admiring people’s features anymore.

Daehyun took a deep breath as he walked towards where Yujin was standing, it felt like his first date with Yujin all over again.

Yujin turned around slowly as she heard Daehyun’s footsteps walking her way.

“You’re here..” She smiled.

“Did you wait long?” Daehyun asked.

“No…I just got here…” Yujin replied.

“Come with me…” Daehyun said, slowly taking Yujin’s hand and leading her towards the kitchen.

“Where are we going? Aren’t we going to the café nearby?” Yujin asked.

“Actually…I kinda haven’t got my pay yet…because I’m still under probation…so I thought you might want to have coffee here…if you don’t mind..” Daehyun chuckled nervously as he led Yujin to sit on one of the chairs.

Yujin laughed.

“You’re funny…”

“Does your boyfriend….know you’re here?” Daehyun asked, turning on the coffee machine.

“No…actually…I came to see you without his permission.” Yujin replied.

“There’ll be a baking competition here at the hotel soon….this is the submission me and my partner made..” Daehyun said, placing a piece of rose cake in front of Yujin.

“We took a lot of time to perfect it…you’re the first person to actually try it..other than me and my partner…and her family.” Daehyun explained.

“Wah…I feel honored..” Yujin smiled, picking up the fork.

“It’s only necessary…since we weren’t able to go somewhere nicer…”

Yujin’s tastebuds danced as she placed the cake in , it was different from the other cakes she tasted from the hotel patisserie….this one…had the thing that she felt was missing from the other cakes she tried.

“How is it?” Daehyun asked curiously, looking at the expression on Yujin’s face.

“It’s….special…” Yujin replied.

“Using flowers to make cake…where did you get this idea from?”

Daehyun sat down on the chair opposite Yujin.

“It was my girlfriend….she used to love flowers so much…but she loved sweet stuff too, I can bake so one day she asked me to bake this cake for her.”

“It was her idea…the roses and everything…well…she didn’t get to taste it in the end.”

Yujin could sense the sadness in Daehyun’s voice.

“Your girlfriend….was she the one you were talking about? Yujin?”

“That’s right…” Daehyun replied, looking up at her.

“What happened to her?”

“She…died in a car accident..” Daehyun replied, watching Yujin’s face for any signs that she might recall something.

“I’m sorry…” Yujin apologized.

“You….look exactly like her…”

“But you’re not….are you?”

Yujin didn’t know what to say for she herself didn’t even know…who she really was.

“She won’t be disappointed….the cake is delicious.” Yujin changed the topic.

“May I ask….how did you lose your sight?”

“A car accident….it was in America…Oppa said I was riding a bicycle when a car came speeding from the blind spot and knocked me over…”

“Oppa….you mean your boyfriend..?”

“Yes..”

“It looks like….your girlfriend and I have a lot in common..”

“Do you…live i
