“As you can see the last owner left the interior in perfect condition..you don’t need to change the tiles or repaint the walls…” The landlord told Daehyun as he showed him around the empty shop unit.

Daehyun nodded as he examined the walls and the lighting, he didn’t have enough money to renovate the shop so it was a plus that he didn’t have to do anything to the interior.

“Also...it’s a walking distance from Myeongdong and there isn’t any cafes nearby for a few miles…business would probably be good for you.” The landlord continued.

“Well…I’m really interested to get this unit but…the price we negotiated is a little steep for such a small shop…” Daehyun tried to bagain with the landlord.

The landlord shook his head as he rubbed his chin.

“The price we negotiated is already the best price…how bout this…the previous owner left some furniture behind…some tables and chairs and stuff…they’re still brand new with the plastic covers and everything….it’ll be good for your café…I’ll throw those in…what do you think?” The landlord suggested.

“Sound good…” Daehyun nodded, he wouldn’t have to spend money on furniture then.

“Great, bring the check to my office tomorrow and you can have the place to yourself immediately.” The landlord shook Daehyun’s hand.

“I won’t be late.” Daehyun replied as he took a last look at the shop and walked outside.

As Daehyun stepped outside, he saw Sora’s Dad’s pickup truck suddenly pull up by the sidewalk in front of him.

Daehyun widened his eyes as he saw Sora get out from the driver’s seat and Youngjae from the passenger seat.

“Sora ssi….Park Sunbaenim…” Daehyun mumbled as they walked towards him.

“Daehyun ssi!” Sora waved, smiling at him.

“What are you guys doing here? Don’t you have to work at the hotel today?” Daehyun asked, still shocked to see them.

“Eeehhhh…Daehyun ssi…we just got here and you’re chasing us away already?” Youngjae grinned.

“Daehyun ssi, Sunbaenim and I have decided to come and help you!” Sora replied.

“How is it? Did you get the shop already..? When can we start work?” Sora asked, looking over Daehyun’s shoulder.

“You guys…want to help me?” Daehyun asked, still in disbelief.

“Wait…I don’t have any money to hire anyone…” Daehyun said, raising his hand out in front of him.

“We’re not here to be your employees! We’re here to work with you…be your partners…we’ll contribute for the price of the shop and everything…then the profits we made will be split among the three of us…what do you think?” Sora asked excitedly as Youngjae nodded his head.

“Well…I….” Daehyun started, still at a lost for words.

“Okaaayyy!! It’s settled then!” Youngjae cut him off, patting Daehyun on his shoulder.

“I’ll go take a look at the shop…” He smiled, walking inside.

Daehyun and Sora stood outside, Sora was still smiling at Daehyun.

“You quit your job at the hotel??” Daehyun finally asked.

“Mmmm…” Sora nodded.

“Actually…it was Sunbaenim’s idea…I told him that you were gonna open a café and then he said he was tired of his job at the hotel and suggested we go help you.” Sora explained.

Daehyun laughed.

“Gomawo…Sora ssi…” He smiled, ruffling her hair…something he hadn’t done in a long time.

“Don’t thank me yet! You better make sure the café is a success…I don't want to have my investment go to waste.” Sora teased.

“Arasso..” Daehyun smiled as they walked inside the shop together.

Myungsoo and Yujin were having breakfast in the garden, the table was spread with French pastries and the helper was pouring tea into Yujin’s cup.

Yujin smiled as she looked at the food in front of her, she finally didn’t need Myungsoo to tell her where all her food was placed anymore..and she could admire the beauty of the delicate pastries.

Yujin grabbed a strawberry fruit tart and took a bite out of it…but all she could think about was how much nicer the pastries Daehyun made for her were.

“Is the food to your liking?” Myungsoo asked, drinking his coffee.

“Mmm…they’re nice..” Yujin nodded, forcing a smile.

Myungsoo smiled as was about to say something when his phone rang.

There was a frown on Myungsoo’s face as he saw who was calling….it was Soyeon…why was she even calling?? When he had gave her the car already.

“Who is it?” Yujin asked, raising her eyebrows after seeing Myungsoo’s troubled look.

“Oh…it’s abuji…” Myungsoo said, wiping the frown away from his face.

“Give me a minute.” He smiled, quickly standing up from his seat and walking away from the table to answer the phone.

Yujin slowly got up from her seat and decided to take a walk in the garden, she could now see all the different colors of the flowers and the butterflies fluttering from flower to flower.

“Yah! Why are you calling me!? I’ve already done my part of the deal…must you keep pestering me?!” Myungsoo shouted over the phone.

“Oppa! You have to help me…I’m in some kind of trouble…” Soyeon whined, it was night time in Seoul now and she was standing beside her car (the one that Myungsoo gave her) which had crashed into another car.

“Who are you calling Oppa!? Since when were we that close….you better know your place.” Myungsoo replied, turning his head behind to make sure Yujin wasn’t hearing this.

“Oppa…I crashed the car into someone else’s car…and he’s now demanding me to pay compensation or he’ll report me…ottokae?? I don’t have the kind of money he’s asking…” Soyeon continued.
