Grocery shopping

Never stopped loving you

Sojin POV

It's been a while since that day at the amusement park and I can say that I've grown even closer to all the members. With Dongwoo being an exception. As much as I would have wanted to know much more about him we haven't had the chance to talk as much as I wanted to. Just when we're about to start a conversation I would always be called to help separate the boys in one of their childish fights, or be summoned to prepare dinner since I've been labelled their personal chef because no one can stand Woohyun's cooking.

Since that day that I talked with Sunggyu, I would say that I've taken a knew leash on life. I started to open up a lot more to the boys, so they now know about my family. However it doesn't bother them and they don't pity me, it's just something that lingers in the back of their mind and for that I am thankful for. Now I find going to school an enjoyment and not a chore. I started to talk more to my classmates and now have a few friends here and there, but they are still nothing compared to those idiots. Min and I still hate each other to the bone but I'm not overly fussed, its not like it's a big loss.

Infinite are happy that I'm socializing more but they tend to get really possessive. Every time I try to talk with a classmate one of them would be there causing my friend to start squealing before quickly running off to her group to tell them about how they came face to face with a kingka. The boys claim that they merely want to hang out with me, but I can see the concern in their eyes, I find it cute how they are worried that I will get hurt. But at times I wish they'd take twos steps back and maybe another two and just give me some space. But they're still my dorks and I admit I do enjoy their company more than anyone else.

We would always play games together and I can still remember the time we played truth or dare. They would give such horrific dares, which includes: kissing the nearest member, drinking a cup of vinegar, dressing up in my clothes and even brushing another persons teeth. It was really funny until it landed on me and I picked truth, afraid of being dared to do something outrageous. They all gave each other a devious look which made me immediately regret my decision. They went and asked me the famous question of 'who do you like?' And me not wanting to start any drama quickly pointed to the small eyed leader that was sitting next to me causing the room to erupt with laughter. Honestly I don't know what to do without them.

This morning however, I woke up to something unusual. Instead of them bursting in my room and jumping on my bed to wake me up before my alarm goes off, today I was woken up by the lovely vocals of SHINee in their song replay. I turned off my alarm and got up out of bed. I tied my hair into a messy bun and threw on a white baggy shirt with denim shorts. Satisfied with my look I walked out of my room but was met with the silent hallway. I glanced at my watch, 8:30 they're normally alive and kicking by now. Taking advantage of the peaceful atmosphere I continued on with my day making myself a coffee on the way to the lounge room.

Thinking that for once I could watch one of my dramas without them changing the channel deeming that dramas are too cheesy and far fetched, I happily pranced into the living room  but the smile on my face started to fade as I stared at the scene in front of me. Instead of the house being empty like what I thought, I found the group of rowdy boys draped over each other on the couch. My hopes of finally having a quiet day was shattered as I continued to stare at them with wide eyes. They were dead looking compared to normal, and I couldn't help but feel as though they were planning something.

My eyes trailed to the floor blow all three couches and I let out a small gasp causing all heads to dart in my direction. "What happened?" I asked as I pointed to the floor covered with snacks and bottles. "It wasn't like that when I went to bed last night" I fumed horrified not because of the crumbs and rubbish but because they were able to eat the whole pantry in less then a couple of hours. It wasn't even 9 o'clock yet. "We got bored and the most entertaining thing to do was stuff our faces..." Sungyeol drowsily said. My eyes narrowed as I shook with anger "I just cleaned yesterday and those snacks were supposed to last us until the end of the week!" I shrieked causing them to cower in fear.

"Clean this up!" I yelled annoyed at their lack of cleanliness. They glanced at me but stayed in their positions. I was about to pull them off the couch when I noticed how there was only 6 of them and not 7. I stepped over all the empty packets of chips to Sunggyu, who seemed to be the only normal one to talk to "Yah! Where's Dongwoo Oppa?" I poked him. His eyes shot open "That reminds me, Sojinnie can you wake him up" he said before snuggling back into Woohyun's chest.

I rolled my eyes "This better be cleaned up by the time I get back!" I hissed before leaving to walk back down the hall. I stopped in front of the white door with the letter D printed on the front.  I lifted up my hand and softly knocked "Oppa~ time to wake up!" I called my voice coated in sweetness despite what happened before. I cringed at how fake I sounded but kept up the act since Dongwoo doesn't like being rudely awoken.

I waited a couple of minutes before knocking again. "If you don't wake up, then it leaves me no choice but to come in and force you out of bed..." When there was no reply I opened the door my eyes tightly shut incase I see something I'm not supposed to see. Presuming it was safe to open my eyes I did so, only to find a bed with no extremely good looking guy sleeping in it. Before I could exit the room I heard the bathroom door unlock with Dongwoo walking out of it, towel in one hand while drying his perfect brown hair.

"Good morning~" he chirped not minding me standing in the middle of his room. It took a lot of effort not to drool over his chocolate abs -that seemed to be steaming due to the heat of the shower- which only added to the hotness of this guy. It was only when he pulled a singlet over his head that I snapped out of my trance and reminded myself why I was here. "Oh S-Sunggyu Oppa t-told me to wake you up..." I couldn't help but stutter after that y entrance. I know this sounds cliché but boy it got hot in here after he walked in the room.

I quickly averted my gaze from his body to the layout of his room which I failed to acknowledge until now. Unlike the other boy's rooms, his was surprisingly tidy and organized. Picture frames were evenly spread out across the wall, his bed was neatly made with pillows arranged in the center. His books were positioned according to alphabetical order and were placed on his desk next to his computer. The room was simple but beautifully decorated with shelves of different character plushies sitting on them.

My eyes darted to every small detail in the room until it landed on a medium sized box in the corner. Curiosity got the best of me and I just had to examine it more closely. It was neglected in the corner of the room and looked out of place compared to the rest of the room. Sure it was a simple brown box and it went with the simplicity of the rest of the furniture. But it was a mere cardboard box that obviously didn't have much importance for it to be tossed aside like that.

"Oppa, what's this?" I asked pointing to it. He stopped drying his hair and turned to me before continuing what he was doing. "Oh that, it's the debts I have to pay for my whole life ." He casually replied earning a gasp from me. "Why didn't you tell me I would have helped you!" I fussed as I stared at the now rather large box. My eyes widened in realization. Does that mean that he borrowed from Loan Sharks?

I shook my head clearing my mind of the crude images of Dongwoo being beaten up by gangs because of a late payment. No, it can't be. He isn't the type of person to do something like that. Besides his parents are business people, surely they would lend him some money. Would they? Are they even business people? Could he have lied to me because he didn't want me to pity him. Was everything a lie? All the promises he made to be there for me...did he mean them?

"I know I'm hot and all but could you please stop staring I'm getting uncomfortable." He teased settling himself down in his bed so he can put on his matching Pokémon socks. "Do you mind telling me what you mean by the debts I to pay for my whole life?" I asked taking a seat beside him. "Oh that, well I kept record of all the things my parents have done and bought for me. And one day I'm going to repay them." He thoughtfully said straightening one of the frames above his bed.

I felt my heart melt at his response. He is really thoughtful and kind, his parents must be proud. A smile spread across my lips, happy that it wasn't anything bad like what I had imagined. I traced my finger across the photo that was next me and instantly giggled at the faces of all the boys when they were younger. They were standing next to a snowman with their parents behind them. All of them were pulling silly faces at each other while their parents were trying to get them to face the camera.

"We made it a tradition that every Christmas we would spend at the snow together as a family. We would always build a snowman in that exact spot but it would always end in a snowball fight." he explained laughing at the memory. I nodded and kept looking at the different photos. "Is that your sister?" I asked pointing to a photo with him and two other girls. "Yep! Both of them" I studied the photo closely and noticed the resemblance the three of them shared. "They're pretty, I want to meet them one day." I said as I continue to stare at the picture.

My eyes wondered down to the clock sitting on his table and my eyes widened "Oh, I think we should go down before they ruin the kitchen as well as the lounge room." I said as I remembered the reason as to why I went up here. I stood up from the bed and walked towards the door "I'll be there in a minute" he yelled and walked back over to his table.

I proceeded back to where the group was only to find the room in a bigger mess then before. "WHAT IS THIS?!?" I screamed. They all immediately stopped in their tracks and dropped the cushions that they were using to have a pillow fight. "We can explain!" Woohyun declared before pointing to Sungyeol. "He hit me first!" He whined taking cover behind a disapproving Sunggyu.

"Cut the crap Woohyun. You know as well as I do that you were the one who started it." Sungyeol retorted sticking his tongue out at the latter. "This wouldn't have happened if you didn't steal that chip off me" Woohyun cried stepping towards the choding.

"Sharing is caring-"

"YAH!" I cut Sungyeol off. "What's going on here?" Dongwoo asked appearing behind me. His jaw dropped at the state if the room but quickly covered his shock with a smile. And before I knew it the whole room erupted in laughter. "Yah! What's the meaning of this?" I asked in disbelief. "Sorry, but Dongwoo's laugh is contagious HAHA" Hoya chuckled clutching onto his stomach. I found myself start to giggle as I looked at all of their faces and the positions they were in. "Ok ok, guys we should clean this up now." Sunggyu said ruining the moment. Groans of protest filled the room but everyone obliged and started picking up the rubbish.

After a while they finished cleaning and resumed their lifeless positions on the couch. "Where have my hyper monkeys gone?" I asked squeezing in beside Sungjong who wrapped his arms tightly around my waist. "Everything just suddenly got really boring" Myungsoo stated as he hugged the bamboo pillow I bought him. I pondered for a moment before an idea suddenly came into mind "Why don't we go and do the groceries and replace what you guys ate" I suggested. Their eyes immediately sparkled at the idea "Oh, and you guys can pay." I added, giggling.

When everyone was ready we set off to the shops. The sunlight acted as a drug to the boys as they returned to their lively selves. I was kind of happy that they finally broke free of their dead state and were able to enjoy themselves. However that feeling washed away as we continued to get many questioning stares as we walked down the street. "You guys can't attract anymore attention can you?" I asked as I bowed my head in embarrassment at the judge mental stares I was receiving.

"Face it honey, you enjoy being around me." "Shut up Woohyun, no one appreciates your worthless comments." Sungyeol snapped causing the greasy boy to draw back his arm that was making its way up to my shoulders. "Aww... Cheer up Hyunnie." I cooed. His expression brightened but before he could say anything we arrived at the store. "Ok why don't we split into teams. A vegetable and fruit team, meat and dairy team, and a snacks and other necessary items team." Sunggyu said "Who wants to be with wh-" before he could even finish his statement everyone had already rushed passed him and grabbed my arm.

"Sojin's coming with me!"
"Why would she want to be with someone like you? She's coming with me!"
"Sojin likes me"
"No she likes me more."
"No Sojin Noona likes me the best!"

"Seriously you guys-" Before I could even finish my sentence Hoya cut in.

"Lets settle this like men." He declared. My eyes widened as I stared at the 7 who were cracking their knuckles. "KAI. BAI. BO! (Rock. Paper. Scissors)" they shouted throwing their hands in the middle. I face palmed at their childishness but watched amusingly.

In the end Dongwoo, the choding, and Sunggyu were buying the vegetables. Sungjong and Hoya were buying the snacks while Myungsoo, Woohyun and I were buying the meat.

"Lets go!" I said grabbing a trolley as the other two ran in front of me.

No One's POV

"So Dongwoo Hyung, when are you going to pop the question?" Sungyeol asked poking the older boy. Dongwoo looked at him then back at the list he was holding "I don't know what you're talking about." He calmly replied as he pushed the trolley down the isle which had all the fresh produce. Sunggyu turned his head towards the pair with an amused look on his face. "Don't act dumb with us. You know what we're talking about." Dongwoo sighed  before checking to make sure there wasn't anyone lingering around.
"I don't know." He huffed. The other two exchanged knowing looks before continuing to pester the him.

"So we just need cheese, milk, butter and meat." Sojin said tucking the list into her pocket. "I don't understand." Woohyun complained pulling the trolley to a stop. "Well it's pretty simple you just find the product and put it in the cart. Simple as that." Myungsoo remarked as though it was the most obvious thing in the world. The older boy narrowed his eyes at him "I'm not stupid. And I was talking to my Sojinnie." He replied bluntly turning to her. "I don't understand." He said his face looking much calmer than before. "What don't you understand?" Sojin asked picking up a block of cheese.
"Girls." She looked at him with a confused look. Surely this was a joke. The boy who has the most experience with girls then any of the boys, did not just say that. "I don't understand their feelings. If it's obvious a girl likes someone, why don't they do anything?" He asked, his eyes staring into her dark brown orbs. "Well maybe you're just reading the signs wrong. But if you're 100% sure, then they probably have a valid reason."

"So Hyung, what made you fall in love with her?" Sungyeol grinned leaning in closer, keen to get an answer out of him. Dongwoo thought for a second before responding to the choding's question "Honestly I don't know. I don't think it matters, as long as the heart is set I don't believe that anything else matters. Looks? Even if she didn't look as beautiful as she is, I would still love her the same." Sunggyu patted his back smiling "Who knew Dongwoo had this serious side to him."

Myungsoo glanced at Sojin and a smirk started to form on his lips. "Noona, do you like someone?" He asked knowing this would spark an interesting conversation. She immediately went red as Dongwoo's face flashed in her face. "W-What do you mean?" "You know what we mean. A princess like you should always have a prince. So...who is it?" She rolled her eyes "Geez Woohyun you're more cheesier then this block of cheese." She pointed to the dairy product sitting on the shelf beside the milk which she picked up. "Hey don't avoid the question." Myungsoo butted in before the greasy boy could protest against your words. Sojin looked at them and sighed "Well..."

"Dongwoo Hyung and Sojin sitting in a tree, K.I.S.S- hmph" Dongwoo clamped his hand over Sungyeol's mouth while trying to hide his scarlet cheeks. "Don't act like you've never thought about it. We know that you have fantasized about her soft pink lips." The small eyed leader chuckled finding it entertaining how Dongwoo would instantly deny things even though everyone is aware of his feelings. "Hyung I'm serious if you don't make a move then I'll do it for you. SOJIN-AH" He fake yelled as soon as he was released from his hyung's grasp. "If you guys don't shut up then I won't hesitate to kick your you-know-where."

"Seriously... Eunhyuk...We're talking about someone you know." Myungsoo sighed as he shook his head at Sojin who was sheepishly rubbing the back of her neck. Woohyun grabbed a block of butter and used it to hit Myungsoo. "Don't force her to tell you if she doesn't want to. But I'm sure she would tell her two best friends who shared every secret with her." He said with hopeful eyes. She cleared "Well...there is someone" she muttered avoiding their gaze. "Someone..." Myungsoo urged annoyed at how long she was taking. She shot them a mischievous look "But that's for me to know and you to find out!"

"Aish! What's taking them so long..." Sungjong whined as he waited with Hoya at the front of the store with a trolley full of food. Hoya glanced at his watch and puffed his cheeks "They said to meet here half an hour ago." He groaned annoyed at having to wait. Before Sungjong could reply they heard a series of shouts followed by an out of control trolley. They stood there wide eyed at the speeding cart before quickly moving out of the way before they could get run over. Unfortunately the trolley zoomed straight into pyramid of canned goods knocking it over.

"What the hell..." Hoya mumbled staring at the mess that was made. "YAH! We told you not to run!" An infuriated leader yelled stopping in front of the clutter. The maknae gulped at the red faced leader who now had eyes that were visible. Too visible that it sent shivers up his spine just looking at him and his unusually big eyes. Sungyeol's head popped up from underneath the debris with an nervous smile plastered on his lips. Not too soon after the other four came running with a shocked expression.
"What happened I heard a bang!" Myungsoo exclaimed but quickly shut his mouth after looking at the damage.

After apologizing to the store manager and cleaning up the mess, the group decided to quickly finish what they had to do before they could embarrass themselves any more.

"I said I'm sorry..." Sungyeol mumbled bowing his head to avoid the disapproving looks from the others. "You just can't help but cause a scene where ever you go." Woohyun sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. Sojin glanced at all the trolleys with a confused look on her face. "You guys, where's the vegetables and fruit?" She asked racking through the trolley in search for a bundle of green leaves. "All I see is snacks." The three boys shifted uncomfortably "Well you see, we did buy vegetables." Dongwoo innocently smiled. "See. There's Apple flavored Kit Kats, Strawberry flavored Biscuts, kimchi chips, oh and look they even have Sweet Potato crisps." Sungyeol explained picking up the different packets when it was called.

The other 5 face palmed shaking their head at their cheap excuses. Much to the boys disappointment they were told to return all the snacks and buy the actual produce.

"I just got a call from work, I have to go fill in right now. Sorry guys. See you when I get home." Sunggyu announced putting his phone back into his pocket. "Well I need to go and finish off an assignment at a friend's house. So I'll be going." Sojin pulled Woohyun back by the collar with an unamused look on her face. "Woohyun, I'm sorry to say this but I'm in your class and we don't have any assignments due." She plainly replied causing the other to flush red.

"Don't think I don't know what you guys are planning. You are going to pay for all the snacks you demolished." All their jaws dropped at her harsh tone but quickly pulled out their wallets afraid of witnessing another one of her angry outbursts. "That's better." She grinned triumphantly. "Now who's going to help me cook." Once she said that they all quickly made excuses and bolted out of her sight not wanting to contribute to the nights dinner. She let out a sigh and turned to the only person that stayed behind.

"Shall we go?" Dongwoo asked. She nodded picking up the last of the shopping bags before following him down the side walk.

Hello again >.<

Did you like the chapter?

Anyway the story of Dongwoo keeping receipts of ever thing his parents bought him is true. It was actually his mother who one day questioned the importance of the box and was going to throw it out. However Dongwoo refused telling her that the box held records of every thing his parents bought him and everything they have done for him and placed it in the box, vowing to one day pay them back. His mother cried hearing this...

Our Dongwoo is so sweet. T^T

So who can't wait for Destiny to come out? I know I can't. The teaser was so hot that I stared at the screen for 5 minutes trying to recover from their iness. (And then I the replay button ^^)
