"LEETEUK-OPPA!!"
     "Yah! Park Jung Soo!"   
      "See you around, Teukie-oppa..."  
     "Annyong, Teuk-Teukie-oppa!!"
     
      My memories of the times I've called his name the past, when everything was still happy and normal.....
     ...those memories are so far away now....
     I've called him for help so many times before....

    "Baelee! Baelee! We should get out of here!" Eeteuk yelled as he beckoned everyone towards the door. The girls' high pitches screaming
 complimented that of the alarm, and they all bolted as fast as they could out the door.
    "WAIT!" Jessica hollered suddenly. She started turning back. "The uniforms!"
    Taeyeon ran after her and grabbed her arm. "ARE YOU CRAZY?!" She gave Jessica a push towards the door. "Get GOING!" The room was 
quickly filling up thicker and thicker with smoke, and it was getting darker.
    Suddenly, Taeyeon tripped on the edge of a bench and fell down hard. Jessica was already way ahead and assumed that her unnie was still
 behind her. Taeyeon slowly got up, and found that she was completely surrounded by the smoke by now, and was starting to lose air. She started
 coughing and had no idea where to go.
    No, no! I can't lose now! she thought. It was getting harder and harder to breathe, and she fell onto her knees and grasped her chest.
    The next thing she did surprised her, because with the last amount of strength she had she screamed with the loudest voice she could:
    "LEETEUK OPPAAAAA!!!!"
     And then she collapsed.

“Teukie-oppa….” she whispered. Their lips were barely centimeters away.

At that moment, a horrible screeching sound burst out across the barren field and Taeyeon jumped away in horror. A sudden black shadow washed over her and wrapped her in its embrace and started carrying her away from Leeteuk. It flew higher and higher and faster and faster away from Leeteuk.

“LEETEUK OPPA!!!!” she yelled. She heard his voice calling her name and resonating in her mind, but she was useless in the clutches of the dark monster that was carrying her away. At that moment, her eyelids felt heavy and she slumped once again into a state of unconsciousness.

      In that moment, time seemed to slow down for Taeyeon as the one name slipped out, barely audible, from between her lips. It wasn't a 
scream, not yet in the least.
      Time seemed to freeze, as the terrifying smile faltered and then dissapeared immediately. The dagger started to shake furiously on 
Taeyeon's left. 
      The lurching feeling in Taeyeon's heart told her 
      But she knew she couldn't relax yet, because although the dagger was shaking, it still hadn't dropped and was still right next to her neck.
     "Girl....." it snarled. "What did you say...?" 
     Taeyeon opened  to repeat what she'd just uttered a second ago. 

     "Angel," she whispered again. 

     "My guardian angel is always with me."

  Her voice was suddenly melodic and airy, almost monotone, and it seemed as if it never belonged to her in the first place.
  Suddenly, Taeyeon felt the arm around her neck push tighter against, making her gasp out loud and claw at it with her bloodied hands. She
started gasping for breath, and kicking and struggling to break free from the strong hold.
   "Don't mess with me..." the voice seemed to be crawling and scraping into Taeyeon's ears at this point. "I gave you one chance and you lost
it so--"
  With a sudden surprising heave of strength, Taeyeon somehow managed to push herself away from the clutches of the monstrosity she was
held by, and knock it to the ground.
  Without a second's hesitation, she ran away as fast as she could, in the direction she hoped to be of the mansion. She knew that if she was 
caught now, she wouldn't have such a very lucky break again. Her breath was getting caught up in , but she didn't care. She 
just let her torn running shoes tear itself even more through the thick brambles and thorns of the forest that seemed to get more and more
plentiful as she kept going. 
   "YOU CAN'T ESCAPE ME, YOU WRETCHED GIRL!!!" the voice growled angrily behind her. She heard a sound like the whoosing wind behind
her, and a chill slide down her body: it was coming. 
  And it was coming fast.
  Taeyeon knew it was the only way to escape, so she veered off the clear path and into the even darker brambles of the forest beyond. Her 
hopes of steering away from the monster was quickly diminished.
  "DON'T BOTHER! I SPENT THE LAST 3 DAYS IN THIS GOD-FORSAKEN FOREST!" 
  Taeyeon's blood seemed to freeze as she realized she'd made an extremely horrible mistake. Her luck had run out, and now her sense of 
direction was completely thrown off: she had no idea how to get back to the mansion and no idea where she was going. It was getting darker
and darker by the minute and it seemed like she had fallen into a trap she'd set up by herself. 
 
      "LEETEUK-OPPA!!"
     "Yah! Park Jung Soo!"   
      "See you around, Teukie-oppa..."  
     "Annyong, Teuk-Teukie-oppa!!
      "LEETEUK OPPAAAAAA!!!"
  
   Taeyeon's eyes widened as his countless names ran through her mind again. She didn't think his name would appear in her head again.
    What exactly is he to me...?   
    Taeyeon wanted to close her eyes right now but knew she couldn't, as his images and memories scrolled through her mind like a film 
replay.
    In a way, it was terrible. 
   Taeyeon brought her hand up to her head, attempting to control her sudden terrifying headache. It was making her knees weak and 
her breathing even harder then ever. Her vision blurred and her eyes struggled to keep themselves open. She shuddered as her entire
body reflected the agonizing headache that suddenly overcame her. The branches and trees scorched her, leaving deep scars and wounds
in her. 
  But she couldn't feel anything.
  She could feel nothing but the pain in her head and heart. 
  She could only keep running and running. 

  Is this....the angel's curse...?

  At that moment, a sudden burst of fresh air brought her senses suddenly alive. Her eyes fully opened as she realized in horror where she'd
ended up. 
  She was on the beach clearing again, on the day she'd first arrived at this island mysteriously.
  There wasn't a place to hide and the only thing ahead of her was a vast body of dark, ominous water.
  Taeyeon stopped near the very edge of the sand, not knowing where to go next. It was too late to go back into the forest at this point, and
she could already see the black shadow approaching her. There was no way to run, and Taeyeon realized she could do nothing she could to
save herself. She had been foolish enough to let herself be cornered.
  The clouds drifted onwards, shielding the moon again, as the dark shadow made its way out of the twisted forest and confronted Taeyeon.
Taeyeon couldn't see the glint of the blade anymore, but she knew it was there. She shivered, as she pictured in her mind the feeling of 
it entering her chest and piercing the thin fabrics of her own heart. She raised her right hand defensively up to her chest, breathing hard.
  "So, you managed to run straight into a dead end, huh?" 
   Taeyeon's eyes widened. The voice had changed completely. It wasn't a guttural rasp like before, and had instead into a soft and melodic
voice that was almost nice to listen to. It completely contrasted what it had been before, yet Taeyeon still couldn't tell if it belonged to a male
or female. At this point she knew that the voice wasn't the least bit familiar as she'd expected it to be. 
   At that moment, Taeyeon suddenly raised her hands up in defeat and looked down towards the sandy footprints plastered in the sand that 
would eventually be wiped away by the sand.
   No one will know what happened...
   "Araseo..." she sighed. Her voice wasn't ever quavering anymore. She knew her time was up and that it was pointless to beg to Death now.
"But can't you answer a few questions before I die? I at least want to know who did me the favour..."
  The voice laughed. It was like the sound of cracked bells. 
  "I guess I can do at least that much for someone who put up such a diligent fight..." it whispered.
  A gust of wind pierced the intense feeling of the atmosphere, and Taeyeon realized with a fright that the chill had come back to her senses.
She was no longer feeling unafraid and invincible of her fate of death like she was before. Even the sound of the voice was much more so
soothing and gentle now, it was only a lot more discomforting to her in another way.
  The mysterious shadow suddenly raised what seemed to be its right hand and touched something above where its head ought to be. Taeyeon
only realized now in the midst of her paranoa and fear that what she'd thought to be some sort of creepy monster was simply a person 
wearing a long flowing black cloak. Nonetheless, there was something ominous and unearthly about the way it seemed to float amongst the
wind smoothly and slowly. The person'd grabbed onto the hood, in a way that seemed to imply that he or she would pull it back to reveal his
or her currently shadowed face.
  "I'll show you my face..." a whisper faded through the wind. Taeyeon felt the chilly breeze touch her cheek, the whisper indirectly touching
her.  
  "But...." the voice continued. "...I'll have to kill you within five seconds, otherwise you might remember it when you go to the other world...
....I don't need more people haunting me."
  5 seconds...Taeyeon's brain suddenly sparked. I'd have 5 seconds to escape.... Taeyeon carefully took in her surroundings without moving
her eyes or head too much, in order not to raise any suspicion. I must keep calm....that is the only way.....I've still got my friends to find....if I
die here, no one will ever save them.... At that moment, her eyes caught ahold of something.
  Aigo....it's risky, but it's the only way...
  "Don't clench your fists at me, and I'll make this fast for you," the voice became snarlly again for a moment, but the next time it spoke, it
became melodic again. "I wish a good life in heaven........or hell."
   The hood flew off the person's head and revealed a face that Taeyeon didn't manage to see.
   She had started running away.
   Towards the water.
   "YOU'RE NOT ESCAPING NOW!!" the snarlling voice had returned, but Taeyeon daren't look back even though she knew it might give her 
a hint of what was going on. She heard a terrifying splash as her feet entered the freezing body of water, sending an expected sensation to 
wash through her, although the rest of her body knew that it was nothing to enjoy. She found herself getting more and more submerged in
the water as she boldly stepped deeper and deeper into the dark body.
   I can't let someone else take me like this.....I'd rather take myself....
   "I WON'T LET YOU GO! NOW THAT YOU'VE SEEN MY FACE!!"
   BANG!
   Taeyeon felt a shock past through as she knew what that sound meant. But she knew she wasn't letting up now. She kept going deeper and
deeper, and at this point her neck was barely floating above the water. 
   Why didn't he or she just kill me with the gun to begin with....?
   She closed her eyes suddenly and did something she never expected she had the courage to do.
   "JAMKAN MANYO!!" she cried out, clearly and purely into the cold and silent air that was torn through by the raging sound of bullets. She
heard a tense and strange silence stretch out across the blank horizon, as a picture of the firearm lowering was pictured in her mind. 
   "You...you...still haven't let scream out the name of the person who's going to rescue me..." Taeyeon's voice was barely audible but somehow
it was louder than anything else she'd said before. She made no move otherwise and her eyes remained closed and her body lurching 
dangerously in the water that threatened to take her away at any moment. 
   "Buoya...." the voice had turned even nastier than before.
   Taeyeon's eyes flashed open fiercely and she turned back angrily, face to face with a pair of cold eyes that were reflected in her own. 
   
   "LEETEUK-AHH!!!!"
   
   Her eyes widened as she saw the gun flash up in a fury. The last thing she heard was a sharp bang, as she felt a lurching wave knock her 
legs loose from underneath. She felt the water carry her away as her eyes started to fade again, and her body floated in an unearthly and
horrendous matter. It seemed much too late to save her now, and she slowly felt her body entering an unconscious state, slowly and subtly.
She almost scoffed at herself for her patheticness and inability to do anything for herself.....the most she could do was take her own life with
hopes that her friends' lives would be saved. It hurted her to think that she had to depend so much on others.
  But still, she somehow felt now regret in calling his name.

   Leeteuk oppa.....why didn't you save me....?
   
   Taeyeon saw her pale hand float up awkwardly one last time, before she forgot everything else in her mind and let the waves control her
completely.
