Huang Cho Hee

Entwined Destinies
Leeteuk felt a gentle brushing on his forehead. It felt like the texture of a soft cloth: there was someone
cleaning his face for him. There was sunlight seeping through his eyelids so he assumed in was daylight.
"T--Taeyeon...?" Leeteuk managed to croak out.
"Annyo, Jung Soo-oppa, it's me," replied an unfamiliar voice.
Leeteuk managed to force his eyes open at last and he found himself looking into the eyes of a very attractive
woman. She was kneeling over him, and was using a cloth to clean the sweat and dirt off of his face. Her raven black
hair flowed in curls down to her waist, her deep auburn eyes had long and delicate lashes, and there was a gentle and
caring smile on her face. She was a flowy white dress that was very simple but looked radiant on her. Her
beauty was much sharper and obvious, in constrast to Taeyeon's which was deeper and more subtle.
Leeteuk pushed her arm away and slowly drew himself to a sitting position still blinking some of the sleep out of his eyes.
   "Nu--nu goyah?" Leeteuk slurred sleepily.
The woman giggled. "Oppa! You don't remember me?" she asked, a teasing tone in her voice. She brushed a lock of her black
curls out of her eyes. "It's me, Cho Hee. Your childhood friend."
Leeteuk stared at her for another moment, as if he was trying to remember who she was. His eyes suddenly clearly reflected
his surprise. "YOU'RE Huang ChoHee?!"
She nodded happily and clapped her hands. "I knew you'd remember!"
Leeteuk eyed her suspiciously. "...are you sure?"
Cho Hee laughed. "Oppa, it's me! I've changed since then. I'm no longer the nerdy, short and distasteful Cho Hee anymore. I've
grown up now." She eyed Leeteuk up and down with her sharp eyes. "And apparently, so have you...." Leeteuk looked uncomfortable
at compliment but forced a smile anyways.
"So, do you know where we are?" Leeteuk asked as he got up and brushed the sand off his clothes and held out a hand to help her up.
She grabbed it tighter than she ought to and pulled herself up beside him.
"Of course!" she beamed. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "We're at my parents' island resort! They don't use it much and
no one ever really comes here so I end up being the only one who comes here usually. It's such a nice place! I was wandering around her away
from my place this morning and then I was so surprised when stumbled across you!"
"Wait, so this entire island is your place?" Leeteuk asked.
"Ne! The forest and everything," Cho Hee smiled. She suddenly wrapped her arms around Leeteuk's right arm. "Oppa, kinchena? I saw you
unconscious and I was really afraid."
Leeteuk smiled at her gently. "Well, at least I know I'm safe now." Cho Hee slightly reddened and held onto his arm even tighter.
"Come, we'll get you to my place," Cho Hee announced. She brushed some dirt of his sleeve. "You're filthy, we'll need to get you cleaned."
She pulled Leeteuk's arm to drag him along, but for some reason he didn't budge.
"Oppa, kinchena?" Cho Hee asked concernedly.
Leeteuk looked distracted for a second. "Ah...annyo..." Leeteuk replied. "It's just...did you happen to see anyone else around here...?"
Cho Hee looked genuinely confused. "Annyo....it's rare for anyone other than me to be here..."
   "No, I meant--"
"Kinchena oppa. I'm pretty sure you were just imagaining things." She attempted to pull him again.
"Annyo, I should make sure she's safe first," Leeteuk replied quickly. He shook his arm free from Cho Hee's grip and rushed in the
direction where he thought he saw Taeyeon's silhouette the other night.
"Jung Soo-oppa!!" Cho Hee called after him. But Leeteuk showed no sign of hearing her.
Leeteuk sprinted as fast he could, and eventually he saw Taeyeon lying on her makeshift bed of leaves. Her brown hair was mousled and
tossed, and she was still sleeping as soundly as ever.
Without thinking, Leeteuk knelt down and started shaking her awake.
"Taeyeon-ah! Wake up!" he said. Taeyeon groaned and turned to her side. The Sleeping Beauty had been awakened by her prince--
   "Go away."
   So much for that.
Leeteuk shook her again. "Taeyeon-ah! I found someone here! She has a place here where we can stay at! You can get cleaned up and we can
find a way--"
"I'm not going anywhere with you."
Leeteuk put his head down and sighed. He probably should've seen this coming.
"You know you can't stay here," he tried again. "You're going to have to leave this place eventually and this is the fastest way." She still didn't
move. "You'll have to deal with me longer if you stay here."
Taeyeon ears perked up at that. She slowly sat up.
"You promise to get us back as fast as possible and get your evil-looking face away from mine if I go with you?"
"Hey, my face is not evil-looking."
"Ha, well it reflects your heart."
Leeteuk was silent at that. Instead, he simply offered her his hand to help her up. She ignored the hand completely
and got up by herself, leaving Leeteuk slightly flustered, not knowing what to do next.
Taeyeon brushed her arms off and without looking him in the eye, she asked Leeteuk a blunt question.
   "Well?"
"JUNG SOO OPPA!!!" called a feminine voice in the distant. Both Leeteuk and Taeyeon turned up to see Cho Hee running
towards them. She finally caught up to them, catching her breath by holding onto Leeteuk's shoulders.
"Ah...Jung Soo oppa-ah, you run too fast..." she huffed. Taeyeon eyed her suspiciously. Cho Hee finally noticed Taeyeon's
presence and turned to her. "Ah, who would she be?" she asked Leeteuk in a happy tone. Taeyeon was annoyed at the fact
that this person was acting as if she didn't exist.
Leeteuk was about to open his mouth when Taeyeon suddenly jumped in.
"Komowayo, I can introduce myself," she declared with a harsh tone in her voice while stepping between Leeteuk and Cho Hee.
"Kim Taeyeon mida, and I'd like to know yor name too if you don't mind."
"Huang Cho Hee mida," Cho Hee smiled brightly. She held out a hand which Taeyeon shook slowly. "So, uh, you and Jung Soo-oppa
must be close, huh? I noticed informal language between you there."
Taeyeon quickly glared at Leeteuk before answering. "Annyo, I barely know him at all." She emphasized the last few words hard,
making Leeteuk shuffle uncomfortably.
   "But I heard you--"
"Slip of the tongue is all. So why are you here again?"
Leeteuk took this moment to step in. "Ah, Cho Hee happens to be my childhood friend and also owns this island here, lucky for us. She's
offered to give us some accomodations because we have no idea how we got here and all."
Cho Hee seemed to glow after Leeteuk spoke. As if she had a planned reason of some sort, she suddenly hopped over to Leeteuk's side again.
"Ne, oppa! It'll be great! It's just a few minutes' walk from here actually! Think of it as avacation or something...with me!!!"
Leeteuk smiled forcefully back at her and saw Taeyeon roll her eyes in the background.
"Well, if you don't mind I could tag along..." Taeyeon muttered. "I have some people I need to find..."
Cho Hee's smile suddenly dissapeared. "But oppa, I only have one good room available..."
Leeteuk and Taeyeon immediately locked onto each others eyes before they could help it. No doubt the same thought flashed through their
minds in that second, because their eyes turned swiftly away as fast as they came together.
"I guess I could stay here," Taeyeon said slowly looking down to her feet.
Cho Hee suddenly shook her head frantically and grabbed Taeyeon's arm as if they were close friends as opposed to the strangers that they
were.
"Annyo!" Cho Hee exclaimed. "That's not what I meant! You can certainly stay at my place if you want. I was just worried you wouldn't be
comfortable sleeping in one of the smaller guest rooms that aren't as good."
Taeyeon smiled and shook her head. "It'd be fine. I just thought...nevermind..." She turned away as fast as she could.
Cho Hee beamed and ran to grab Leeteuk's arm again.
"Then let's go Taeyeon-unnie!" she said happily. She frowned suddenly. "You are my unnie, right? You look like you would be...Aigo! I didn't
 mean that! Uh...joesuphnida! I don't know what I was thinkig! I'm so--"
"Kinchena," Taeyeon laughed suddenly. She put a hand on Cho Hee's shoulder. "I get that a lot. And I'd actually like it better if you'd called me
unnie too." Cho Hee's worried face relaxed immediately. She quickly thanked Taeyeon and apologized again.
"Ahjumma!" Leeteuk coughed. Taeyeon turned and glared at him subtly.
"Let's go now!" Cho Hee announced. She grabbed Leeteuk tighter and starting running. He let out a startled yelp but let her drag him anyway.
Taeyeon simply sighed and followed them.
Just please let me get home quicker.

                                                                                  ********************************************

"Omona...is this a castle?" Taeyeon awed.
She, Leeteuk and Cho Hee were standing in front of what was a huge mansion and complicating architectual designs. It was one heck of a
sight to be on such a deserted island. There was even a helipad and mini runway on the side. One side of the mansion overlooked the now
mesmerizing waters and the other looking into the enchanting forest. It really was one heck of a sight, and she wonder how she'd
missed it before.
"Welcome to my home," Cho Hee annouced as she threw open the gates leading to the main door. Taeyeon and Leeteuk followed her, their
heads turning every which way, amazed by the incredible sight.
"When we get inside, you guys can call your friends," Cho Hee was saying. "I'm sure they're worried sick about you guys. Then, since I'm
lonely here anyway, I'll send them a private plane and bring them here with us. I have a few more guest rooms they can stay in. You guys
have summer break anyway."
Taeyeon gasped at the idea. "You have a private jet?"
"Actually, five, but I only have full access to three." Taeyeon's mouth dropped even lower as Cho Hee started to open the front door.
"Yah, ajumma," Leeteuk whispered. "Close your mouth, you look like a constipated monkey."
Taeyeon huffed in an annoying tone. "Let me remind you that I owe all this to Cho Hee, not you. So don't talk to me." With that, she
stepped inside leaving the flustered Leeteuk behind.
If Taeyeon had felt amazed before, it was nothing compared to now. The interior of the mansion was like nothing she'd ever seen before.
They were standing in the front lobby, which was decorated with lavish silk curtains. There wasn't a lot of furniture, but anything that
was there looked extremely expensive. There were two grand staircase winding around the centre, leading to the next floor.
She couldn't see where the ends of the house was no matter where she looked. To top it off, there was a giant crystal chandelier in the
midst of it. The room was decorated with nice golden leaves and ornaments and there were priceless paintings hanging all around.
And this was just the front.
"Waah...Cho Hee-ah, your house is huge," Taeyeon mused. She snapped her head to Cho Hee, who was heading one of the two
grand staircases. "What the heck do your parents do for a living anyways?"
"Business," she replied. "They're CEOs of Huangshi Corps, the current rival company to Shinhwa Corps. (A/N BOF ref, how
could I not? xD)"
Taeyeon's eyes widened even more. "You're the daughter of Soo and Junghwa Huang?!!"
Cho Hee nodded. "I see you've heard of my parents too."
   "So...you...you're a multi-billionaire's daughter?"
Cho Hee shrugged modestly. "I guess."
   "But you're so easy-going...and nice!"
"Is there a reason why I shouldn't be?"
Taeyeon's mouth was now hanging wide open and she didn't even care. Right now she was standing in the house of one of the biggest
business organizations in Korea, and had just somewhat befriended the heir to the company.
Cho Hee waved her hand. "Enough about that, let's get you guys settled in. Come, I'll show you your rooms. You can contact your
friends there too."
Leeteuk and Taeyeon hurriedly followed Cho Hee up the grand staircase and down the vast hallways with seemingly hundreds of door
lining up each other.
Taeyeon's eyes wandered as she walk.
"Cho Hee-ah," she said suddenly. "Why don't you have any servants or maids around? I haven't seen any..."
"I don't really like having people around where I live," Cho Hee responded. "I guess sometimes I like being alone like this. You guys
are pretty much the first people ever to stay here." She gave Taeyeon an adorable wink. "Here's your room, Taeyeon." Cho Hee stopped in
front of a wooden door with intricate leaves decorating it. She grasped the knob. "I really hope you don't mind. It's really very
simple, and only gives you just enough. Anyway, you can help yourself to whatever's in there...clothes, phone, whatever." And she
 pushed the door open.
Taeyeon blinked once, then twice to make sure what she saw was real as she stepped it. Cho Hee might've thought it was simple but
to Taeyeon it was a room fit for royalty. The room itself was huge. There was cushioned and soft looking bed in the corner and a nice
coffee table and couches near the front. She saw two more doors, and decided that one must've led to a washroom and the other to the
closet. There were flowers and plants decorating the room all around.
"So, you think you're going to be okay?" Cho Hee asked.
Taeyeon turned around and beamed. "Did you decorate this room?!" Cho Hee nodded slowly. "It has to be the most beautiful room I've
ever seen in my life!" At this, Cho Hee too broke into a smile.
"Well, I'm glad you think so, but I really feel guilty about letting you stay here while Jung Soo oppa gets a huge room and everything..."
 she pouted.
Taeyeon smiled. "Kinchena, this place is great!"
"If you say so," Cho Hee shrugged. Her eyes shot up again. "But I still want to show you the other room! Come!" Forgetting all about
Leeteuk, the girls ran out of the room towards two huge doors at the end of the hall.
"Yah! Wait up!!" Leeteuk called after them as he ran.
Cho Hee didn't even hesitate in throwing the doors open this time, and Taeyeon was amazed by what she saw. There were beautiful
paintings hanging on the walls and the decorations were phenomenal. It was a lot more complicated than the other room, and burst
with the feel of regality and elegance. This room, as Cho Hee mentioned, was a lot bigger and had more furniture.
"Do you like it?" Cho Hee asked. For some reason, her eyes were glassy. "My auntie, a professional interior designer did this one and
my own room down the hallway. I've always loved her work, and I actually wish I could be like her one day." She turned to Taeyeon
and beamed at her. "It's my dream to be a brillant interior designer. Kind of dumb, huh?"
Taeyeon shook her head. "Not at all, I think it's great," she responded. Taeyeon let her eyes gaze around to take in more. "It's really
nice...but can I be honest?"
   "Please do."
"I liked the other room better."
Cho Hee turned her glassy eyes onto Taeyeon. "Buoya...?"
   "It's true..."
"Annyo! Annyo!" Cho Hee exclaimed suddenly. She turned away from Taeyeon and walked out of the room as Taeyeon followed.
"Don't tell me such things just to make me feel better! I could never compare to Auntie, let alone be better than her..." Cho Hee
turned her eyes away. "She let me know that enough times..."
"Buoya....?" Taeyeon asked confused. But Cho Hee was no longer talking to her.
"Jung Soo oppa-ah!" she called down the hallway. "Hurry! Your room's here!" Leeteuk ran up to them huffing and puffing.
Taeyeon couldn't help herself. "Yah, was that snail jog too much for you, ahjussi?" she shot at Leeteuk. She regretted it the moment
it left , because she'd promised to herself she wouldn't talk to him. Luckily for her, Leeteuk decided to ignore this comment.
"This is my room?!" Leeteuk asked incredously. He scratched the back of his head. "Isn't it a little too much? I mean, it's great but..."
Cho Hee's eyes were wide. "Don't tell me...you don't like this room either?!"
"Well, I guess it's okay but it's a let down from the other one you showed me...."
Cho Hee looked as if she was about to faint for a second, but then she snapped right back.
"Um...if you want, I can give you the room beside Taeyeon's...it's exactly the same as hers..." she stuttered.
"That would be nice," Leeteuk shrugged.
Taeyeon suddenly the both of them with an exaspearatted look on her face. "BOI?!"
Cho Hee was shocked at her reaction. "Is there anything wrong with that?"
"NE!" she responded quickly. She glanced at Leeteuk, who was looking at her with a somewhat confused look. Swiftly, she pulled
Cho Hee aside.
Taeyeon dropped her voice down to a whisper. "Listen, that guy and me cannot be in adjacent rooms. I will not tolerate him
 harassing me any longer--"
"Jung Soo-oppa?" Cho Hee interupted. "Harassing?"
"Araseo, not like that but he tried to do unbelievable things to me and friends and I can't stand it--"
"Look, the Jung Soo I knew would never do something like that--"
"THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT UNTIL HE TRIED TO KILL ME!" Taeyeon exploded. Leeteuk's eyes snapped up and looked worriedly at
 Cho Hee and Taeyeon.
   "Taeyeon-ah, that's not--"
   "Be quiet."
Cho Hee's eyes were worried, but then she burst into laughter.
"That's funny, unnie," Cho Hee giggled. "You two are having one of those cliche couple fights."
"BUOYA?!" Taeyeon and Leeteuk burst at the same time.
"I was kidding," Cho Hee mused. put a hand over to cover her giggles. "You can stay there if you like Jung Soo oppa, shouldn't
be a problem." Leeteuk looked satisfied while Taeyeon looked petrified. Cho Hee pushed them towards their rooms.
"Well, I haven't had visitors in awhile so this calls for a celebration!" Cho Hee suddenly announced as Taeyeon and Leeteuk were about to enter
their rooms. She glanced at her silver watch. "Well how about you guys get settled in and then get to the dining room at about 8? You can get
dressed up and we can have a formal party and everything! We can get--"
"Miahne, Cho Hee," Taeyeon interuptted suddenly. "I'm not in the mood for partying tonight."
Leeteuk nodded. "I need to check on my friends first."
Cho Hee looked dissapointed but still nodded. "Well, just call me if you change your mind." And with that she left.
"Well, that was abrupt," Leeteuk muttered softly.
Taeyeon gave Leeteuk an evil glare to each other before dissapearing into her room and closing the door behind her. She quickly rushed
to the phone as soon as she got in, and started dialling numbers like crazy, hoping for her friends.
   Please be okay.

                                                                                              ****************************

"How is she doing?" the man questioned swiftly.
"Perfectly, sir. She's lured them to where they need to be." A
young man in a black suit responded.
"Perfect," he chuckled. "It's time to release the hellhounds."

Yes, from now on the lead evil villain will be referred to as "the man". Pretty epic...not..:P
