The Great Escape

Entwined Destinies
Jessica flew through the open air, as if she had invisible wings. Her blonde hair flew gloriously behind her, like a lovely and fierce lioness' mane.
Her pale rose-coloured dress complimented the white clouds that she could reach out and touch with fingertips, and her feet were bare, feeling
every tickling sensation of the rushing winds. A smile of excitement and pure enjoyment seemed to frame her beautiful face, and she spread her
arms out as if to keep her balance.
It's so lovely up here! she squealed in delight to herself. Never before had she felt so unrestrained and free. Jessica let herself do a complicated
flip in midair, like a talented acrobat except without any strings holding her back at all. Her hair and dress flaired brilliantly behind her and
she laughed in the pure joy of the moment, like a little girl who'd just learned how to ride her bike for the first time.
At that moment, she saw a dark shadow ahead of her. She squinted her eyes to see who or what exactly it was. Her path was set, and she
continued flying closer and closer to the silhouette. Jessica's focused curiousity made her unaware of the fact that the clouds and sky around
her were starting to darken with every inch that she got closer to the shadow.
At last, Jessica got close enough to make out the fact that it was the shadow of a man. She spread her arms out to slow herself down, and kept
her eyes focused on what had been a silhouette. As she got closer and closer, she realized that he was wearing a sort of black robe, and he was
simply just standing there, floating in the wind as opposed to actually moving through the clouds like her.
Jessica naurally slowed down completely to a stop, and like him, floated in midair. The raging wind forcefully caressed and blew through her
beautiful golden locks. The image of her in the pink dress floating amongst the dark skies was like that of a fairy-tale princess trapped in a dark
 and forbidden world.
Jessica opened for the first time.
"Nu goyah?" she asked. Her voice was different than normal. It was more delicate and melodic for some reason. The man seemed to register
the sound of her voice. He seemed to shuffle slightly, and finally he spun around completely so that Jessica could finally see his face. As
she took in his visage, her breath caught in .
It was the silver-eyed man who'd been chasing her and Heechul from before.
As he caught sight of the petrified Jessica, a satisfied smirk appeared on his face. He suddenly raised his right hand, slowly and carefully. Jessica
could do nothing but stare at his hypnotizing coloured eyes.
"Your time is up....princess," he smiled. His voice seemed to have a myserious echo to it, and his eyes seemed to turn red in that moment. And he
snapped the fingers of the right hand he'd just raised.
Immediately, Jessica felt a plummeting feeling in her chest. Her legs no longer held a stable position, and then she found herself flailing uselessly
through the air, falling away from the clouds.
Annyo! she cried in her mind, as the pressure was too much for her to say anything. The wind that had gently caressed minutes ago now seemed
to be pushing her to death, as she faced the distant green Earth now visible below her. The height was so perilous, so frightening that it caused her
to lose her senses immediately. She felt her eyes drooping, and her arms and legs limping, too terrified and petrified to move at this point. She was
falling through darkness, a darkness she couldn't control nor fully witness.
Suddenly, she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her waist, stabling and sending her senses jolting awake. She started flailing and kicking
uncontrollably, wanting to break free of the alien touch. At this point, it didn't feel like she was falling through air anymore, and more like she
was sinking into a deep body of water, unable to breath or move freely. Her eyes couldn't see properly, and all she could make out was a dark blur
that seemed to belong to a man now grabbing her legs and wrapping his arms tighter around her.
   Annyo, annyo...you can't have me...
Jessica started hitting and beating on the body that was now pressing into full contact with hers, wrapped tightly against and guiding her
somewhere. She couldn't see anything, but she did everything she could to break free.
At that moment, she felt a sudden miraculous wave of relief wash through her, bringing every sense she had left back alive. She gave a powerful
kick and setting herself free from the grasp of the person holding. Her eyes flashed open and she bolted upright--
To find herself setting on the edge of a body of water that was surrounded by a sparse forest.
Where...where am I? she wondered, now fully awake. She brought her hand woozily up to her head. She buried her face into it as if she had a
headache, and with her mind spinning, the recollections of her memory flashed lazily through her mind.
She remembered going to Leeteuk's house and pranking Taeyeon, and then a band of people dressed in black came and caught them all, knocking
them out. Somehow, she found herself awake in a cramped, tight truck, with all her girl friends aroun her, and she ended escaping in order to
come back and help them. However, the culprits discovered her while she was escaping and chased after, pushing her to the edge of a cliff. Finally,
she remembered jumping off the cliff with Heechul holding her tightly in his arms, protecting her and keeping her safe--
   Heechul.
Jessica's mind fully awakened immediately as she whirled her head around this way and that to look for her kind-of saviour. She scrambled to her
feet and continued looking, her expression frantic and desparate.
"HEECHUL OPPA!!" she called, walking around. "HEECHUL OPPA!!"
    No response.
And it was only then that she noticed him lying unconscious on a rock jutting awkwardly out of the water.
"OPPA!!" she cried. She ran towards him, still with one boot on and one foot bare, splashing through the water in order to be able to get to him.
"OPPA!!" she yelled out one more time as she grabbed ahold of his shoulders. Using all of the strength she had left, she dragged him onto the dry
land and started shaking him, hoping to wake him.
"HEECHUL OPPA!! WAKE UP!!" she yelled. She found herself crawling over him and doing everything she could to wake him up. She even started
hitting him gently at first, and then harder and harder.
"WAKE UP, YOU UNINTELLIGIENT BABO!!" she cried out suddenly, hoping it would wake him up.
   And it worked.
At the word "babo", Kim Heechul's eyes fluttered opened immediately and glared deeply and angrily into Jessica's eyes.
"Who's a babo?" Heechul questioned, an edge to his voice.
"HEECHUL OPPA!!" Jessica shrieked. Before she could help it, she threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.
"AIYAH--!!" Heechul cried out. "STOP--IT--!! YOU'RE--CHOKING--ME--!" He wheezed desparately, hoping Jessica would let go.
Jessica slowly withdrew her arms carefully from his neck. She looked at him with an endearing expression.
"Miahne, oppa--" she started to say sweetly.
"Ne, ne, whatever, just get off me," Heechul responded harshly. "I wish you would wake me up like normal, feminine girls....hitting and slapping
the legendary Kim Heechul like that..." He started sitting up, forcing Jessica to withdraw from his lap. She suddenlylooked extremely ennervant
and annoyed.
"Buoya? What's with the attitude?" she shot at him, her tone changed completely.
"Oh please, don't act all innocent," Heechul scoffed in displeasure, as he scratched the back of his head unenthusiastically. "...way to treat your
saviour after he risks his life to save you.......twice...." he mumbled.
Jessica stared at him. "What're you....." Her mind flashed back to the dream she had before she woke up. She'd recalled someone grabbing
onto her and holding her....
   It couldn't be...
"You were the one who saved me from drowning?" Jessica spat out suddenly.
"Annyo, the piranhas carried you to safety," Heechul grumbled angrily. He met eyes with her. "OF COURSE IT WAS ME! Who else would be
kind enough rescue a witch like you?!"
Jessica was taken aback and appalled by his sudden flaring temper.
"EXCUSE ME?!" she shrieked. "Did you just call me a WITCH?!"
"Ne! Because you are one!" Heechul roared.
Jessica scoffed. "Well what've I ever done to you?!"
"You nailed me in the face right after I pulled you out of the water, you ungrateful spoiled witch!"
Jessica's mind flashed back to her unsettling dream again. She recalled herself flailing desparately in someone's tight embrace, and then finally
hitting him somewhere causing him to release her and...
   Oh.
"Well...I...uh...I was half conscious so...uh...you....can't really blame me," Jessica muttered embarassedly, her red face pointed
downwards, avoiding Heechul's piercing gaze. "Plus.....you were holding me kind of tightly...."
"Jeongmal?" he asked mockingly. "For a half conscious person you're pretty strong.....knocked me out unconscious...." The last part came out
quietly and almost inaudibly.
Jessica's ears perked up. "What did you say?"
   "Nothing."
"Annyo, you said something at the last part..."
   "Annyo I didn't."
"Something about me knocking you out...."
   "I DIDN'T!"
   "No way..."
    "Buoya?"
Jessica suddenly threw her head back and cackled quite unattractively and contradicting her usual princess-like image. Heechul looked both
annoyed and embarassed at the same time at her sudden change.
"BUOYA?!" he yelled out. "What are you laughing about?"
Jessica was laughing so hard by now that she was slapping the sandy ground in her sudden senseless situation.
"THE AMAZING KIM HEECHUL GOT BEATEN BY A GIRL!" she screeched, not even bothering to cover to contain any feminity she had
left. Heechul's ears flared angrily and it seemed like smoke was coming out of his nose.
"YAH! SHUT UP!!" he yelled. But Jessica didn't oblige, and only laughed harder. Annoyed, he stood up and brushed off his clothing and started
walking away.
Startled by his sudden actions, Jessica stopped laughing and looked after him.
"Wh--where are you g-going?" Jessica asked, still choking on her breath from the insane laughing. She casually wiped a tear from here eye.
"To do something productive," Heechul retorted sharply. He made no move to stop walking. "Just in case you've forgotten, your friends and
at least one of mine are stuck up there somewhere." He nodded towards the cliff where they'd just jumped down from earlier, still not facing
her. "You can either sit there by youself and keep laughing like a madwoman or you can rip off that stupid boot of yours that almost killed us both
earlier and follow me."
Jessica stared at him walking further and further away from her, than at her boot, then at him again, and then back to her boot. Finally, she
decided to lock eyes on her boot and started peeling apart all the complicated buckles and clips on it.
"Yah! Can't you at least help me?!" she called after him. "It takes me like an hour to get these on in the morning!" She fumbled with another buckle.
"Why should I?! You seem to have all the time in the world...sitting there laughing at the Kim Heechul...."he complained.
"You really know how to hold a grudge, don't you?!" Jessica snapped, as she finally pulled on the last zipper and chucked her boot aside. However,
she immediately frowned dejectedly at it and sighed. "Those boots cost me 650 000 won..."
Heechul her as if she was crazy. "Buoya?!" he shouted. "You paid 650 000 won for some flippers that almost killed you?!"
"Yah! They're really pretty!" Jessica defended herself. She started crawling towards it. "Maybe I should keep it....just in case...."
Heechul looked at her as if she'd just gone mad. "You want to keep something that almost took away your life?!"
   "It wasn't its fault!"
Heechul threw his hands up and turned around, walking away.
"I give up," he moaned. "Just don't make me carry it for you or anything."
Jessica stood up and brushed off her pants, still holding the boot in her left hand. "Why would I?" she said, as she ran up beside him. "It's not like
 you're my boyfriend or anything."
Heechul scoffed at the comment. "Puh-lease, the amazing Kim Heechul won't be acknowledging you as his life partner anytime soon." He started
walking up the hill in the direction of where they'd fallen down from.
Jessica was appalled at Heechul's sudden boost of ego. She slapped him on the shoulder with her boot, causing him to cry out in shock.
"YAH! YOU CRAZY LADY!" Heechul yelled in fury. "That's the third time your clothes have caused insufferable harm to me!"
"Maybe if you stopped jerking around so much I wouldn't do this to you!" Jessica yelled.
Heechul groaned, somewhat in defeat. However, his swift eyes came up immediately and met with Jessica's again.
"You know," he said slyly. "When a girl bullies a guy, it means she likes him."
Jessica made no hesitation to ram the pointy black heel into Heechul's back, who let out another agonized yelp.
"I don't know what kind of fairy-tales you've been reading, but welcome to reality," she snapped fiercely.Heechul was now giving her
the dagger eyes, clearly so annoyed at Jessica that it seemed as if he wouldn't even respond to her.
But of course, being Kim Heechul, he always had to have the final word.
   "Don't talk to me anymore."
He trudged ahead of her angrily, making her struggle to keep up with him.
"YAH! HEECHUL OPPA!" Jessica squealed angrily after him. He ignored her, and kept walking.
Fine, Jessica thought. Two can play at that game.
As the walked upwards, Jessica couldn't help thinking to herself. The things she says when she's around Kim Heechul surprise her
sometimes. When she's around her friends, she's known as the bubbly-brained, dense and innocent person who says whatever's on her mind.
They continually tease and make fun of her for her personality, but she enjoyed being like that around them.
However, when she's around Kim Heechul, she pretty much became the contrary. Sharp-tongued, witty and alert, he brought out a side
of her that she never knew she had. Even though she knew it wasn't entirely her true self, she enjoyed being around him for some unknown
reason, and she defintely felt safer when he was protecting her. But sometimes, he was just so arrogant and oobnoxious that she couldn't
stand him. She scratched her head to think of a reasonable answer.
   ...I'm...........bipolar...?
Jessica finally decided to shake the thoughts out of her head and focus on the situation at hand. Once they get up to the place, they'd
obviously have to find a way in. Knowing Heechul, he could probably talk his way in miraculously somehow, but then comes the hard part:
searching for the captives. They surely wouldn't be In plain sight so looking for them was probably going to be insanely difficult.
Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, Seohyun......lease be alright.
Jessica clasped her hands together awkwardly (with the boot still in her left hand) and closed her eyes, hoping for the best. Afterwards
she walked on in silence, secretly hoping for Heechul to say something to ease her uncomfortabilty. Geez. When he holds a grudge, he
REALLY holds a grudge.
Finally, after minutes of walking, they managed to come face to face with a metal fence, strutting up in the middle of nowhere and blocking
their way. Beyond it was a large, grey building, undoubtedly the place where their friends were kept. Heechul and Jessica eyed at the fence
questionaingly, unsure what to do next.
Heechul was the first to make a move. Without a word, he took off his shoes and threw them over the fence.
"Wh--what are you doing?" Jessica asked.
"Still not talking to you," Heechul replied, without looking at her. He was brushing off his pants and starting to hook his foot into the fence.
"You're so immature," Jessica scoffed. "And by the way, you just did." She stuck her tongue out at him.
"Dang it..." Heechul mumbled. "Come over here and help me climb this fence."
Jessica eyed him with her large doll-like eyes. "WHAT?!" she exclaimed, accidently in English. She coughed and switched back to Korean.
"How are you going to climb that thing?!"
"Watch me," Heechul smirked. "There is nothing the amazing Kim Heechul won't attempt." He eyed the fence as if it was his arch-enemy
and hooked his other foot into the one of the opening in the fence. Jessica had to stifle a laugh; both his legs were bent awkwardly and
his hands were stretched out almost desparately on top causing him to obtain a very humourous pose.
"Yah!" she said airily. "Aren't you going to move anytime soon?"
"Shut up! I'm trying to figure this out!" Heechul retorted heartlessly, not even bothering to sound the least bit gentlemanly.
Jessica was tempted to throw her boot at him again, but resisted, knowing he'd likely strangle her this time. Instead she walked up to
him slowly, with a mischevious smile on her face.
"Wh--what are you trying to do?" Heechul stumbled on his words as he sensed the danger. Jessica didn't say a word as Heechul saw her
hands reach up to him.
He suddenly felt a jolt of pain run through his body, automatically releasing his hands from the fence and causing a very screwed up
expression to appear on his face. The rest of his body followed his hand, and he fell to the ground with a thud. When he finally got over
the momentary shock enough to open his eyes, he looked to Jessica with her right hand in a fist.
"Yah, yah, not too mighty now are you?" Jessica couldn't help laughing at her own ability to overpower Kim Heechul so well.
"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" Heechul roared.
Jessica shrugged. "Your pose was just so funny that I had to do something about it. Face it, you're never gonna be able to climb that thing.
You're completely unfit, and that thing is way too high."
"You....are a witch," Heechul complained, looking extremely annoyed. Jessica gave a smug smile in response. He glared at her. "Actually,
witch doesn't even cover it. You're a...a..."
  "Attractive?"
"You wish," Heechul scowled, as Jessica laughed at her own wittiness. The both of them of them stood up, straightened their clothes and
continued their amazingly productive activity of glaring at the fencewith serious expressions.
"Sooo....what now?" Jessica asked, her voice suddenly extremely bubbly. She noticed it immediately and turned away, hoping Heechul
didn't notice.
Unfortunately, Heechul her immediately, his eyes wide. "Did you just do aegyo?"
   "Annyo."
   "Lies..."
"Why would I show you my aegyo?"
"Because you're entranced by Kim Heechul's perfection."
   "Ne, your perfection of flaws."
"HA! YOU JUST ADMITTED YOU'RE ENTRANCED!"
   "BUOYA?! HOW?! DID NOT!"
   "DID TOO!"
    "DID NOT!"
    "DID TOO!"
    "DID NOT!"
    "DID NOT!"
    "DID TOO!"
    "HA! YOU ADMITTED IT AGAIN!"
    "YOU TRICKED ME!"
     "Aniyo, I didn't..."
     "You're terrible!"
     "Ne, terribly good looking...."
    "You're just terrible."
    "Jealous?"
    "Of what?"
    "My beauty."
    "OF COURSE NO--"
    BOOM!
Jessica's words were cut off as she heard a sudden loud noise coming from beyond the fence. She turned towards it, with horror in her eyes.
"Wh--what was that?" she asked as she slowly shuffled closer to Heechul, clear terror in her eyes.
"Dang it, lady!" Heechul groaned, his voice suddenly a lot quieter. "You were so loud you gave away our position!"
"Buoya?! You're making it sound like my fault!" Jessica complained.
"ARGHHH!!! You know what?! Just be quiet!" Heechul commanded. He grabbed her arm forcefully and pulled her behind a big tree. He
gestured for her to be quiet, and then he put a hand up to his ear to signal for her to listen to what the people were saying.
"Well, now what?" a male voice said distinctly in the distance, surprisingly in Korean so that Heechul could understand it too.
"Who knows?" replied a charming female voice that sounded like bells. "But we really need to focus if we're going to succeed at this." Heechul
turned to look at Jessica as if to send her a telepathic message. Succeed at what?!
"Ne, ne, but I wasn't talking about that," the male responded. "I was talking about....you know...." Heechul and Jessica stuck their heads out
further in order to hear their conversation more clearly.
"I already told you, I need to think about it."
"But it's been like 10 minutes!"
"I need more time than that! Besides, we need to focus on the task at hand.......there are people's lives involved right now, and depending
on how we handle this situation, we can make them live or die!"
The two shameless eavesdroppers cringed as they heard the mention of death, and they immediately pulled their heads back in slowly,
but still eager to hear what the couple had to say next.
"Yah..." the male voice said. "When you say it like that....it sounds so....serious...."
"It is, you dimwit! IT IS!" the female scolded. "Why don't you get that OUR LIVES could depend on this too?! They could shoot us down at
anytime!"
"BUOYA?! OUR LIVES ARE INVOLVED?! WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO EARLIER?! Nooooowwww, it's important."
"Don't sound like such a jerk!"
  "AI-YAH!"
Jessica felt more and more afraid as it went on. They're merciless even for the people who work for them......imagine how badly they'd treat
the captives.... She shuddered as she took a step backwards, wanting to run away from these terrible people once and for all. However, as
her feet touched the ground, she heard a loud crack sounding loudly and echoing all around them.
  She'd stepped on a twig.
  Again.
Heechul turned his head slowly and ominously behind him, in order to look Jessica in the eyes. Jessica gulped as she saw the current
expression plastered on Kim Heechul's face. It was almost enough to make her forget her fears about the people just beyond the fence, so
why don't you use your imagination to picture what the face may have looked like....
"Yah! I just heard something over there!" the female voice called out immediately. Heechul's face became ten times more contorted than
it had been before.
"Ne....me too...is someone spying on us?" the male replied immediately.
"That would be bad....we have to check it out!"
"I think they're behind that tree, right there!"
Heechul and Jessica could do nothing but cringe and hold onto each other tightly in fear at this point. As they heard the footsteps get closer
and closer, they realized that they could no longer escape or run anywhere without being caught. Jessica had suddenly found Heechul's
arms wrapped tightly around her, and she found herself subconsciously holding onto them with all her might. There were only a few
seconds left before the people would find them snuggled tightly behind the tree, listening closely to their entire conversation this entire
time.
Annyo, I don't want to die like this...not now... Jessica whimpered to herself as the images of all her dreams and goals whizzed by in her mind.
I....I...don't even have a boyfriend yet! I've never been in love before! And now, I'm just going to die like this?! She could nothing but snuggle
closer to Heechul's natural and warm embrace, and secretly, part of her was glad that she could at least be in such a position in her death.
She closed her eyes tightly and awaited the moment of confrontation, the sound of the footsteps louder and louder
  3.......2....1.....
  "HEECHUL HYUNG?!!!"
  "JESSICA UNNIE?!!!"
Jessica's eyes flashed opened immediately. She turned her head to look towards the fence to see who exactly it was that recognized her.
She found hanging open in shock, and she knew that Heechul's expression was probably just as flabbergasted as hers was.
"K...K...Kyuhyun...?" Heechul managed to stutter out.
"Seohyun?" Jessica said weakly. "I.....is..that really you?"
It was undeniably Kyuhyun and Seohyun standing just beyond the fence, staring at Heechul and Jessica with just as shocked expressions.
They both looked quite torn up, with their clothes all musselled up and dirty and wet, and there were even leaves stuck in their hair.
Seohyun's normally smooth and long brown hair was tousled and tangled, while Kyuhyun's somewhat dazed expression was enough to
reflect what the SeoKyu couple had been through.
"What the heck are you guys doing here?" Heechul asked suddenly, his tone angry and accussing as if Kyuhyun had committed a terrible
sin by appearing in front of him with Seohyun without notice.
"Hyung, I should be the one asking you that question," Kyuhyun said evilly. For a maknae, he sure didn't talk like a maknae. He suddenly
raised his right hand and pointed doubtingly at Heechul and Jessica. "Hyung...what're you up to?"
Both Heechul and Jessica's eyes widened as they released that the arms were still wrapped tightly around each other from before and
implied to their "innocent" dongsaengs that they had been up to something.
Jessica screeched in horror and pushed Heechul away from her immediately
"EW!" she cried out, as Seohyun raised an inquistive eyebrow. Heechul looked shocked and taken aback for a moment, but unexpectedly
a sly smirk suddenly appeared on his face.
"Yah, yah I don't know what you just said but that doesn't sound like you enjoyed being in my arms that much," he said. Kyuhyun and
Seohyun looked as if their eyes were going to pop out of their heads at the comment, while Jessica looked extremely appalled.
"BUOYA?! I wouldn't--what the--you--" Jessicas's word couldn't seem to form themselves into a sentence while Seohyun was looking more
and more curious about why her unnie's face was so red.
Jessica's stumbling was put to a stop when Kyuhyun scoffed suddenly.
"Good job, Heechul-ssi," Kyuhyun smirked, not looking Heechul in the eye. "Of course you'd be the first one out of all of us to take a girl
into a deep, dark forest."
Heechul's flaring temper was reflected in his piercing glare at Kyuhyun.
"What about you?" Heechul retorted. "You've got a girl standing right beside you as well."
"Ne, but I'm not in the forest anymore."
"Araseo! ARASEO!" Seohyun interuptted the not-so-friendly word quarrel between the two guys. "We get it, guys are jerks that like to
take girls into forests but can we please focus on the task at hand here?!"
"Yah, yah, that's a little harsh..."
   "Hyung, be quiet."
"HOW DARE YOU USE INFORMAL LANGUAGE WITH ME?!" Heechul looked as if he was about to run through the fence just to get to
Kyuhyun, but he suddenly he a felt something tugging on his ear. He whirlled around to see that Jessica was holding onto his ear and
pulling him back.
"Sunbaes should always let their hoobaes have their way," Jessica smiled charmingly.
"Why are you defending him?" Heechul asked suspiciously.
"Why shouldn't I? He's mocking the 'great Kim Heechul'."
   "Why you..."
"YAH, UNNIE!" Seohyun yelled, clearly impatient. "Not you too!"
"Johesupnida, Seohyun-unnie," Jessica teased. Our maknae does NOT act like a maknae.
Heechul eyed Kyuhyun suspiciously. "By the way, how did you guys get in there anyways?" he asked.
Kyuhyun looked at his Heechul as if he'd just asked what his own name was.
   "I climbed the fence, obviously."
Heechul and Jessica both immediately looked extremely embarassed.
"Yah, nice one, Sica-ssi," Heechul whispered harshly to Jessica. She slunked down deeper in embarassment. " 'You can't climb that fence!
You're too unathletic!' " Heechul mocked Jessica with his girly voice, as she fumed in anger.
"Why don't you guys just climb over now?" Seohyun said.
Heechul looked extremely eager to redeem himself, and immediately ran towards the fence and started grappling on to it awkwardly
again while Jessica stayed back and looked at Seohyun as if she were crazy.
"You really think I would climb that dangerous looking pointy thing?" Jessica said.
   Seohyun shrugged. "I did it."
"Ne, but you don't like guys either so you aren't really always sane." Seohyun glared angrily at her unnie. "I can't climb that thing! I
barely passed phys-ed in my first year! Plus, I'm wearing leather and tight jeans! And I'm sogging wet!"
" it up, princess!' Heechul called, his voice for some reason above. Jessica looked up and was surprised that Heechul was already half way
up the fence, and was obnoxiously waving down at her with an extremely smug expression on his face. AS she looked at him, Jessica could
just subtly feel her blood boil viciously beneath her skin.
Jessica's attitude changed completely as she marched of the fence with a determined expression.
"Seohyun, catch this this for unnie," she commanded firmly.
"Buoy---AHHHH!" Seohyun cried out as a black heeled boot and a leather jacket came flying over the fence and directly towards her.
"Miahne!" Jessica cried out as she grasped onto the fence, while Seohyun stumbled to balance the leather jacket and the
boot in her arms.
"YAH! KIM HEECHUL!" Jessica yelled out suddenly. Heechul seemed startled by the sudden call and turned down to see an angry
Jessica, struggling to climb up after him. "I MAY HAVE GIVEN YOU A HEADSTART BUT I'LL BEAT YOU TO THE OTHER SIDE!"
Seohyun put her hand up to her forehead. "Aigo..." she sighed.
"This cannot end well," Kyuhyun said, strangely happy. The two watched as Jessica climbed faster than expected, easily gaining on
Heechul after a few minutes. Heechul was looking slightly frantic, but much more determined than before for some reason. Somehow,
they reached the top at the exact same time.
As Jessica swung her right leg over the top, she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her left leg. She looked over to see that Heechul had hit her leg
with his own leg pretty hard.
"YAH! Watch where you're moving!" Jessica screeched.
"It was an accident! You're such a spaz!" Heechul roared back.
"Araseo," Jessica grimaced. She purposely swung her left leg over to nail Heechul right in the face and almost sent him toppling over the
fence.
  "WHAT. IS. YOUR. PROBLEM?!"
Jessica's eyes flared up, and was ready to do some serious trash-talking. Seohyun looked as if she wanted to die right there and
then while Kyuhyun's evil grin just got wider and wider.
Kyuhyun turned to look at Seohyun. "Do you have any popcorn?" he asked.
She gave him an exhausted glare. "Seriously?!"
"Miahne..." he immediately turned away like a little kid who'd just been scolded by his mother. They both turned their attention to Heechul
and Jessica sitting on the fence, both looking as if they were ready to blow up.
"You...you are SUCH AN EGOTISTICAL JERK I CAN'T STAND YOU!" Jessica finally exploded. Her tone completed her raging expression and
accusing finger in such a way that it even made the amazing Kim Heechul falter for a little bit.
  But unfortunately, just a bit.
"And of course, YOU'RE SO PERFECT!" he retorted.
   "More than YOU ARE!"
   "YOU WISH!"
   "YOU WISH!"
"WHY MUST YOU BE SO UNGRATEFUL ALL THE TIME?!!"
"WHEN HAVE I EVER BEEN UNGRATGUL IN MY LIFE?!"
"You see me, you nail me in the face. I rescue you, you nail me in the face. I climb a fence, you nail me--"
   "THOSE WERE ACCIDENTS?!"
   "THREE TIMES IN A ROW?!"
Kyuhyun smile was to his ears by now, as the wrath of Heesica went on and on. "Haha, this is great. I've never seen Heechul hyung so
worked up before."
Although Seohyun was the one that had been against all this at the beginning, the expression on her face seemed to imply that she didn't
mind it much at all. "Hmm...I've never ever since Sica unnie talk like that ever before..."
  "What? In a rage?"
  "Annyo....she actually sounds....smart somehow...."
"YAH! YOU DISLOYAL MAKNAE! STOP CALLING ME DUMB!" came Jessica's voice from above. She immediately turned back to her quarrel
with Heechul.
Kyuhyun stifled a laugh while Seohyun simply stood there as if her unnie said nothing at all.
"Shouldn't we stop them?" Kyuhyun suggested.
Seohyun to him, shock in her eyes. "Since when were you the peacekeeper?"
   "Well, shouldn't we be--"
   "Nah."
   "I meant we should--"
"Let them have their lovers' quarrel."
   Kyuhyun stared at Seohyun, astonished.
"I thought you were an innocent, good girl maknae..." Kyuhyun thought out loud.
"PWAH!! YOU'RE SO WRONG!" came Jessica's shrilly voice from above. Kyuhyun turned to Seohyun for clarification. She suddenly smirked
a devilish smile Kyuhyun didn't know she was capable of.
"Well, what do you think?" she said, her tone suddenly sly and unpredictable, somewhat matching the tone that Kyuhyun had used seconds
ago to talk to Heechul. Kyuhyun just stared at her blankly, unable to say a word.
  She is the perfect woman...
"YAH! JESSICA JUNG!!" came a thunderous voice from above them. Kyuhyun was immediately snapped out of his dream-like
fantasies and looked back up towards the ongoing wrath of Heesica. They were now starting to flail their arms at each other aggresively,
with strange emotions of mixed anger and annoyance switching back and forth between them.
"Are they doing an interpretive dance or something?" Kyuhyun mused, as he too started waving his arms weirdly in order to mock his
hyung.
Seohyun shrugged. "I blame myself for scolding you before, popcorn would be great right about now." She winked cutely at Kyuhyun,
causing a slightly troubled and paranoid expression to appear on his face.
"KIM HEECHUL, I HATE YOU!" Jessica screeched loudly. She her fist at him, intending to do some damage, but at the last moment
he dodged right out of the way.
  "UNNIE!" Seohyun cried out.
Jessica yelped as she missed her target and started losing her already unstable balance from the top of the fence. Her legs gave away and
she started slipping off the thin edge.
"AIGO!!" she cried out, as she managed to grab onto the top with her right hand at the very last moment. However, she could feel her
sweaty palms slowly slip away from the slippery metal and pointed edge of the fence as she dangled helplessly at least 10 feet above
the solid and unyielding ground below her. Jessica's eyes lingered towards the ground desparately and was overcome by how far away
it looked from where she was. If she fell from there, she knew she was going to suffer at least many bruises if not a broken limb.
"HELP!!!!" Jessica shrieked. As her legs continued desparately tried to hook onto the fence to prevent herself from falling.
  "Jamkan manyo, unnie!" Seohyun hollered.
"Nah, I obviously have something else to do..."
  "..."
As Seohyun was getting over the shock of her unnie's sudden extreme witty and snappy side, she suddenly felt a light brush of wind past
by her. She looked ahead of her that Kyuhyun was standing right below where Jessica was kicking frantically over top.
"Sica-noona! LET GO!" Kyuhyun yelled as he held his arms open beneath her.
Seohyun speed-walked up right next to him, a defiant expression on her face. She angrily knocked his arm down. "Are you CRAZY?!"
she yelled. "What if she misses?!" She cupped her hands and yelled upwards to Jessica. "DON'T LISTEN TO HIM! He's crazy--OMONA!!!!!"
And in the next split second, both Heechul and Jessica came crashing down togther right on top of Kyuhyun and Seohyun, squashing
them both to the ground.
"Aigo! That was a good landing!" Heechul sighed as he stretched his arms out as if he simple just woke up from a morning nap.
"Good plan, clever maknaes!" Jessica sighed, mirroring Heechul's actions perfectly.
"Hyung, you fat is squashing my face!" Kyuhyun groaned in pain.
"Aish, Sica unnie, why do you keep doing this to me?" Seohyun moaned.
"Good landing!" Heechul and Jessica said together as they hi-fived each other and COMPLETELY ignored their dongsaengs. Delibarately
slowly, they dragged their legs off their dongsaengs crumpled bodies and pulled themselves to a standing position.
"You evil elders..." Kyuhyun groaned as he stood up and rubbed his back.
"So that was all an act?" Seohyun asked, her voice slightly edgy.
Heesica shrugged at the exact same time. Heechul put his arm around Jessica, and she made no move to shrug him off.
"What act?" Heechul asked, a sneaky smile on his face.
"We don't know what you're talking about," Jessica finished, the exact same smile appearing on her own face. She met Heechul's eyes, and
together they both turned around and walked away, leaving the two maknaes staring after them, completely blown away and confused.
"What just happened?" Seohyun said to Kyuhyun, her eyes blinking rapidly as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"For once, I have no idea...."

                                                                                     **********************************************

"Yah! How are we going to sneak past the guards?" Seohyun whispered, as they hid behind a corner of the building, looking at what they thought
to be the main entrance to the creepy looking building that supposedly held all their friends captive. Heechul was glaring angrily and wordlessly
at the men dressed in black strolling around the front, supposedly guards for the facility.
"You know it intrigues me..." Kyuhyun said quietly. "How the heck did they not hear all that screaming and ruckus our honourable hyung and
noona made before..."
Heechul squinted his eyes. "They've got headphones in their ears...." he reported.
Jessica stuck her head out above Heechul's, her eyes blinking rapidly and a strangely innocent look on her face.
"Maybe they're listening to music?" Jessica said suddenly, her tone completely innocent and childish.
Heechul collapsed at the stupidity of the sentence, while Seohyun did an epic facepalm and Kyuhyun stifling a laugh. Jessica simply kept
blinking and stared at everyone confused, wondering why they were reacting so explosively.
"She's back..." Seohyun murmured. She gestured for the foursome to focus their attention back on the guards. The all nodded and simultaneously
stuck their heads out, scouring the chilling scenery.
"Araseo....there's four of them there so we're not outnumbered but chances are they fully armed and likely trained for combat," Seohyun
investigated thoroughly. "The headphones in their ears prove that they have communication connections and are therefore able to call
for reinforcements at anytime, including at the very moment they see us."
"This would mean at that point we'd be hopelessly outnumber and our defenses would be useless against they're many attacks," Kyuhyun
continued. Seohyun turned to look at him intently. "There's definitely no chance we can take them because we're defenseless and I'm sure
none of us of have top level combat training."
Seohyun looked impressed at Kyuhyun's interpretation of the situation. "Omo...you like mysteries and detective stories?" she asked.
"Nah, I just play Starcraft a lot."
Any amount of respect Seohyun had for him in the moment was washed away completely as the sentence was uttered. She frowned at
him and turned back to look at the guards who were now talking casually to one another. Kyuhyun looked slightly ashamed and
embarassed at himself as he scratched the back of his head awkwardly.
"Jamkan man...what the heck did you two just say?" Heechul asked, an extremely confused look on his face. Jessica, who was standing
beside him, nodded innocently along. Kyuhyun and Seohyun exchanged inquisitive looks with each other.
Kyuhyun sighed in defeat. "We said none of us know any martial arts or anything, so there's no way we can beat them," Kyuhyun repeated.
Jessica looked at Kyuhyun, then turned back to Heechul, then to Kyuhyun, the back at Heechul again, blinking rapidly during the entire
process making Seohyun feel some inner rage boiling in her.
"Unnie," she sighed. "It's not that I don't miss the old you it's just that--"
"Did you just look down on the fabulous, legendary Kim Heechul?" Heechul said suddenly, standing up from his crouching position. He
straightened out his clothes.
Seohyun and Jessica looked at each other confused when suddenly Kyuhyun got an extremely horrified look in his face, showing more
emotion than had yet the entire time.
"Hyung...what are you thinking?" he asked cautiously.
Heechul smirked. "I may not know karate....but I do know CRAZY!!!!!" The last word came out dangerously loud.
"HYUNG, DON'T!" Kyuhyun yelled before he could help it.
But it was too late: Heechul had already jumped out right into the opening of the front gates where the guards could see him fully.
"YAH!" he yelled, completely catching full attention of every single of one of the guards standing there. "THE GREAT KIM HEECHUL IS
HERE!" He started flailing his arms around and making weird kung fu noises.
  "Oh sh*t..." Kyuhyun uttered.
Sica hit him on the arm. "YAH! MAKNAE HAS A POTTY MOUTH!" she yelled, louder than she meant it to be. She immediately covered up
in horror. Seohyun just glared angrily at the both of them.
"Who are you?" one of the guards asked Heechul in English, slowly pulling out the firearm that they were predicted to have. Their
expressions reflected the danger that Heechul was putting himself in, and no one knew how the heck Heechul would be able to get
out of this one.
Heechul blinked rapidly a few times, slightly confused, then smiled brightly and walked up to them. The guards, slightly flustered,
at Heechul's boldness, slowly raised their firearms. Heechul kept walking even though he had four gun nozzles aimed straight at him
as his three comrades looked on with wide-eyed terror.
"I command you to stop!" Jessica heard one of guards said fiercely. She flipped her head of blonde hair over to face Kyuhyun.
"Yah, does Heechul oppa know English?" she asked.
Kyuhyun just responded with a snort.
The three could do nothing but look on as Heechul walked closer and closer to the guards, his expression and stride unhesitant and
unfaltering. He had a determined look on his eyes, as if he actually had a plan. By now he was only a few feet away from the guards,
and even they were getting slightly intimidated at abnormally confident Heechul, for they were starting to step backwards slightly.
Suddenly, Heechul slapped the shoulder of the guard that had been doing all the talking and leaned on his shoulder.
"YO YO WASSUP MY BROTHAA?!" he spouted suddenly, with an extremely proud expression on his face.
The guards were completely blown away.
"Um...excuse me...?" one of them said. Kyuhyun, Jessica and Seohyun stared on with appalled expressions.
Heechul simply kept spouting out his rusty yet extremely loud English. "NICE WEADER!" he laughed. The guards were rendered speechless
and could only stare blankly at Heechul. Heechul suddenly raised his right hand. "TOUCH ME, BROTHA! TOUCH ME!"
The guard that'd done the most talking since then just continued staring at Heechul. "What--?"
"OKAY BROTHER!" said one of the guards standing behind him. He walked up and hi-fived Heechul's hand and even did a proud handshake
with him. The both of them grinned and held on to each other as if they were the bestest of friends while they other guards looked
 EXTREMELY confused.
"What the heck....?" Jessica said as she watched from the sidelines.
"That is one scatter-brained guard?" Seohyun questioned herself as the guard and Heechul gave each other props and Heechul kept spilling
out his messed English.
"What are the chances that Heechul hyung actually knows that guy?" Kyuhyun wondered. He narrowed his eyes as Heechul pulled the
guard closer to him. Since the guard's face was completely covered with the huge glasses and black hat, his identity was a complete mystery.
All he could make out was the pointed and rounded chin and a wide smile.
"Y--you know him?" the shortest guard stuttered.
"Dude, he's my bro..." Heechul's friend replied. Jessica's ears perked up as she realized the strange accent that one guard had...
"MY BROTHAA!!" Heechul roared as he hugged the guard tightly, lifting him off his feet. Kyuhyun, Jessica and Seohyun gawked not only
at the strange sight, but also at the fact that the guard was showing intense discomfort suddenly.
"How the heck is he doing this?" Kyuhyun whispered, completely in awe.
"Waah...Heechul oppa daebak...." Jessica admired as Seohyun threw her suspicion glances.
"Sica unnie, what is he saying?"
   "I have no idea."
   "BUOYA?!"
   "His English is terrible."
When Heechul finally dropped his "friend" down, he brushed off his clothes and pointed his finger at one of the tallest guard, also the
one who did the most talking before.
"You look a Nicholas Cage!" he smiled perkily.
"Excuse me?!" the guard exclaimed, while all the other guards snorted at the hilarity of the situation.
Heechul raised both of his hands and stepped backwards. "Don't get me lrong," he said in heavily accented Engrish. "My intentions were
gud." He gave a lopsided smirk intending to provoke him.
And it worked. The guard clenched his fists and took an angry step towards Heechul. "What is wrong with y--"
Heechul held up both his hands again. "Yah yah, personal spacesu!" he said obnoxiously.
The tall guard was just about to lunge at Heechul when suddenly the "friend" guard got in between them.
"Hey! Respect my friend!" he said, and pushed his own comrade away. The tall guard's expression could not be seen, but his body language
implied that he was annoyed.
"He seems suspicious to me..." the tall guard said.
"Why? He's just my friend, and he came to visit me," the other guard retorted.
"Why are you friends with such a nutcase?!"
   "He's not crazy!"
"Why is he meeting you here anyways?"
"Because I figured it'd best for the both of us!"
"The work we do here is strictly confidential! Why would you bring others here without the boss' permission first?!"
"He can't even speak English properly! What do you think he'll figure out?!" For some reason, at that one sentence, the tall guard
immediately became quiet.
"EXCUSE ME BROTHA!!!" Heechul hollered suddenly. "I NO UNDERSTAND!!" He nudged his friend guard playfully.
The tall guard suddenly stepped up, extremely close to the guard that was Heechul's friend.
"You're right, I don't understand either..." he murmured. He suddenly reached out and placed his right hand on the guard's head,
making him let out a surprised gasp.
"You don't seem to belong here," he said, in perfectly fluent Korean. He gave the glasses covering the guard's face and tore the hat
of his head suddenly, making him yelp, a yelp that was high-pitched and shrilly. Kyuhyun, Jessica and Seohyun gasped as they saw a
cascade of long, flowing, wavy black hair fell down from the crown of the guard's head, framing a lovely and feminine face.
   It was Tiffany.
"BUOYA?!" Kyuhyun and Seohyun screeched together, carefully maintaining their volume.
"Isn't she supposed to be captured?!" Jessica said.
"How did she sneak in amongst the guards?" Kyuhyun wondered
"I don't know, but this doesn't look very good..." Seohyun worried.
They turned their attention back to Tiffany, Heechul and three guards. The tall guard was now circling Tiffany like a vulture, while
the other two guards had raised their guns, and were aiming directly at Heechul and Tiffany. Jessica restrained the urge to jump out
and save Tiffany.
"Now, I don't believe you're one of us," he continued in Korean. He gently Tiffany's face, with a noticeable curious smirk on his
face. Her bothered expression restrained her urge to lash out at him. "You're too pretty, the boss lady would never let you in...Although
you did a good job of disguising yourself and sneaking in...." He twirled a lock of her dark hair playfully, as Tiffany was too petrified
to move or say anything.
Suddenly, Heechul came out of nowhere and slapped the guard's hand down.
"Yah, yah! Don't touch her!" Heechul yelled to the slightly flustered guard. His tone changed completely as he took hold of his
native tongue.
A smirk appeared on the guard's face again. "Nu guyah?" he said slyly."You're not her boyfriend, are you?"
Tiffany tensed over, as Heechul looked completely horrified for one moment, but then relaxed immediately. He put his arm around her
again and pulled her close, making her yelp. Seohyun thought she saw a red glint in Jessica's eyes for some reason.
"Ne, ne, she's my girlfriend, and she works here, and I missed her so much that I had to come here and visit her," Heechul said quickly.
Tiffany looked worried for a minute, but then caught sight of the guard's sudden evil scowl and immediately caught on.
"Ne, ne we love each other very much," Tiffany smiled forcefully, as she leaned closer to Heechul. The whole scheme was so obvious and fake
and completely out of the blue that both Kyuhyun and Seohyun wanted to get out there and shoot the both of them himself.
"Tiffany-unnie..." Seohyun groaned as she felt a strong brush of wind
The guard stared at the both of them as if they were crazy. "Are you kidding me?" he managed to say.
"YAH, TIFFANY HWANG!!!" came a shrill voice suddenly. Tiffany and Heechul's heads whirlled around. "HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL ME
YOU WERE GOING OUT WITH KIM HEECHUL?!!
   "JESSICA?!" Tiffany's eyes widened.
"THAT'S IT!" the tall guard yelled. He started cocking his gun again and gestured for the other two guards to do the same. He took the gun
and pointed it straight at Jessica, who was standing completely in the open.
"SICA, ANNYO!!" Heechul hollered, lunging to step between the gun and Sica.
All of a sudden, the guard's body seemed to arch backwards, and his knees seemed to buckle. The gun suddenly fell out of his hands, as if an
invisible force was dragging it out. His shoulders rolled forwards, and the rest of his body followed immediately. Heechul, Jessica and Tiffany
stared in awe as the guard collapsed to the ground, knocking his hat and glasses out of place to reveal a tough, square jawed face with
shocked, sharp eyes that were frozen in shock.
"Buoya...?" Heechul managed to whisper before his eyes managed to catch on to what had been behind the collapsed man.
It was one of the other guards, wielding a long black baton. Heechul and Jessica blinked a few times, then turned to Tiffany, who had a
teasing smile on her face.
"Aigo, you guys are so slow," a feminine voice sighed. She reached up and pulled off the hat that was covering up her face, revealing a short,
nicely cut head of brown hair. She removed her glasses to reveal a gorgeous pair of round and large eyes and pointed nose placed perfectly on
a kind and round face.
"SOOYOUNG?!!!" Heechul and Jessica shrieked in unison as Sooyoung smirked charismatically.
"Aish...I knew I couldn't count on Sica unnie to recognize her own unnies and dongsaengs," sighed another voice beside Jessica. The other
"guard" also took off her hat and glasses to reveal the unbearable childish and baby-faced Sunny, flipping her hair back and forth to get rid
of anything nasty that might've gotten in her hair.
"SUNNY?!!" Heechul and Jessica shrieked in unison once again.
"I can't believe you didn't recognize Tiffany's voice, unnie," Sunny scolded. "I think even Heechul oppa noticed."
Jessica looked completely trolled and at a loss for words.
"Buoya? Me?" Heechul spoke suddenly. "I just got Very lucky.."
Jessica, Tiffany, Sooyoung and Sunny all stared at him, blinking intently.
"What do you just say?" Sooyoung asked.
"You mean to say that you just acted like a madman and hugged a random guard without knowing it was an ally?" Sunny continued.
Heechul shrugged. "It's the way Kim Heechul rolls..." He spun his hand casually to emphasize his words.
Suddenly, Jessica walked up and grabbed a huge tuft of his hair and pulled hard, resulting in an angry cry from Kim Heechul.
"Your stupid actions could've killed us all, do you know that?" she scowled. She gave his head a hard shove, sending him straight to the
ground. Sunny, Sooyoung and Tiffany stared at Jessica in awe.
"What's gotten into her?" Sooyoung said.
"She was never like that before..." Sunny commented.
"She seems so...unbubbly...." Tiffany added, as she finally witnessed the scene of Kim Heechul and Jung Jessica raging at each other without
a care in the world.
"Ne, Jessica unnie has changed a lot," a demure voice from behind said. They whirlled around to see their cutie maknae Seohyun emerging
from the corner of the building, a greateful smile on her face. She pointed to Heechul and Jessica. "I suspect it's because of Kim Heechul."
Sooyoung, Sunny and Tiffany stared at Seohyun for a few moments, seemingly to confirm she was actually there. They blinked a few more
times, and then huge, wide smiles broke out on their faces.
"SEOHYUNNIE!!!!!!!!!!" the three of them screeched in unison, forgetting that they had just been kidnapped at the people who had kidnapped
just might still be around. The three of them spread their arms wide open and ran straight at the maknae, finally throwing their arms around
her and tackling her all at the same time.
Jessica looked away from her quarrel with Heechul. "Yah, yah, why didn't I get a greeting like that?" she complained, although the other
three were too busy squealing with the maknae to notice
"Easy," Heechul said. "It's because you have no friends."
  "YAH...!"
  And they were back.
"Omona, Seohyunnie, what are you doing here?" Tiffany asked as she rubbed Seohyun's head gently.
Seohyun laughed cutely. "I think I should be the one asking you that question. Weren't you guys supposed to be locked in?"
Sooyoung smiled as she patted Seohyun's arm. "We were, but then we escaped thanks to the amazing talents of two of us girls."
Seohyun's eyes and ears perked up as she scanned each of her unnies. "Who? Was it you two--"
Her words were caught in as she looked behind her three unnies. Emerging from the other side of the building, were her two
beloved unnies, Yoona and Yuri, both in their normal outfits and walking straight towards them.
"Yoona-unnie! Yuri-unnie!" she exclaimed as the two joined the group. She was about to throw her arms around Yoona and hug her, but
Yuri suddenly stopped her.
"Don't," she said. She gestured at Yoona's arm. "She's injured." Seohyun looked at Yoona's arm to notice that it was tied up tightly with some
fabric, but there was some red seeping through nonetheless. She looked up at her unnie's face to realize that it was paler than normal, and
her expression was tired and not as happy at it ought to be. She had been leaning against Yuri this entire time, as her own legs were too
weak to support her fully.
"Omona, Yoona-unnie, kinchena?!" Seohyun freaked as she flipped Yoona's arm gently back and forth.
Yoona forced a weak smile. "I'm fine, don't worry about it," she reassured.
Sooyoung stepped forward. "You better thank her, and Yuri unnie as well," she said. "Without those two, we may have never gotten out."
Seohyun looked completely amazed. "Omo! What did they do?"
Sunny stepped forward and flipped her hair casually. "Seduced the guards into letting them out."
Seohyun's amazed expression was wiped completely from her face immediately. "Jeongmal?" she said lamely.
"Ne, those guards are complete brickheads," Tiffany said. "As you can see, us three managed to knockout three of those goofballs and steal
their uniforms without getting injured at all. They may be able to hit people but they can't think for their own good....kind of like Jessica."
"YAH!" Jessica perked up yet another time from her argument with Heechul. She ran over to them immediately. "That's enough talking
behind my back. I'll stay here so you can't say anything." She took her place and squished in between Tiffany and Sooyoung. Heechul looked
confused and lost that the conversation had suddenly ended and stared after her, slightly dazed.
"Is that why Yoona-unnie got injured?" Seohyun asked.
"Annyo, this weird lady with blonde hair shot her arm in order to threaten us to keep still," Yuri replied.
Seohyun's eyes widened "You mean there are still people in there?!"
"Why wouldn't there be? There were at lest 50 guards in there and we only took out five or six."
Seohyun suddenly caught hold of Yuri's arm and started pulling on it. "Then we've got to get out of here--fast," she said. She
started running towards where she got in, pulling a shocked Yuri and a slightly flustered Yoona along. Tiffany, Jessica, Sunny and Sooyoung
looked startled for a moment, and then decided the best to do was just run after the three.
"Yah, yah, slow down! She's hurt!" Yuri yelled.
"We have to go before someone realizes we're missing!' Seohyun replied.
"YAH! YOU GUYS ARE PLANNING TO DITCH US?!" called a voice from behind them. Seohyun turned her head around to see Kyuhyun, who
was look slightly confused and slightly angry. Heechul was standing beside him.
"What's he doing here?" Yoona muttered.
"LET'S GO! They're going to notice we're gone any minute!" Seohyun called back. Kyuhyun and Heechul exchanged glances with each other
and finally decided to run after the girls. They headed towards the fence where Kyuhyun and Seohyun had climbed into the facility from
the beginning.
Seohyun started speaking in a serious tone. "Araseo, Kyuhyun and I got in here by climbing this fence--"
"You were with GameKyu?" Sooyoung smiled slyly. "Interesting...."
"NOW'S NOT THE TIME!" Seohyun roared, nothing like an innocent maknae normally would. She glanced at Kyuhyun, who was smiling
encouragingly at her. "Anyways, most of us can climb this fence here. The only problem is Yoona's arm....I'm not sure how she's going to get
over with her arm like that...."
"Oh that's fine, we can just pull her over with something...." Heechul said.
  "With what?!" Jessica retorted angrily.
"There's got to be a vine on that side of the forest somewhere."
"Vine it is!" Seohyun confirmed. Heechul smiled smugly as Jessica glared at him. "Alright then, everybody climb!" She gestured for her
unnies and oppas to go, and surprisingly obediently, they all rushed to the fence and preceded to do exactly so.
"Hold on a minute!" Tiffany called out suddenly. Seohyun looked back to see that Tiffany was standing right where she was. "Where's
Hyoyeon-unnie?"
Seohyun smiled. "It's fine, Hyoyeon is back in the city in the hospital tending our injured oppas. So come on."
Tiffany's face relaxed immediately. "Oh thank goodness...." she breathed. "Taeyeon-unnie's with her too, right?"
Seohyun's expression froze immediately. The rest of the girls seemed to notice instinctly as they all suddenly whirlled, their eyes fastened
on Seohyun.
  "Seohyun?" Tiffany said.
"A--annyo..." Seohyun said, barely audible. "Annyo...she's not..."
The entire atmosphere seemed to freeze over at that moment, the moment of realization that their most beloved unnie and their leader
was stilled trapped in the clutches of evil.
  "Omo, eotteoke!" Jessica gasped.
"We could try going back in...." Heechul offered.
"Annyo, there's no way we can do that," Kyuhyun said. "If we go in now, there's no way we can get out safely. Chances are, we'll all get
caught again. The best thing to do now is go back to Seoul as quickly as possible and then call for reinforcements from there."
"But wouldn't it be too late by then?" Sunny whimpered.
"Then we'll have to hurry," Seohyun said, as she started climbing again, this time faster than before. The others followed her lead and started
grappling on the fence.
  "Not so fast..."
There was a sudden yelp from behind them, as Seohyun whirlled her head around. Her blood froze over, and she could sense the ominous feel
past through amongst the rest of them as well.
  "Mary..." Seohyun heard Yuri whisper.
Seohyun's eyes were wide as she looked down to a blonde woman with fierce eyes surrounded by around 50 guards. Her arm was looped around
Yoona's neck, and was holding her tightly regardless of her desparate struggling. Her face was even paler than before, and her eyelids were on the
verge of closing.
"I suggest all of you get down here now....or else someone's going to get hurt," the lady sneered. She pulled tighter on Tiffany's neck, causing her
to let out a terrified cry.
"....just....go...." Yoona strained, desparate for a breath of air. "...I'm...fine..."
"Don't be stupid!" Yuri yelled. She jumped down from the fence and ran at the lady, fury in her eyes.
"YURI, ANNYO!!" Jessica yelled. But it was too late. The guards made no hesitation to grab onto Yuri's arms and legs and hold her tightly.
Yuri struggled desparately. "Let me go!" she shrieked. She managed to pull lose one of her legs, and she used it to kick one of the guards,
knocking him out and sending him to the ground.
"Now, now, be a good girl like you were..." the woman holding Tiffany said. She snapped her fingers with her other arm and another two guards
from the group ran forward, grabbing onto Yuri, restraining her completely. She couldn't move now that there were five strong men holding
onto her.
"Anyone else?" the lady smiled. Everyone else was too frozen to move, knowing that they were hopelessly outnumbered and doomed for
any chance of escape. The lady chuckled softly. "Come on now....we can do this the easy way or...if you'd like..." She snapped her leather
gloved fingers once again. All the remaning guards suddenly grabbed onto their firearms and pointed them straight at the escaped victims.
"...you can do when you're dead..."
Startled by the sudden guns pointed at her, Jessica shrieked as she lost her footing on the fence, sending her collapsing into the hard ground.
  "SICA!" Heechul yelled in horror.
As Jessica was about to stand up and tend to her bruises, the guards made no hesitation to come and grab onto her. Because she was already
hurt, she couldn't move much, and she let herself be taken by them and dragged next to Yoona and Yuri.
The lady removed her arms from Tiffany's neck and instead used them to hold her arms behind her back. Tiffany groaned as her arms were
suddenly being twisted into a painful position.
The lady nodded at Heechul. "How about you, pretty boy?" she said. "I know you want to join us."
"You witch..." Heechul scowled. But surprisingly, he obediently stepped off of the fence and stood right there and then, ready for the guards
to come and take ahold of him. One by one, the rest of the group stepped down from the fence only to be taken in by the guards. Kyuhyun
tried attacking them, but they only sent more in and held him down that way.
Seohyun was the last to step down. She hung on to the last loop of the fence, one foot touching the ground, once foot looped into the opening of
the fence.
"What are you going to do us?" she asked, surprisingly boldly.
The lady shrugged casually, as if this was nothing more than a friendly argument between co-workers at an office.
"Who knows?" she said airily. "Let's just say we'll be doing you a favour..." She suddenly took out a black gun from inside her jumpsuit and
aimed it straight at Seohyun.
"SHIRO!!" Kyuhyun and Yoona cried out at the same time.
"Quiet, you fools." The lady changed her target and suddenly pulled the trigger twice, hitting both Yoona and Kyuhyun. They looked stunned
a moment, but then their eyes closed subtly, and the guards holding let go of their limbs and sent them crashing to the floor. Devastated cries
rang out as they witnessed the terrifying scene.
"Relax..." the lady said after she finished shooting them. "Thye're just stun darts. Think of it as doing them a favour....they'll finally be able
to relax their minds from all this stress. And when they wake up..."
The lady brought her gun back to Seohyun. Her cold, blue eyes seemed to pierce into Seohyun's innocent, brown ones.
"...they'll be in another lovely place..."
The triggered was pulled and Seohyun felt a sharp prick in her side. Her eyelids started feeling heavy, and she could feel her arms and legs
lose their stability.
"SEOHYUNNIE, ANNYO!!!!" she could Sooyoung cry out.
   But she couldn't respond.
   So close....so close...
She felt herself hit the hard surface, although she could see nothing but blackness.
   Miahne......miahne....

Okay then, I hope I didn't put anyone to sleep with this disgustingly long update.

Yes, they're all captured because I'm secretly and Anti to both groups and want to metaphorically destroy them...
KIDDING!! ^^

Sorry about killing everyone lolz
I guess I just went overboard...
I promise the next update will (FINALLY!) be TaeTeuk, but please don't expect it too soon as I'm probably going to be busy in the
next few weeks. I promise I'll try though ^^

Anyways, this week will be a short random picture time since I'm actually at work (yes, I'm a bad person, updating my fanfic at work xD
no worries, I'm on break :P)

without further ado,
