Six months later

The three Kim sisters along with their father, Seohyun and her father and brother all gathered outside what was once the diner, now converted to the first restaurant of the KimSeo restaurant chain.

The red ribbon outside of the door was waiting to be cut by the giant scissors. The two fathers held either handle, tears in their eyes as they cut the ribbon, flashes of light invaded their vision.

Jea stumbled into Taeyeon, an uncomfortable feeling settling between her legs, and not the good kind. She turned to her younger sister, “Baby’s coming, call Narsha and drive me to the hospital.”

“THE BABY’S COMING?!” Taeyeon alerted the whole crowd with her exclamation, family was around them in an instant, hustling Jea into a car and calling Narsha who, upon answering, was in a frantic mess. A police car with Yuri in the driver’s seat gave them an to the hospital.

Lizzy sighed, staring into the room that harbored a comatose Tiffany, Jessica asleep in a chair next to the bed. A strong hand held onto her shoulder, she looked up and saw a man she had never seen before along with a woman next to him. They both entered the room and stared sadly at the bedridden agent and the lieutenant.

“Sooyeon. Sooyeon wake up.” The woman gently shook Jessica’s shoulder.

Jessica shot awake, reeling back in her seat to see the two intruders, people she had never seen before. “Who are you? What are you doing in here?”

“M-mom, dad.” Was heard, followed by a fit of coughing. Lizzy was in the room immediately getting water for the now awake Tiffany.

“She’ll be in and out for a while, but she’s awake and should stay awake.” Lizzy assured the three who were crowded around her.

“I love you, too.” Tiffany smiled at Jessica, a sight she had been without for far too long.

Boa stood at a podium in front of a sea of blue uniformed officers, Gyuri was too her right while the chief of police stood next to Gyuri.

“We are gathered here today to honor the woman next to me. She showed exemplary courage when faced with impossible odds. She not only stopped a terrorist organization, but she rescued hostages and survived imprisonment. Captain Park Gyuri, I present you with the highest honor I have the ability to present, the Medal of Valor.”

Boa stepped away from the podium, a bright smile on her face as she put the medal around Gyuri’s neck, applause assaulted their ears. The chief stepped up to the podium and Boa took his place next to Gyuri.

“As chief of police, I would like to formally promote Captain Park Gyuri to Deputy Chief.” There was more applause as the chief presented Gyuri with the recognition pin of Deputy Chief.

Before she could be called to make a speech, Sunghee had appeared out of nowhere latching onto Gyuri’s neck. Boa and the chief laughed from the surprised expression on Gyuri’s face.

Sunghee’s lips were on her ear, she whispered, “ time is now Deputy Chief Park.”

Gyuri’s eyes widened, stuttering before taking the younger’s hand and leaving as quickly as humanly possible, waving at the crowd.

“Kim Hyuna, do you take Heo Gayoon to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, till death do you part?”

Hyuna smiled at the love of her life, tears in both of their eyes. “I do.”

“And do you, Heo Gayoon, take Kim Hyuna to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, till death do you part?”

“I do,” Gayoon smiled back, squeezing the younger’s hands.

The minister smiled between the two of them. “By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you: wife and wife, you may kiss the bride.”

Jiyoung let out a relieved sigh as the brides attacked each other at the altar, cheers in the room. The wedding planner could finally breathe, everything had gone perfectly after months of planning and preparation. Gayoon made sure to recommend her to all of her teammates. Jiyoung would be happy with that as long as they weren’t as crazy as the now married couple.

Narsha had been assigned to be the human punching bag for the woman in labor. Jea had been screaming at her, blaming her for her pain until they gave her the magic injection that stopped her pain.

After only three hours of labor, a beautiful baby girl was brought into the world. As she was being taken to the infant care center, Jea whispered the baby’s name.

“Gain.”
