AN: I is sorry for taking forever. All of a sudden, inspiration overcame me to start writing yet another fanfic but don’t worry I will focus on this one since the other one has a fan population of like…3 and an armada reads this so ye. You guys are my numero uno even if you’re a bunch of freeloaders. This chapter is rushed and so will the next two be. And then we get to funtimes. This one’s a boring chapter for me. Moving Out

Taeyeon had left work early that day, she knew Sunny was coming home and she wanted to make sure she had enough time to sort through her feelings. She had cheated on her girlfriend with the city’s resident player. Everyone knew of Park Jiyeon’s reputation, most had assisted in the woman getting said reputation.

The middle daughter had an empty feeling as the time of Sunny’s arrival came closer and closer. Part of her didn’t even want to tell her girlfriend about her infidelity, but she knew she had to. She wouldn’t be able to look herself in the mirror ever again if she didn’t.

As she sat her resolve grew weaker and weaker until she heard the front door unlock. She didn’t even bother looking up as the door swung open and Sunny stumbled in the front door carrying her small suitcase and her equipment bag. She dropped everything she was holding onto the ground before closing the door and locking it. Her eyes searched the house for any sign of her girlfriend, the only light that was on was in the living room.

Inside the living room she saw her girlfriend staring blankly at the chair across from her. “TaeTae?”

Taeyeon didn’t even look in her direction when she spoke. “I slept with Jiyeon.”

“You what?” Sunny rubbed at her ears, thinking she heard her girlfriend wrong.

“I love you, and I slept with someone else.” Taeyeon finally made eye contact with Sunny, tears were falling from her despondent eyes. Sunny could see the regret in her eyes.

Before Sunny could say anything else, Taeyeon was gone. She left their home without a second glance. The athlete sunk to the floor, unable to process the information her brain was now receiving.

Her subconscious took over and carried her to a loft she had only been to a few times, inside was someone she knew would always support her. She knocked on the door through her blurry vision, only now realizing that she had been crying.

The door opened and she was immediately engulfed in a tight embrace. “What happened?”

“Taeyeon she,” Sunny paused to sob before continuing, “she slept with Jiyeon.”

Realization finally sank in that Taeyeon had cheated on her. Hyomin’s gaze hardened when she heard that Jiyeon was the cause of her beloved’s pain. She knew which Jiyeon it was because there was only one Jiyeon it could possibly be. Hyomin tried to be ignorant of the younger woman’s ‘prowess’ but this had drawn the line.

Park Jiyeon had hell to pay for hurting Lee Soonkyu, and Hyomin had made it her personal mission to make sure the Sergeant knew of the pain she has caused. If only Gyuri was there to watch over Sunghee so that she could pay a visit to the Sergeant.

After dropping Sunghee off with her sister, Gyuri rushed over to her Lieutenants house for a much needed release of emotions. She stopped caring about the tears streaming from her eyes, as long as Sunghee wasn’t the one to see them.

She knocked on the door without hesitation. Several moments later, the door opens to reveal the younger Jung looking overtly happy. “Captain?! What are you doing here??”

“Is the Lieutenant here?” Gyuri ignored the Detective’s question, trying to look around her only to see the familiar face of Hyomin’s team manager.

Krystal opened the door to allow Gyuri to enter while the Detective went in search of her sister.

Without knocking, Krystal entered her older sister's room to find the woman asleep half on half off of her bed. A malicious grin settled on her features.

Jessica's legs that were dangling on the side of the bed were yanked at, sending the woman flying face first into the ground. "You are dead." She glared at the other Jung.

The youngest sibling ran out of the room and shrunk down to hide behind Gyuri. "Krystal what the hell are you doing?" The Captain looked behind her at the younger Jung.

"I unleashed the kraken. Save me!" Krystal breathed out, Gyuri just laughed at the girl. Something she hadn't done in a while.

The door to the bedroom slammed against the wall. “Jung Soojung! Where are you?!”

All rage dissipated when she saw her sister standing behind their superior officer while Sulli hid behind couch cushions. ”Gyuri? What are you doing here?”

“I need to talk with you.” Gyuri frowned when reminded of why she came. The scene preceding this had lightened her mood.

Jessica nodded, Krystal came out of hiding and jumped over the couch to land on Sulli. “We should go to the office. These two are like rabbits in heat.” I’m also fairly certain my room has been bugged.

The Captain shrugged and followed her Lieutenant out of the house. The ride was quick, like almost all rides in the small city.

The two remained quiet until they entered Gyuri’s office, locking the door and closing the blinds. The two took seats opposite of each other.

“I’m cleared for field duty.” Jessica knew what this meant.

“He won’t come after you again. You don’t need to be afraid.” Jessica reached out to comfort the woman, which she hesitantly accepted.

Gyuri sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose before continuing. “It’s not me I’m worried about. What if he goes after Sunghee and I’m not there to protect her.”

"Gyuri, you're the best of the best. He won't touch her." Jessica spoke with sincerity. She knew that the Captain was afraid for herself as well as Sunghee.

"I don't trust myself to protect her if anything happens. I can't go through that again. Not when she's there." Gyuri's body began to shake like before. Images of what had been done to her plagued her mind, only this time it was Sunghee instead of her.

Rage overtook her, gripping at the arms of the chair until her knuckles turned white. "Hey, nothing will happen to either of you. He moved on remember? He lost interest because you became stronger, instead of weak and broken like he wanted. You're better than this; you're better than fear."

Gyuri laughed sadly. "When did you become so motivational?"

Jessica stared blankly at the Captain, motivational? “I don’t know.”

The two sat in silence for the rest of their time there, their minds focusing on the two important women in their lives. One would risk anything for the other, the other one knew that everything was being risked for them.

Hyoyeon and JeA fidgeted at the dinner table, both nervous about what has been on their minds. The oldest daughter thought back to what caused this anxiety.

*Flashback*

Hyuna had left JeA in the care of her wife so that she could attend her division’s meeting with Jiyeon. Taecyeon had gone home after congratulating the newly wedded couple.

“Alone at last.” Narsha faced her wife with a mischievous grin planted firmly on her face.

“Not quite, we’re in a public setting and I have to go home.” The doctor pouted causing a smile to form on the Kim’s face before she leaned over and kissed the pout.

“Then move in with me.” Narsha stated bluntly, a blush formed on JeA’s features.

“W-why?” JeA avoided eye contact but found it hard when Narsha stepped in front of her view.

“I want you to be the first thing I see when I wake up.”

*End Flashback*

Hyoyeon sat there, playing with her food. She just wanted to move out, there was no underlying motive to do so. “Mom, Dad, I’m moving out.”

“Me too!” JeA added, thankful that her sister had the courage that she lacked in that moment.

The two parents looked at each other, then at their children. “Hyoyeon you are free to move as long as you come back to visit.”

Hyoyeon fist pumped in the air, her cheer died down from the glare her sister sent her.

“Hyojin,” their father started, “Are you planning on moving in with Taecyeon?”

JeA froze, she hadn’t thought that far into the plan. She had no idea how was she going to hide that she was moving in with her secret wife whom she is also having a baby with. Her head whipped to focus on her mother. “Mom! I need to talk to you right now. Privately.”

The two stood up, Hyoyeon and Daeho looked on in confusion as they were left alone.

Once the two were secluded where JeA felt that the other household occupants couldn’t hear them she started: “Mom. I-I’m pregnant.”

“YOU WHAT?!” Miniji shouted at the top of her lungs, JeA instantly clamped her hands over her mother’s mouth. After the initial shock, the elder woman finally calmed down enough that her daughter could remove her hand. “Is it Taecyeon’s?”

JeA shook her head,  a small smile forming on her features as she thought about the mother of her baby. “Then who the hell is the father?”

The eldest daughter was expecting her wife to appear out of nowhere and proudly proclaim the paternity of the baby growing in JeA. Sadly, no magically appearing doctors were in her home.

“Doctor Park is the father,” a pause, “And my wife.”

Minji was beaming, “Celebrate now. Ask questions later!”

The mother engulfed her daughter in a diaphragm squeezing hug. JeA was being shaken around and that was not good for the growing child in her. “Mom, stop. Baby in the oven remember.”

“Right.” The woman released her daughter, patting her shoulder.

“Don’t tell anyone though okay? Narsha, Taec, and I have this elaborate plan to get back at dad for his meddling.”  

“So you’re moving in with Doctor Park?” Minji asked, receiving a shy nod for an answer.

“She’s expecting me home soon so I should probably get going. Tell dad and Hyo I said bye.” Before Minji could answer, the eldest daughter was out the door.

The woman returned to her husband and daughter, informing them that JeA had gone an unnamed friend’s house. The two other occupants shrugged off the information as they sat and talked about nothing in particular.

A door creaking open interrupted their light conversation. Into the dining room came a down-trodden Taeyeon.

“I’m moving back in.” Was said before the woman retired to her room to sleep away the guilt she felt.
