Just like the loud cheering of the Korean people for the Olympics, Tao and Luhan were jumping up and down, chanting in delight, as they swirled with each other, grinning like little kids who just received the biggest candy ever. IU couldn’t help but giggle at the two. Completely unaware of their two other friends she didn't share the same kind of reaction as them, Tao and Luhan rushed to her side, held each of her hand, and having their celebratory dance, as they looked at her excitedly. IU couldn’t help but feel gleeful, as the two eagerly talked about plans they might do.

Kris dashed towards her, “Are you sure about this?” Just like earlier, he was completely against, surely because it'll only endanger her more.

She nodded. She was sure, after thinking for four hours, she was absolutely positive about being their assistant. This was it, and this time, IU was sure to fight head-on and just have faith in herself.

“You do know the consequences right?” He asked, looking sterner than before. It gave the man chills just remembering the site of her, looking bruised and beaten. He never wanted to see her like that again, none of them wants to. EVER.

She nodded again, this time, she was smiling. “Don’t worry Kris. I’m actually stronger than I look.”

“Yea Kris, stop being such a worrywart!” Luhan mocked as he hitched his arm around his neck and pulled him closer to the circle. 

“Welcome then,” he said, and this time she had a genuine smile on his face.

“Thank you.”

“Hey Yixing! Aren’t you going to come here and welcome IU?” Luhan scolded him. IU even forgot that there was another presence in the far side of the room. Dark aura swirls around him, as she glanced up at him.

Yixing didn’t answer, the four of them, putting down his guitar, he stared at the four of them. His eyes focused on IU. “Why would I congratulate someone who just put herself nearing her death?” He said icily.

“You-“ Luhan started but his friend cut him off.

“Good luck IU, hope you don’t get killed,” he said before he turned towards the door.

“Ignore him.” Tao said, and IU obeyed. She was happy with her decision, and she won’t let anyone ruin her happy mood right now, not even Yixing’s brooding mood is enough to kill her happy bubble right now.  She was always a little creature finding for her niche and for the first time, in her entire life, she was hoping she’ll fit with the four of them.

Though the four boys were extremely delighted about her decision, Kris’ predictions turned into reality. For the last remaining days of the week, their looks became more menacing, and even their words were getting harsher.

Unlike before, she walked the hallways head-on, with a full-on grin on her face. She knew it was bound to happen, and she had prepared herself about it already. Though her worst premonitions have been crushed, e.g. the dreadful encounter she had with her decapitated desk, the four other people makes her days seem worthy.

 She was both surprised and exhausted as she saw how active her ‘boss’ really were. Turns out, Yixing and Kris didn’t only focus on their group, but also on basketball. The two of them are the aces of the school team. And just like the other two, Luhan and Tao were also the stars in their respective sports.
