Smile, YiXing!“Just go talk to him,” Tao said as he found her sulking inside the library. After hearing Luhan’s news, she couldn’t sleep the whole night, she cried herself to sleep, her eyes were swollen the next morning. She still hasn’t seen him, and she was having second thoughts of seeing him. IU couldn’t understand why, but she felt betrayed hearing about it later than others. But what hurts her most was him leaving her.
“I don’t want to,” she grunted angrily. “I hate him, and I don’t want to see him right now,” she answered as she crossed her arms and turned to the window.
“Why?”
That one question ticked her off. She asked, if didn’t she even have any right to hate him. Can’t she be angry for how things are falling off again. With her blood boiling, she couldn’t even control her emotions anymore, “Because I do! Because he didn’t tell me sooner! Because he’s leaving me!” She had enough, and before she could even stop herself, she started crying. “He’s leaving me, I don’t want him to go.”
“Neither do we, but we’re not throwing a fit,” Tao retorted harshly at her, but IU hold back her tongue, letting her anger out through her waterworks. “But haven’t you thought that maybe Luhan needs to go too?”
“What?!” She turned to face him, getting more furious by his word. What in the world was he telling? She asked herself. Why in the world would he need to go to Korea? It sounded preposterous.
“Didn’t you even think he needed this to be away from you?” He asked. Tao recognized how she slowly realized what she was talking about. “Didn’t you even realize how much he’s hurting every time he sees you with Yixing-ge?”
“Luhan…” She whispered. Her anger disappeared, and was replaced by another emotion… Remorse. She felt selfish, not even taking notice of how Luhan was feeling about this. She didn’t even take enough time to let him explain, and she didn’t even realize how hurt maybe he was about everything. She looked up to Tao, and run towards him, craning her arms around his neck. “Thanks Tao.”
He patted her back, and smiled and whispered against her hair. “No problem IU. You know I’m always here,” he said so sweetly.
“Don’t leave me too okay?”
He chuckled. “If I do, I’ll give you a 6 months’ notice,” he joked, earning a laugh from the lady.
“That would be nice,” she smiled.
Luhan was about to get out of the practice room. He wanted to talk to IU, but seeing how much she was avoiding him after last night, he let it go, and decided to try his luck tomorrow. He knew he was at fault, since she looked surprised and sad when he broke the news. Sighing he was about to open the door, when it flew open,
