My Strange Oppa
On a bright February Sunday, you received a call from Jinyoung.
“Halmoni says halboji is getting sicker and sicker.” Jinyoung sighed, worry thick in his voice.
You frowned; you can hear how disappointed he was. “It’s alright, we can go next time…” *Wait, what am I talking about? My time here in Korea is running out.*
A light bulb immediately switched on top of Jinyoung’s head. He brightened up and asked, “are you busy today ~~~~~?”
“Nope.” You shook your head. “Finished all my homework.”
You could already imagine Jinyoung rolled his eyes with a smile as he said, “Great! Would you Sang ~~~~~~ want to go on a date with the oh so awesome Jung Jinyoung?”
Suddenly, a huge lump of sorrow filled your throat. You swallowed it hard. “Today? You don’t have work with your aunt today?”
*Oops, I wasn’t supposed to spill that I know.* You quickly stopped talking.
Jinyoung didn’t register that thought. “Nope! I’ll pick you up in an hour, baby!”
With a click, Jinyoung hung up.
You still had the phone next to your ear. With a light sigh, you gently pulled it down. *How will I tell you that I’m leaving you?*
