“Wake up now Minah!” A voice said while shaking my left arm.

I lazily opened my left eye. It was Hyerin. My eyes widened.What is she doing in my room?! Ahh. Right. I'm a girl now.  I should get used to it. I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

“I’m awake. You can go now.” I said as I smiled.

“You should take a bath now. I already prepared breakfast.” She said as she went down.

I sighed. I just have to get used to this. I thought as I went down too and grabbed my clothes from the drawer and headed to the bathroom.

“I’ll wait for you today!” I heard Hyerin said cheerfully as I went inside the bathroom. I just the shower and took a bath.

At school,

I was instructed by my teacher to wait outside the room since she’s going to present me to the class and I just have to wait for her signal so that I can come inside.

Inside the classroom,

 “Okay class, we have a new student today and she’s really cute!” The teacher squealed.

The class became noisy and started blabbering.

“I wonder how long her hair is.”

“Is she really cute? I wanna see her!”

“How big are her eyes? Is she wearing contact lens?”

“Is she a model?”

“Is she taken?”

“Okay. Quiet down or she’ll be scared. Minah, come in now and introduce yourself” the teacher said.

I went inside and felt their eyes fixed on me and my every move.

“I’m Choi Minah. Pleased to meet you everyone.” I said femininely as I bowed.

Then, they squealed. So, I’m a girl and girls still like me too. I’ll brag this to my mom. I thought.

“For your seat, there are no more seats vacant seats but only those at the back. Please sit there.” The teacher commanded me.

I bowed and went to my seat. The farthest seat from the board.

I sat down arranged my books and tried to be feminine.

This is life. Sitting in the farthest seat is my dream. Teachers won’t notice whether I’m asleep or not, and whether I’m eating. I thought as a smile crept up to my face.

Then, I remembered Hyerin. She said she belongs to this class. Where is she? I thought. I scanned the whole room.

And after a few seconds, I found her.

She was sitting at the third row beside the window. She’s wearing glasses. She looks like a nerd but still, she’s cute.

I wonder if I can see Naeun at lunch time. I have to see her. We have to be friends. I thought as I smiled.

After 3 hours,

The bell for lunch rang.

Everybody stood up from their seat and went to me.

They started babbling about girly stuff. And the thing that is that, I could not relate. I am a guy.

So, I just kindly excused myself from them and went to the School Cafeteria. Then, I saw Hyerin.

She’s the only I know here in this school so I tried to catch up to her.

But, as I ran towards her, I accidentally bumped a girl.
