At our classroom,

I noticed that Hyerin is avoiding me. Whenever I try to talk to her she’ll talk with her seatmate, completely ignoring me. And I felt really sad about it.

For sure she’s still affected because of what happened last night. I’ll talk to her later about it.

At our dorm,

I was the first one to arrive.

I was thinking about where should I be. On my bed? On my table? Or should I pretend that I’m from the bathroom?

Just then I heard the door clicked.

I quickly sat on my chair and pretended to read a book.

She went inside and went straight to the bathroom as soon as she saw me.

*She’s really avoiding me.* I thought.

Few seconds later, she went out.

“Hyerin I think—“

“I forgot something inside.” She reasoned out as she went inside again.

I sighed.

Few seconds later, she went outside again.

“Hyerin we---“

She turned around and was about to go inside the bathroom again.

“You’ll seriously regret it if you go inside again.” I threatened.

She closed the door with a sigh. “I was going to close the door properly.” She reasoned out.

“About last night---“

She turned around but still, she didn't face me. “Did you already eat? I’m kinda hungry.” She said while clutching her stomach.

I ignored what she was saying. “Last night what---“

“Ahh. I’m so sleepy. I wanna sleep.” She yawned.

“YAH!!”

“Why don’t we go outside? Or maybe I should just go alone.” She said as she headed to the door. She’s not even bothering to look at me.

“I don’t really care about how other people will interact with me and such. But…it’s not that I’m observing you..But lately, you’ve been avoiding me.” I said as I walked towards her.

She did not reply. But she started to walk away.

“Why are you avoiding me?” I asked as I held her wrist and stopped her.

“Me? Avoiding you? It’s only your imagination.” She said while trying her best to look away from me.

“Then face me.” I ordered.

She just sighed.

“Let’s talk about last night.” I said.

“I don’t want to.” She shook her head.

“Then what? You’ll avoid me? That’s not the answer to our problem.”  I argued.

*And I’ll be hurt if you avoid me.*

She kept silent.

“It was an accident. Besides you’re drunk. Let’s just…forget about it.” I suggested.

“It may be very easy for you to forget because maybe you’ve kissed tons of girls before but..to me it’s a big deal. I’ve done something extremely embarrassing.” She confessed.

“That’s not true. That..was the first.” I mumbled shyly.

“See? It’s even more embarrassing.” She said as she sighed and covered her face with her hands in embarrassment.

“Let’s just think of it as….a…sign of our friendship.” I said.

She remained silent.

“Don’t feel embarrassed anymore. And don’t ever try to avoid me.” I warned.

She just pouted and tried to smile.

I guess that solves it.
