A few years ago, while I was cutting classes and taking a nap under a tree, I heard someone crying. I tried to ignore it but the sound becomes louder every second. I sat up and tried to follow the sound. The crying sound led me to a very famous girl in our school.

Park Jiyeon.

She was famous because she’s beautiful. She’s rich. And she has a not so good attitude that’s why no one tries to befriend her.

I faked a cough so that she will notice me. And it worked. She looked up at me and I handed her my handkerchief. She was hesitant to take it so I just put it in her hands.

“Go wipe your tears away.” I said coldly.

She glared at me. “Why are you here? Are you one of my stalkers?” She asked as she used my handkerchief to wipe her tears away.

*Big Star Attitude as always.* “I’m not. I was cutting classes.” I answered as I looked away.

After that, I heard her cring again.

“Why are you crying?” I asked her. Not that I care for her. It's just.. irritating. Her cry sounds like a sea lion. A dying sea lion.

“Those es are bullying me. They are jealous because all the boys like me.” She said with furrowed brows.

“Not all.” I said as I looked away.

She looked really shocked when she heard what I just said.

“Why?” I asked her.

“Look at me.” she demanded.

So, I did.

“What do you see?” She asked.

“A Park Jiyeon who just finished crying.” I answered.

“That’s not what I mean!” She exclaimed.

“Then what?” I asked completely not getting her point.

“Do you…. not like me?” She asked.

I chuckled. “I don’t.” I answered.

“You’re lying. Every guy I met falls in love with me.” She said.

“Well, let’s just say that doesn’t work for me.” I answered as I smiled.

After, hearing what I said, she smiled and stood up.

“My dad told me before that I should go for a guy who doesn’t like me.” she said as she smiled.

I just stared at her.

I don’t want to argue with a girl who just finished crying.

I don’t want to be the reason why a girl cries.

So, I just quietly listened to her.

“And that person is you!” she said happily while pointing a finger to me.

“One day, I’m seriously going to marry you! And then, we’ll live happily. Don’t forget this!” she threatened me as she walked away from me.

I seriously thought everything she said was a joke.

But after that day, she started calling me “Oppa” and declares herself as my girlfriend.

But I didn’t care. Girls are always delusional. So I just let her babble about what she thinks.

But I never thought that she was serious about telling me she’s going to marry me.

I should’ve said what I was thinking.

Or maybe I shouldn’t just lend her my handkerchief.

No. This is the result of my cutting classes.
