Perfection.

One simple word that entirely describes Seungwan's gorgeous best friend, Bae Joohyun.

Joohyun is seated right in front of Seungwan, she came over to Seungwan's apartment for New Year's Day. 

To think that I will be spending the end of the year with you, it's unreal.

Joohyun: So, Seungwan. It's close to hitting midnight, we still have 10 minutes left, what should we do?

They both lock eyes with one another as Seungwan thinks to herself. Then an idea pops into her head.

Seungwan: Hmm… how about we sit outside on the balcony to watch the fireworks go off? We can talk in the meantime.

Seungwan gets slightly anxious because this talk will be important, her last wish of the year. She watches Joohyun smile at her and nod as she stands up, holding her cup of wine and Seungwan follows behind Joohyun.

As they enter the outside, they are hit with a cool breeze. Seungwan takes a small deep breath. 

A night to remember.

Seungwan: It feels so night out here.

They sit comfortably on the chairs set out as Seungwan places her cup of wine down, she looks up to see Joohyun slightly hugging herself. She gets up and takes her jacket off, she places it over Joohyun. 

The gesture slightly takes Joohyun aback, she couldn't help but feel herself blush. As she is hit with a comforting smell of Vanilla. A smell she always seemed to enjoy whenever she passed by a similar scent.

Joohyun: It is nice and thank you, Seungwannie.

Seungwan smiles as she blushes as well, she clears and drinks a bit of her wine.

Seungwan: Ahem— so, um… anyone special in your life yet, Unnie?

Joohyun chokes on her wine as she was sipping, she hits her chest gently as she recovers from the shock of the question.

Joohyun: W-Wait— that was so sudden.

Seungwan couldn't help but laugh at Joohyun's reaction, she nods as she laughs and then sighs in content.

Seungwan: I'm sorry, Unnie. I wanted to have a deep conversation with you, I hope you don't mind.

Seungwan softly smiles at Joohyun, it tugs a string on Joohyun's heart. A feeling Joohyun has never dipped herself into. Joohyun nods as she sits up a bit, smiling softly back. 

That smile… you are killing me, Bae Joohyun.

Joohyun: So… Hm, there's no one on the table. I haven't found "the one" yet? But I'm waiting for them.

Joohyun watches Seungwan take a drink again as she nods. Curiosity killing Joohyun as well at that moment.

Joohyun: So, um, how about you? Have you found someone?

Joohyun watches Seungwan slightly stiffen, as she, herself, is feeling her heartbeat quicken, what answer is she exactly expecting from Seungwan? She doesn't know, but that was answered by Seungwan herself. An answer Joohyun didn't expect could hurt her.

Seungwan: Yes, I have found someone. I'm in love with them, Unnie.

They lock eyes and Joohyun knows Seungwan is being honest. Even if she lied, the eyes could never hide the truth. Eyes of someone in love, but who was that person?
