NO ONE'S POV

Jeongyeon hasn't seen Nayeon for a while, the girl got swamped with work she couldn't even visit the gym. Well, it's not like she's looking for her. It just feels different without Nayeon around.

JY : "Docccccccc!"

MN : "Wae? Wae?"

JY : "Tonight! 8 pm!"

MN : "Are you inviting me or forcing me?"

JY : "I don't want to hear a no. So yeah, maybe I am forcing you. Is there a problem with that?"

MN : "If I say yes then what?"

JY : "Nothing. It's not like I'm gonna change my mind. I'm gonna go home, I'll pick you up 8 pm sharp!"

MN : "Arraso, just so you know I'm not riding that motorcycle of yours."

JY : "Ehhhhh?"

MN : "We can use my car once you get to my place."

JY : "But that defeats the purpose of me treating you."

MN : "Just buy me gas then it'll be your treat too haha."

JY : "Arraso Ms. Myoui, I'll see you soon."

MN : "Hai."

Although Mina knows it's nothing more than a friendly date she's still happy to spend time with Jeongyeon. She was too excited she spends hours and hours looking at the mirror. Changing clothes and trying different hairstyles. She was running out of time and thought she should just settle with a simple blouse and her hair tied up. Knowing Jeongyeon, there's a big possibility that the girl would take her to a street food cart and call it dinner.

Well, It doesn't matter as long as she's with Jeongyeon.

It was 10 minutes passed 8 and mina didn't want to call jy. She didn't want to look desperate to the taller girl. She sat in the living room waiting for someone to knock on her door.

*INCOMING CALL : YOO JEONGYEON*

MN : "Finally! Where are you? You're already 30 minutes late Ms. Yoo."

JY : "Hey Mina...."

There was this long pause after Jeongyeon said her name. Somehow she feels something wasn't right.

JY : "I don't think I'll make it there anytime soon."

MN : "What happened? Are you okay?" She asked worriedly.

JY : "Relax, I'm fine.. I was on my way when I got a call from Hyuna unnie, she said Nayeon is passed out in her bar. I'm gonna pick her up and I'll drive straight there."

MN : "Jeong let's just call it a night."

JY : "Ehhh but we made plans."

MN : "It's fine, I need to work early tomorrow."

JY : "I'm really sorry Mina, I'll make it up to you."

MN : "It's okay Jeong.. Just take care."

JY : "Arraso. Thanks and I'm really sorry."

*END OF CALL*

Mina started to feel something cold run down her spine. Of course, if it comes down to Jeongyeon choosing between Nayeon and her or even with everyone.

Jeongyeon would still choose the older girl.

[BAR]

Jeongyeon came into the familiar place, she looks around and found the older girl sleeping on the bar. It was funny that it's the same place she loves to sit.

HA : "There you are. Sorry, she wouldn't let me call her a taxi or Jihyo. She said she'll only go if you pick her up."

JY : "That's fine, how long have it's been?"

HA : "Maybe an hour. She just came here and started chugging, like how you used too hahaha."

JY : "Can't blame her the alcohol here tastes better than any place haha."

HA : "And that's a fact. I'm going I have to do something. I'll leave her to you."

JY : "Arraso."

JY : "Hey lets go home." she said patting the older girl back.

Nayeon stood up and looked at her.

JY : "Aren't you having way too much fun? Let's go home."

NY : "Jeongie?? You look really good."

JY : "Hai, hai. Can you walk???

Nayeon nodded back and followed Jeongyeon out to her motorcycle, the whole trip back to her apartment was quiet. It almost feels like the wind is putting her to sleep.

The taller girl then walks her up to her place.

JY : "Make sure you lock the door."

NY : "Hai, hai.."

JY : "Go straight to bed and sleep."

NY : "Hai, hai."

JY : "Arraso, I'm going."

NY : "Hai, hai. I love you Jeong." She said while looking dead in her eyes.

Out of nowhere the older grabbed the back of her head and mashed her lips against her. It's maybe because she was taken by surprise that she didn't move, that she didn't do anything to stop the long and warm kiss. Those are things she'll say if it's days ago but by this time Jeongyeon already knows why she let the older girl kissed her.

Jeongyeon loves to lie,

That's why when Nayeon asked her if they could have another chance all she did was say things and not answer her question. The question was simple, in fact, she could've just shut her down with a no but she, herself wasn't even sure what's the answer to Nayeon's question at the time.

And Nayeon just went on her way  like there was nothing wrong with what happened. She was about to close the door when Jeongyeon held it open.

JY : "I wanted to believe in you."

Nayeon looks at how Jeongyeon gradually loses her smile.

JY : "I wanted to believe in everything you said, I wanted to believe that we can still be together, that our story is not over yet. How sweet it would be if we could pick up from where we left? But how? How do I take the worries away? How do I trust someone who broke me once? Who left me? How do I do it without being scared of things happening the same way it did before?"

"There's no point in saying I forgot about the feelings, that I don't love you anymore. Because I do, I always do. Just like you, I never stopped loving you but I don't think it's enough reason to continue what we started. Because this love and that love of yours are the same love we have when you left me. The same love that broke us."

"I want it so bad it's almost breaking me apart, again. I don't want you to be the one that got away, not again Nayeon. I wouldn't make it if it happens again. That's why if you don't plan to stay, this time please let me go properly. Say your goodbyes and tell me why. Because I don't know what I'll do if you disappear like how you did last time. So please before you say that you love me again, think about it."

"If you're not gonna see this through, you might as well not start it."

Jeongyeon shuts the door after that. She's not even sure if Nayeon would remember it after tonight but at least she finally said what she's been thinking. Because when Nayeon asked her, all she wanted to do was answer her with a yes but the fear slowly creep into her. She started worrying about things. The truth is,

Yoo Jeongyeon is scared of history repeating itself.
