His son comes running at him.

All sweaty and messy.

Traces of chocolates left on his hands.

Despite being tired, he picked him up.

“Who’s my best boy?” he asked. To which the little boy laugh and hugged his neck, “Yuding!! Yuding is daddy’s best boi”

Sakura laughs and kissed his cheek, “Urghh Yuding smells. Did Yuding take a bath yet?”

Yuding (Read: Yujin) laughed.

“Nwooooo. Yuding wait for daddy!” Yujin gave his eyesmile to his daddy.

“Yudingie just dont want to bath Daddy know” he squinted his eyes and scrunched his nose, looking at his loud son.

 

 

His wife suddenly comes out the kitchen, smiling.

“Yuding don’t bother daddy. Go take a bath”

Yujin crossed his arms, pouting “No! Yuding wants to bath with daddy! Daddy said daddy will bath with Yuding”

“Ehhh???” Sakura dumbfounded.

His wife was glancing at him hard.

That soft features are forming stern look.

“Yuding goes upstairs first. Daddy will come soon. Choose what you want to wear tonight” he put down his son.

Yujin with his tiny fists grabbing his daddy’s pants jumped. “Can Yuding wear the penguin pyjama?” his eyes sparkles.

This has been a 3 days streaks of him wearing that pyjama. His mummy have to wash it everyday. We shall call this Pyjama Hattrick.

 

 

“But Yuding you’ve worn that thrice” 

“No rice! Yuding want pingu shirt!” Yujin pouted.

Melting Sakura’s heart. “Okay okay Yuding can wear Penguin pyjama. Now go take off your clothes first.” He shoves his son softly.

“Okayyy” Yujin grinned and run up the stairs.

 

 

“You are too soft with him honey”

Sakura saw his wife side eyeing him. He opened his arms, inviting his wife into his embrace.

“Come here mummy”

His wife made a face, but still walked towards him.

He kissed the top of her hair, her forehead and then her lips.

“Mummy smells like pie. Daddy’s hungry now”

“Bath first. Then we eat” she fixes his collar. 

“Okay mummy” Sakura let go of the hug and walked upstairs.

 

 

They father and son duo took their bath and then the dinner.

All four of them.

Sakura,Mummy,Yuding and Baby.

 

 

He helped cleaned the table and do the dishes.

His wife had done her part in cooking, shall it be his duty to do the post dinner.

 

 

It was 9:30 p.m.

He tucked Yujin to bed. 

“Daddy!” Yujin called as his daddy about to turn the lights off.

“Yes Yuding”

“Can you tell me bed time stoly?”

“What story do you want to listen tonight?”

“Urmmmm...” Yujin thinks hard.

“Star Wars? The Legend of Fortnite? The Knight and 3 Men Against Alien? 12 Princesses and Wizards? Nightmare Before Christmas or IT chapter 2?”

“No! Yuding wet bed after The Legend of Fortnite!”

“And so what you want to listen tonight buddy?” he sat at Yujin’s bedside and softly ruffles his hair.

“Emm Mummy!”

“Oh The Mummy?”

“Yes!”

 

Sakura cleared his throat,

“Okay, so once upon a time in Egypt..”

“No daddy not the white mummy! Mummy! My mummy! Daddy’s mummy! Baby’s mummy!” Yujin protested while hugging his puppy plushies.

One that looks like him.

“Oh.. what do you want to know about mummy?”

“How do daddy meet mummy?” Yujin his thumb.

“Okay kid, so this is how I met your mother”

“Okay shix teen” Yujin nodded acting like he knew what it means.

“I was late for school. As usual, I leaped through time and over the fence. And the most beautiful girl in the school was waiting for Daddy at the ground.”

“Late again Miyawaki” she smirked at her handsome junior, writing down something.

“Eh.. hehehe.. hello there senpai”

“Don’t hello me yet. Hello this paper first”

“But.. but Irene senpai, I wasn’t late yet”

“Oh really? If you aren’t late then why are you jumping fence? Today is not a sport day” Irene fix her gaze on him.

Sakura rubbed his neck, “Well, hehehe I just want to look cool in front of you”

“Oh!” Irene cheeks turned pink.

“I...I.. hehehe.. I think I...” Sakura was about to open his mouth when his another senpai, Seulgi hyung arrived.

“Oh Saku, late again”

“Eh, no I’m not”

“Yes yes sure you don’t” he patted Sakura’s shoulders.

“I’m just saying hi to Irene sama”

 

Sakura about to continue his story when Yujin put up his hand, like a student in the class.

“Yes Yuding”

“Mummy’s name is Ailene?”

“No Yuding. It’s I-Reen”

“A-leen?”

“I-Re-Een”

“Okay Anlene” Yujin got tired.

“Urgh okay then Anlene it is. Now let me continue the story” Yujin just nodded.

“So as a cool, handsome and hot junior, daddy made excuses”

Seulgi chuckled, before walking away “Irene sama huh?”

“Heeeeee” Sakura rubbed his neck. A pose he did when he’s in awkward shy.

Silence filled the atmosphere.

Irene kept looking at the ground.

“Urmm so here’s my number!” she gave the piece of paper to Sakura.

Sakura took it with puzzled face. “Eh?” But Anlene  My bad, Irene ran away before Sakura could grasp the situation.

Looking at the piece of paper, he slowly blushed.

 

He got into class smiling.

To which earned him few questions from his friends, Naruto and Sasuke.

 

Week after, Sakura made it official with Irene.

And they live happily ever after.

Girlie still haven’t said hi to Irene how can we have a win?)

 

 

Sakura had a few months of sweet moments with Irene.

Including amusements parks dates and Mario Kart fights.

Yes, they fight. Irene hate to lose.

But she looks so cute every time she tried so hard to win.

They almost have it all.

ALMOST.

But they stop before anything ever happened.

“So Anlene is mummy’s name?” Yujin asked.

“Nope. Your Aunt Irene married a foreign man named William. Your Uncle Will. They lived in Canada now. Do you remember Uncle Will? The one you always ask for toys when you were baby”

(Seriously Sakura.. Yujin is only 4... How can he remember anything from when he’s a baby 🤦🏻‍♂️)

“Ohhhhh Uncle Wee!” Yujin said. As if he knows who the Wee wee Uncle is.

“It’s.. it’s Will. Not Wee. Urgh whatever”

 

 

Sakura’s phone beeped and he looks over it.

He spent minutes on the phone, forgetting Yujin.

Yujin still looking at him, anticipating. 

“Whose Yuding’s mummy?” Yujin made Sakura flinched.

“Ohh you’re still alive.. Erm, okay. So, scene 2”

“So after Daddy ‘broke up’ with Aunt Irene..”

“Anlene! It’s Anlene!”

“Okay okay Yuding it’s Anlene” he pinched Yujin’s cheek.

“Okay so on our senior year, a new girl transferred to Daddy’s school. Guess her name!!”

“Yuding!”

“No Yujin, you don’t even exist yet that time” Sakura facepalmed.

Yujin chuckles “hehehe”

 

Sakura took a breathe and continue..

“It’s Minjoo. You never heard of her name. But she’s the most beautiful girl I’ve ever see”

Yujin holds his Daddy’s arm.

“Yes Yuding, why?”

“Why you only meet de most beautiful girl? No ugly?”

“No Yuding, no one is ugly.” Sakura bopped his nose.

“Ohhh” Yujin nodded.

 

“Okay, so, Daddy and Minjoo were in same class. Minjoo is a shy girl. And Daddy is of course, a gentleman. Daddy said hi to her. To which she just nodded. Shyly”
