It's no secret that you've been saying the artist you most want to collaborate with was Little Mix. You've been a fan of them since their X-Factor days and the fact that they motivated you to keep going led to you debuting in Red Velvet so the fans actually had them to thank for, in your opinion. Yeri's recent success of being noticed by Ariana Grande was a driving force for the fans to make Irene and you be noticed by your idols. 

"Unnie, unnie, unnie!" Yeri came to your room without knocking, coming to your side with an excited look on her face. "Look, look!" 

She shoved her phone in your face, forcing you to put down your book. "Ariana Grande just followed me on Instagram! And she said she wanted to hug me!" 

Your eyes sparkled in excitement and you gasped. "Really?! Congratulations, Yerimmie! You deserve it!" You leaned up to hug your little sister tight, her snuggling into your neck. 

"I can't believe this happened! I've been a fan of hers for so long... I just can't believe it!" Your neck started feeling wet and you knew she was crying in happiness. 

You rubbed her back in hopes of providing her with warmth. "You deserve it, dongsaeng-ah. I'm so happy for you! We definitely have to see her in concert together, okay? My treat." 

She nodded before pulling back, rubbing her eyes cutely. "Really?" She reminded you that she was still so young at times like this, no makeup and no stage clothes. Just her. 

"Of course, Yeri." You gave her a warm smile and wiped away the tears on her cheek softly. "I'll see if she would have any concerts soon, okay? Or if I can't, let me know okay?" 

She grinned sheepishly and nodded, hugging you again by wrapping both her arms around your neck. "Thank you, Unnie. You're the best." 

You giggled and hugged her back around the waist. "Don't let Hyun-unnie hear you say that she'll be mad at me for sure." 

Yeri giggled back and nodded slightly in agreement but not letting go of her hug so you tugged her into your lap instead, making her sit on your lap comfortably. This position reminded you of your younger days, a lap full of Yeri hugging you with tears running down her cheeks, afraid of not debuting. 

"Are you tired?" You eventually asked after a while, listening to her calm breathing. 

She nodded before snuggling further into your shoulder. You couldn't help but coo at her. 

"Do you want to lie down or sleep like this?" 

She changed the position of her head so her cheek was against your shoulder, face near your neck. "Like this if you don't mind. You're comfortable, Unnie." 

You chuckled, amused by her sleepy rambling. "Sleep, little sister." 

 And with that, she was out like a light. You reached for your book again and leaned back against the bed, finding a comfortable position to sit for so long with a full-grown adult in your arms. 

An hour later Irene came in to check on you to see you sleeping with Yeri in your arms, hugging each other. She let out a motherly smile before closing the door softly. 

Her two youngest kids have their cute days for sure. 

"Eli, have you seen the tweets the fans have been sending Little Mix?" Joy suddenly piped up, drawing your attention away from the tea you were drinking. 

You gave her a look and she grinned, scooting closer to you to show you her phone. "At this point, I'm scared they would be annoyed by our fans and become annoyed by just seeing your name," she couldn't help but snicker causing you to smirk and nudge her. 

"Unnie, if that happens, can I blame Luvies for drawing my idols away from me?" You joked back, making her laugh out loud. 

She nodded. "Sure, I'll support you, just don't tell unnie." 

You giggled and nodded, knowing which unnie she was talking about. She loves the fans so much that she probably would be mad at you both for days if she knew. It was all in good fun though. 

"Look at this one," she clicked on a particular tweet. It read 'If Yeri could be noticed by Ariana, surely Eli could be noticed by Little Mix?' with the answer to your interview attached, a short gif of you saying how much you love the girl group. 

Joy clicked on another one that says 'We won't rest until Eli gets noticed by you guys. Please do, the girl's desperate'. You let out a huff as Joy laughed. "Hey, I'm not as desperate as Yeri was!" 

You didn't even care if the said girl heard because she knew it was true. She mentioned Ariana Grande every time she could in hopes of getting noticed and after she did she had calmed down a little, thankfully. 

It was cute though seeing your little sister eager and excited like she was. 

"What would you do if they really do notice you?" Joy couldn't help but ask, putting her phone down while turning her body towards your direction. 

You hummed, putting down your mug. "I'll probably scream, then cry, then just check their account over and over again to make sure it was real." 

Your older sister laughed out loud to your detailed description. "Eli-ah! Why would you do all that?" 

"Cause it's realistic?" You gave her a slight glare. "You'd probably do the same. You did with Camila," you smirked at her and she glared back at you, nudging your side which you deflected easily. 

"We agreed to never talk about it again." 

You shrugged nonchalantly. "Well, you gave me no choice." 

It was silent for a while with you continuing to sip your tea while watching the programme on TV and Joy playing with her phone before a squeak can be heard from your side. You turned your head to look at her and saw her wide eyes looking back at you. 

You put down your mug slowly. "Unnie, are you okay?" 

She continued to stay silent and wide-eyed it was worrying you. You put your mug on the table and turned completely towards her, taking her hands in yours. "Unnie, tell me what's wrong." 

She nudged her phone in your hand and you looked down at it to see a tweet from Little Mix's official account saying how the girls love Red Velvet, and you, and would love to meet you one day. They also said you were cute.

You. Were. Cute. They said you were cute. They knew who you were.

After that you proceeded to do what you said you would if you ever got noticed that Irene came running out of her room to see what was wrong, only to see you crying while holding Joy's phone with the owner of the phone looking amused in the background. 

Knowing you wouldn't answer, Irene focused on Joy instead and after Joy explained to her what had happened Irene laughed, sat down beside you and took you into her embrace. "You're too cute, Eli. It's okay," she cooed, the teasing clear in her voice.

You only whined while hugging her back, giving Joy her phone back. After calming down and pouting at both your unnie for making fun of you, you opened the group's official Instagram account to send a DM to your idols, thanking them for their kind words and that you couldn't wait to see them live in concert.

What a day it had been.
