Right after Vietnam, it was Indonesian ReVeluv's turn to see Red Velvet. This would be the second time that you were there and you couldn't be happier. Not many knew this but you actually have Indonesian relatives and understand Indonesian quite well, though you can only speak the basics. When you were little and began interacting with your relatives on the phone, you began to pick up some Indonesian words and eventually just learned the language as a whole at school. You liked learning new languages, and this was a challenge you'd like to overcome so you learnt it and mastered it. However, due to you moving to Korea to train and not having many opportunities to talk to your Indonesian relatives, your language ability began to dwindle down though you still understand it quite well. 

This would be the second time that you would visit Indonesia for work. The first time you did, you didn't get to speak in front of the audience and actually show your knowledge of the language. This time, you made it a mission to talk more in front of the audience as you want to interact more with Luvies. 

"Red Velvet is on in 5 minutes!" 

The announcement was made and it got all of you moving. 

"This would be the second time we perform in front of them," Irene started, looking at all of you in the eyes. "But I heard the audience is much larger than last time so just have fun, okay? Be careful of the stage, I was told it was slippery due to the rain." 

That got you nervous, as you would be performing in heels, but you tried not to get it into your head. 

"Just make sure you watch your steps, okay? It's better to have a less perfect performance than falling," Wendy continued, looking at you in particular to which you replied with a sheepish smile. 

"Right, let's go." You did your group cheer and moved towards the back of the stage, beginning to hear the cheers of the crowd. 

 With a wide smile, you walked into the stage to the cheers of thousands. 

Your performance was divided into two segments and even though they mopped the stage in between them, the stage was still slippery. So, that resulted in every one of you slipping or stumbling in some way but none of you let that get into you. You still performed with your all and really enjoyed the performance, especially listening to the cheers and fan chants. It was amazing. 

At the end of the last segment, the MC made some small talk and one of them was Korean that had been living in Indonesia for a while so he was fluent in both languages. He asked if Irene remembered him from his idol days back then and she smiled shyly, nodding. All the MCs talked to you in English, then the Korean MC would translate to Korean for the more complicated sentences. At one point, one of the MCs asked you how you were feeling about performing in Indonesia again. 

"Halo semua (hello everyone)," you replied in Indonesian with a grin, actually shocking everyone with how fluent you sounded. "Aku senang sekali bisa kembali lagi dan tampil untuk Indonesian ReVeluvs (I'm so happy to be back to perform for Indonesian ReVeluvs)." The fans screamed so loud at that, you could see Irene flinching and moving back a bit, raising her hands as if to cover her ears but then putting them back down. 

With that, all the MCs let out shocked gasps and you laughed, looking at your members to see them looking surprised as well. You never told them you could speak Indonesian, they only knew that you have Indonesian relatives and understand the language fairly well. 

"You can speak Indonesian?!" The MCs asked at the same time, making you giggle. They still talked in English so your members could still understand the conversation. 

"Yeah, I have Indonesian relatives and learnt the language," you finally told everyone. 

"You all looked very shocked," the Korean MC brought up. "None of you knew she could speak Indonesian?" 

They all shook their head no and Wendy, who was standing next to you, nudged you in the ribs and you laughed, making the fans laugh as well. 

"They said they didn't know Eli could speak Indonesian so well," the MC translated for the Indonesian MCs. "Why have you never told them?" 

You shrugged, "It never came up. I told them I have Indonesian relatives but there was never a need for me to speak Indonesian in front of them so they never found out." 

They still looked shocked. You laughed some more and the fans cheered. "Wow, okay. Well, it's very nice having you all today!" The MCs continued the conversation for a bit more before you had to leave the stage, all of you waving happily towards the fans, making them cheer loudly. 

The news of you being able to speak their language quickly spread that night and your name along with Wendy's trended on Twitter. You for being able to speak the language and Wendy for looking so beautiful even non-fans were asking who she was. 

The next day, you were scheduled to visit the SM Office there in Jakarta and the fans got wind of it, flocking to the mall like it was a concert venue. It was very peaceful though so security wasn't too worried. 

You all signed the wall and had almost five interviews in a day, all bringing up the fact that you shocked everyone by speaking their language. At one point, an interviewer asked the members how they felt about it and whether they were annoyed that you didn't tell them. 

"Not really," Wendy answered while looking at everyone, seeing them all nod in agreement. "It was funny actually, how she was speaking Indonesian out of the blue and everyone just looked so shocked. I bet our faces were funny too," she added at the end, making you and the interviewer laugh. 

"They were," you answered, smirking. Joy shoved you jokingly, making you laugh. 

"Well, we can all agree that it was a nice surprise, right?" The interviewer asked, to which all the members nod and smiled, all looking at you in unison. 

In one of the interviews, they received fan requests for what they wanted you guys to do and one of them asked for a tongue twister in Indonesian. 

"Ah, Eli is going to ace this one," Wendy couldn't help but comment and you grinned, shrugging. 

The interviewer, whose name was Boy, widened his eyes in realisation. "That's true! You can actually speak Indonesian, right?" 

You nodded, "Yeah, I never had to do a tongue twister though." 

He nodded, "Well, we'll see." 

In the end, you really did ace the tongue twister. Then, it was time for some challenges and one of it was a would you rather. All the questions were fun but your favourite was the response to flowers vs. chocolate, and all the unnies answered with flowers and the maknaes answered with chocolate. 

"Ah, so we have four romantic and two hungry." That really made all of you laugh out loud, including Irene. You and Yeri looked at each other and high-fived. 

You couldn't help but comment coolly, "Priorities, you know?" 

After the interview aired, this comment made you viral. People couldn't help but agree.
