It was time for Gaon Chart Music Awards and you were tired but still buzzing to see all your idol friends. The theme for this year was white and you were so happy all of you would be wearing the same coloured clothes; it made you feel more like a group girl as silly as that sounds. 

Because you just got back from SM Town Chile in Santiago and had to go through endless hours of travelling, all of you looked tired and unfortunately it couldn't be completely concealed by the makeup they had put on you. Irene looked the most tired out of all of you and being the leader she is, she wouldn't say anything though it didn't stop you from worrying over your beloved leader. 

"Unnie, how are you doing?" 

She smiled albeit tiredly. "I'm okay, Eli. Don't worry about me." 

You pouted. "You know I'll always worry over you, Unnie. Let me know if you need anything, okay? Even just a hug or something." 

She couldn't help but grin and pinch your cheek. "Aww you're so cute. Thank you, Eli. Can I get that hug now?" 

Your pout turned into a loving grin. "Of course!" You hugged her tight, putting all your warmth into it knowing that's what she was seeking. 

You stayed in the embrace for a little while before she pulled back, giving you a once-over to make sure she didn't mess up your clothes or hair. 

"Eli!" you turned towards the sound to see Seulgi calling you, "can you help me with this?" 

You nodded. "Okay!" You turned back to Irene to give her a kiss on the cheek before walking over to the older. 

What you liked most about awards were watching all the performance and the possibilities of interacting with your idol friends who you couldn't interact outside the job. It was also nice to see other groups fangirling over your members. 

Oh yes, you knew all about it. Joy, you and Yeri are the ones tasked to know what's going around the internet, especially about trends involving your group so it couldn't be helped that you found out certain people from certain groups idolised certain members of yours. 

During the award, Red Velvet was given their own table and you decided to sit beside Wendy and Irene, with Irene on your right and Wendy on your left, continued with Seulgi, Joy, then Yeri. You were happy that your group got front row seats for the show because your fangirling self could, well, fangirl, as much as you wanted. You also would have to interact with every group that walked towards the stage, so you were anticipating some interesting interactions that could happen. 

When IZ*ONE walked in front of your group, you noticed Sakura bowing to Irene without even looking at her and you couldn't help but chuckle at the cute rookie. You turned your body slightly to look at Yeri and exchanged sly smiles with her ended up giggling into her hands. You turned around again to lean closer to Irene, making sure you put your hand on her back so she wouldn't be too startled. 

"Unnie, did you notice Sakura bowing at you?" you asked to which Irene nodded to, so you continued, "she was so cute not looking at you when she bowed. I bet her heart was beating so fast." 

She turned her head slightly to face you. "What do you mean?" 

You smirked. "Well, she's a big fan of you. I bet she couldn't look at you in the eyes because she's so nervous." 

She pouted slightly and slapped your arm, the both of you took your seats again but stayed close to continue the conversation. "Why would she be? I'm just me." 

You would roll your eyes if you didn't know she would slap you even harder. "That's exactly it, Unnie. You're Bae Irene, the leader of Red Velvet and her idol. Of course, she would be nervous." 

You leaned back in your seat, a sign of ending the conversation that you knew would go on and on if you didn't. Irene doesn't realise her impact on people sometimes it's ridiculous. 

"Rosé! Lisa!" you greeted as you saw their group walk up to their table behind you. 

They turned their attention to you and their mouth widened in surprise before running to you, taking you in their embrace prompting laughs from you and louder screams from the fans around the venue. 

"How are you guys? I miss you so much!" You hugged back as best as you could. 

They pulled back and you could see the grins on their faces. "We're good! We have to talk later, okay?" 

You nodded vigorously. "Of course!" 

You turned your attention towards the remaining members of Blackpink and saw that they already reached their table. You bowed then gave them a big grin, waving in excitement which was replied by Jisoo and Jennie with the same enthusiasm. Jennie even reached her arms out and hands the air in slight aegyo, making the fans coo and scream. 

You laughed before slightly pushing your friends towards the direction of their seats then taking your own with a big smile, prompting a nudge from Wendy. 

You nudged her back with a giggle before turning your attention towards the stage again. 

You had won an award and got to perform one of Red Velvet's biggest summer hits, Power Up. As you were performing, you couldn't help but break out of character and smile towards Twice as you saw them jamming into your performance right in front of the stage. When it was your turn, you formed a heart with your hands and directed it towards them, making them scream with fists pumping in the air and the fans scream even louder. You were just glad that you could do said gesture accordingly to the song.  

Later on, you found out that Irene also broke out of character and sent a smile towards them during the performance. 

You recently found out that Chaeyeon from the same group as Sakura idolised Seulgi, so you might have hinted the fact to her to see if she would initiate contact. At the end of the award, all the idols went up the stage to take group pictures. As you walked behind Seulgi, you saw IZ*ONE already standing there and bowing to their seniors, and your group of people was about to walk past. As you did, you saw Seulgi holding her fangirl's hand as she walked past and said girl holding a hand on in disbelief. Wanting to add to her excitement, as you walked past, you bowed back and winked at her cheekily before walking by. 

You could slightly hear her squeal. 

When it was time to take the group pictures, your group ended up blending with Blackpink and making it look like you're one whole group. During the process, you interacted with Jennie and Irene who was clinging to each other. 

"A baby," you teased Irene who was clinging to Jennie with a small pout on her face, resulting in her glaring at you but too lazy to actually slap you as you knew she would have. You laughed seeing her reaction.

"What? Are you jealous, Eli?" Jennie teased back. 

You scoffed. "Me? Jealous?" you raised your eyebrow before relenting, "well, yeah! I haven't gotten my hug yet!" you completed the whining with a pout and Jennie could not help but melt at the sight. 

You saw Irene hugging her tighter in response, not ready to let go of her right embrace just yet. You knew this interaction would be the talk of both fandoms after the event ended. "No! It's my time now."

You and Jennie laughed. "I know, Unnie, I know," you stepped closer to pat her on the head, "I'll just hug her later, don't worry." 

You knew how much Irene missed and worried about the younger girl. Your groups were both busy so she couldn't support her as much as she wanted. 

You were about to turn around towards the front before an idea struck. You quickly kissed Jennie on the cheek before laughing and slightly running away, closer towards Jisoo who was behind Seulgi and Wendy. 

"Yah!" Jennie yelled with cheeks painted in bright pink. Fans who saw the interaction just laughed and screamed, knowing how much Jennie "hated" kisses. 

When you got next to Jisoo, you put your arms around her shoulders and she put hers around your waist, bringing you into a side hug. 

"What did you do?" She looked at you, making you look at her and smiled cheekily. 

"I might have kissed Jennie-unnie on the cheek," your statement made her laugh. 

"Oh, you're so gonna get it later." 

You smirked. "It was worth it."
