Youhee + Onew = <3

A young woman in her early twenties stood in the kitchen, packing her and her lover’s lunch. She, Cha Youhee was especially super happy today. Why is that you ask? It’s of course her and Onew’s - yes the Leader of SHINee, seventh anniversary. Yes, they have been dating for seven years straight.  Isn’t that adorable?

Youhee was planning on picking up Onew from the set of StarKing and taking him out to the park to have a romantic picnic. She wasn’t always active so this was rare of her to do so.

Youhee continued packing the picnic basket and searched around for eating utensils. Her other friends – SHINee were sitting around in her apartment and watched as she packed up the basket. It was amusing to them to seeing the older girl wander around the kitchen to search for the items.

“Youhee, are you really taking Onew out for a picnic date?” Jong Hyun asked while resting his face in the palms of his hands. Jong Hyun had taken a seat at the countertop. He stared at the woman in front of him and blinked. Youhee looked over and smiled a bit.

“I’ve explained this already Jong Hyun - it’s our anniversary. Onew has done so much for me in the past I figured why don’t I do something special for a change,” Youhee closed the basket as soon as her explanation was finished. Jong Hyun nodded at her statement and shrugged.

“Well...good luck with your date Youhee,” Jong Hyun cheered.

“We’re rooting for you!” Tae Min hopped on over and grinned brightly. Min Ho nodded his head and flashed a thumb up. Key walked into the kitchen and stood in front of Youhee.

“Now I’m not going to say this twice okay? Be home at your apartment at 10 PM sharp or else I’m coming over,” Key began but slowly silenced when Youhee placed a hand on his shoulder.

“Don’t worry Ki Bum, I’ll be home before that, alright?” Youhee said while chuckling lightly. Key raised an eyebrow and slowly nodded at the older girl.

“I trust you Youhee,” Key whispered to himself.

“Alright, I’m taking off first. Min Ho, I’m leaving the apartment keys in your possession. When you leave, please lock up the doors,” Youhee stated and everyone agreed and shooed her away to her date.

“Oh dear, I hope Jin Ki likes the food I made for him,” Youhee said to herself as she stood outside of the movie set. She fiddles around with the basket and looks around the set.

She looks over the corner and recognizes Onew’s hair style and also a orange, blond hair girl - who looked like Luna from the other band in his company. She takes a deep breath and lets it out. “Alright, let’s do this-” 

Right as soon as Youhee turns the corner to exert forward to her lover - she froze in her footsteps. Her fingers began to grip tightly onto the basket that she held in her hands. Her lips trembled as she blinked at the sight in front of her. She could feel the tears slowly filled up in her eyes.

Onew was kissing Luna.

Wild imaginations began roaming through her mind as she makes her way over to Onew. She didn’t want to believe any of this was true. Questions came and go as she got closer and close to Onew.

Would Onew really cheat on her when it was their anniversary? That was the main question that was carved into her brain at the moment.

She light taps his shoulder and waited. Onew turned around as his eyes widen as the seconds ticked by. “Yo-youhee!” Onew practically gasped out loudly. Youhee had her arms crossed as she glared at Onew. Her eyes lingered over to Luna, who was smiling nerviously.

“Y-youhee w-what are you doing here?” Onew asked while his eyes shifted around. Youhee let out a growl as she rolled her eyes.

“I was coming by to surprise you,” Youhee hissed out. Onew hopped out of the seat and stood in front of Youhee happily.

Onew gleefully clapped his hands. “O-oh really? That’s so sweet of you-” Onew took a step foreward to hug Youhee but she took a step back. Youhee turned away and began walking from the movie shooting site. Onew couldn’t help but follow her - leaving Luna by herself.

As soon as they were finally alone beside the food table. Onew took her wrist and tugged her back. Youhee groaned in annoyance. She placed down her basket and turned to face Onew once again.

“What are you doing Youhee?” Onew asked while pouting. “Why are you walking away from me?” Youhee shook her head and didn’t want to answer but she had too.

“What am I doing? I should be asking you, that Onew,” Youhee said while scoffing.

“What do you mean? Did I do something wrong to upset you baby?” Onew asked innocently while tilting his head in confusion.

“Oh, don’t baby me and most definitely don’t act like you don’t know a thing mister!” Youhee accused while glaring at him.

“What did I do? What do I know? I’m confused,” Onew scratches his head in frustration. He really didn’t know what he did wrong.

“Tha-that you were having an affair with another woman behind my back! And you know what’s weird about it as well? It had to be on our 7th year anniversary too!” Youhee broke down in tears. Tear droplets slowly ran down her cheeks.

“Wha-” Onew looked at Youhee with wide-eyes.

Youhee, his baby Youhee, was crying in front of him. Throughout his whole relationship with Youhee, this was the first time he saw her cry. She looked so fragile and hurt. At the same time - his heart ached as well. Who knew Youhee had affected him as well. It hurt to see the love of his life cry in front of him as well.

Onew frowned and slowly tried to wrap his arms around Youhee to comfort her. Sadly Youhee was trying to break free from his loving hug.

“W-why?!” Youhee asked while pushing Onew away gently. Onew remained silent and didn’t say anything. He continued to hold Youhee tightly - not letting go.

“You’re not going to answer?” Youhee asked while looking at him through her tears. “S-so you’re not going to decline the fact that you’re cheating on me?” Youhee murmured out. Her heart got torn in half even more.

Onew continued to not answer; which made Youhee cry out hysterically. Youhee tugged, push, kick and did everything that she could to get out of Onew’s grip. She didn’t want to be near Onew anymore.

After a while Youhee eventually tire out and just lay in Onew’s arm. Onew waited patiently for Youhee to stop her nonsense. “Are you done?” Onew asked quietly.

“...hmm,” Youhee said while not looking at Onew.

“I take it that you are. Will you listen to my side of the story? What really happened between me and Luna?” Onew asked while Youhee lay there quietly. He took that as a ‘yes’.

“You see, what really happened was...

“Alright everyone, that’s a wrap! We’ll shoot the next scene tomorrow morning! Thanks for the excellent work today!” The producer said while everyone on the set cheered happily.

Onew and Luna went back to their seats and took a short break before changing back into their casual clothes.

“So! I heard from Victoria and Krystal that today is yours and Youhee’s anniversary! Is it true?”

“Yeah it is, it’s our 7th anniversary actually,” Onew blushed lightly.

“Wow! That’s so cute! Did you plan anything special for you both yet?” Luna questions.

“Sadly I really don’t know what I want to surprise Youhee this time,” Onew frowns and pouted.

“Well...why don’t you treat her to a home cooked meal? That would be romantic,” Luna asks while Onew’s frown turned upside down.

“That’s a great idea!” Onew leaned over and hugged her tightly. It made it look like he was having some lip to lip contact from behind. “Thank you so much Luna!” Onew exclaims. Suddenly there was a tap behind his back and he turned around and gasps at the sight of an angry Youhee.

Youhee frowns and felt guilty. She felt awful that she had accused her boyfriend just like that. She whimpered lightly and looked up to seeing a sadden Onew.

“Onew...” Onew didn’t reply to her call. “Jin Ki...” Onew still didn’t move. Youhee slipped out a tear and turned around. She faced Onew as her lips trembled. “Jin Ki, I...I’m sorry,” Youhee cried out.

“I-I didn’t mean to accuse you so quickly. I’m sorry for being a bad girlfriend,” Youhee said while looking down in shame. She cried until she felt Onew’s hand under her chin. Onew leaned his face down closer to Youhee’s. Youhee waited as the seconds passed by. The tension in the room lessens as soon as Onew pressed his lips against Youhee’s. Youhee gasped and still felt the static electricity whenever the two kissed. The kiss was sweet yet short because Onew pulled away and pressed his forehead against hers.

“Youhee, I want you to know that no matter what happens, I love you,” Onew said while Youhee stared at her lover. “I love you and only you. No one can ever take your place in my heart,” Onew grasped her hand and placed on his beating heart.

“Do you understand?” Onew asks while Youhee took a second to nod.

“Onew...” Youhee whispered out while Onew waited. “I love you too,” Youhee said while wrapping her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.

“Not uh!” Onew whined out cutely while hugging the girl. She let out a giggle.

“Yeah-huh,” Youhee stuck out her tongue and smiled. Onew laughed and then remembered the basket.

“Baby, what’s with the basket?” Onew asks.

“Basket?...oh! I wanted to take you out for a picnic!” Youhee said while grinning.

“A picnic? Really?” Youhee nodded. “Yeah, for our date,” Youhee replied. Onew let go of Youhee and went over to the table to get the basket.

“Alright - let’s go then,” Onew took the basket and laced his fingers with Youhee. Youhee blushed and laid her head on his shoulder. She clung tightly onto Onew.
