‘And there she was once again dancing to Infinite’s song,’ a guy that was about twenty years old stood outside his window staring at the dancing girl. The girl was popping and locking all over the dance room.  He had been watching her for quite two and a half weeks already.

You hope for this
I can’t seem to have you

 ‘I can’t seem to take my eyes off of her,’ this girl was really intriguing to him. She comes to the dance practice room at 3 PM o’clock sharp. Practices she is tired out which is around 10 PM o’clock, including breaks as well.

With only my heart
and, can you smile?

 ‘Something about her was alluring and so mysterious to me,’  to him, she wasn’t like other girls who are afraid of getting down and sweaty. From the two weeks of ‘stalking’ he found out that she is really different. She was herself and it seems like whenever she is dancing, she is telling a story; a sad one from his point of view. This is what makes the twenty year old young man even more interested in the girl.

I said to go,
I said I’m okay

 ‘I want to know, I want to learn…and I want to be there dancing along side with her,’ He knew one day he’ll have the guts to go up to her and befriend her. He was just waiting for the right opportunity to do so.

Seems like I can give nothing

Although he has ran into her once before when she was going home. They bumped into each other which caused the love-struck boy to freeze up and do nothing. The mysterious girl murmured out a single apology and left for home.

This caused the boy to go into a depression; he couldn’t believe he froze up like that. It made him really depressed that he couldn’t do anything at all but he vowed that he WILL talk to her the next time that they meet. NO MATTER WHAT.

And who was this guy? Who is the one stalking this poor innocent girl? Oh course, the one and only Lee Ho Won, also known as the one and only Hoya of Infinite. Poor guy fell in for this beautifully, mysterious yet alluring girl.

The loud speakers boomed throughout the whole room. Music pumped loudly as a girl with a hood over her head danced around. She’s been going at the whole practice session for quite some time now. As the music ended she struck a pose and breathed heavily. She fell to the ground with a sudden thud. Sweat trickled down her cheeks and her breathing echoed through the hallowed walls.

The mystifying girl shut her eyes and lay on the ground. She rested a bit and slowly opened her eyes to seeing a water bottle placed near her face. Her eyes grew wide and she looks over in bewilderment. She met up with a pair of tender brown eyes.  She blinked and looked suspiciously at the boy in front of her and recognized him immediately. He was the same man that bumped into her a few weeks ago.

“What are you doing here?” She asked hardheartedly while getting up and brushed past the man. He looked at her with dismay and followed behind her.

“I couldn’t help but saw you dance beautifully an-,” The man was caught off with her stopping in her tracks in a fast pace. She whipped around and glared at him with spite.

“You were spying on me?” She snapped at him without sensing how cold she sounded for a moment but that didn’t stop the man at all. He was a big surprised and even more attracted to the young girl. The man noticed while she was dancing she was more carefree and happy but right now she is distant and mysterious. What was she trying to hide?

“I just so happen to walk by and caught a glimpse of you dancing,” The man explained calmly.

“But you ended up spying on me, you sick stalker,” She gritted out while grabbing her bag and flinging it over her shoulder.

“I wasn’t spyi—” He tried to clarify while grabbing her shoulder but suddenly she whipped around and struck him with her gym bag. The bag hit the poor boy on the cheek and she took off quickly without saying a word.

Hoya, who was just hit, couldn’t help but just stare at her running off. He felt as if he had failed another mission at talking to the mysterious young girl. He sighed and walked after the young girl.

A sleek convertible was parked in front of the dance studio. There stood three different people, the same girl with the pink hoodie covering up her hair and head; a tall man with spiky hair and another girl with luscious brown hair.

“Are you sure you don’t want us to stay? I mean he is on the search for you, I’ll stick around and you know kick his all across the world if he messes with a single lock of your hair,” The pink hooded girl nodded and kept her cool out-looks.

“I’ll be fine TOP-oppa” Rae In stated while flinging her bag over her shoulder. Yes, Rae In was the mysterious dancer that someone had been watching her for quite some time now.

“If there is anything call us up right away okay?” Rae Na, Rae In’s older and supportive sister stated with a grin. TOP was Rae In and Rae Na’s extremely over protective cousin who was quite older then both of them.

“Don’t worry oppa, unnie I’ll be fine,” Rae In stated with a soft smile on her lips. “I promise, Dae Sung won’t hurt me, I’ll just be practicing…” She stated while turning away.

“Have fun! Be careful as well,” Rae Na stated while Rae In waved her hand behind.

“Don’t hurt yourself now!” TOP demanded but Rae In was long gone.

Rae In continued walking towards her usual practice room. That is until she saw someone familiar standing in front of her room. Her eyes dimmer and she ignored his presence.

“Baby girl,” A new gentle and seductive voice called out while brushing his fingers on Rae In’s cheek. She suddenly slapped his hand away.

“Get away from me Dae Sung,” She stated while opening the door and beginning to walk in but suddenly Dae Sung, Rae In’s last and ex-boyfriend gripped the door tightly and shutting it again.

“Baby listen to me, I’m sorry” Dae Sung apologized while Rae In looked in his eyes. His eyes had no emotion at all which confused her. He was always a hard reader when it comes to emotions.

“No, you’re not,” Rae In stated while glaring at Dae Sung. “Why don’t you just go off with Mi Young again and leave me alone,” Rae In hissed out while rolling her eyes.

“So this is it again? This is why you weren’t answering my phone calls and all that?” Dae Sung asked while holding onto Rae In’s wrist. Rae In’s eyes widen at the sudden harsh grasp. He was squeezing her wrist tightly but she couldn’t show fear at all.

“Well unlike me, I don’t play around with other people. I have a life and that doesn’t include you Dae Sung, so leave before I call security,” Rae In snapped while holding in the pain.

“Why I-” Dae Sung was about to strike Rae In until someone held him back and pushed him away. Rae In fell into her hero’s arms and looked up to seeing the same guy that has been watching her.

“The young lady said leave, so leave,” The hero stated smoothly while shooing Dae Sung away.

“Just you wait Rae In I will ha-” Dae Sung felt two hands on each shoulder. He looked around and saw Infinite. Rae In’s eyes widen and recognized them already. Rae In fell to the ground and stared.

“Sung Gyu, Dong Woo can you show this kind man the exit,” Hoya asked while smiling. His friends nodded and dragged Dae Sung away. His friends walked away leaving the two in the hallway. Hoya took off his jacket and placed it around Rae In’s shoulders. He took a seat beside her. They both sat in silence, not knowing what to do at that very moment.

“I’m sorry…” Rae In began first while Hoya looked over at her.

“Don’t be sorry because there is nothing to be sorry about,” Hoya said while smiling.

“That person…was Dae Sung, we didn’t officially go out but I confessed to him but only got played because he wanted to get someone else jealous,” Rae In explained while frowning.

“That isn’t what a man supposed to do; they are to protect the girl not play with them…” Hoya answered while seeing Rae In’s shoulder sag.

“Do you want to know the reason why I dance?” Rae In asked while Hoya looked at her unsure for a second. He eventually nodded and smile.

“I dance because…I want to get away from all of my problems,” Hoya was confused but continued listening to the young girl. “I had to live through mom and dad’s constant fighting at home for quite many years now. Adding to the list with Dae Sung going after me because he wants to start a new relationship which I don’t want too because I don’t want to get hurt again because of him, I just can’t handle it all,” Rae In began while pushing her feet up to her chest and rest her head on her knees.

Hoya saw and without thinking, he pulled her into his embrace and patted her back. Rae In was shocked at the sudden action and couldn’t do anything. She froze and didn’t want to push Hoya away at all. His embrace…was loving and warm.

“You don’t have to face all of those alone; you have me now…I’ll protect you so please…smile for me,” Rae In heard him whisper into her ear. She felt her heart thump loudly. Hoya pulled away and kissed her forehead.

“Smile only for me okay?” Hoya asked while grinning at her. She blushed lightly and smile brightly at him.

“I never got your name,”

“I’m Choi Rae In,”

“Well then I’m Hoya,”
