I was surprised by Kai’s cooking skills; he made me a stir fry and even set the table so we could eat it. It was the first time anyone had ever tried for me and I was in awe of it, even though I would never admit it because his ego was big enough.

“Thanks for this.” I said to him as I picked up the cutlery “You didn’t have to.”

“I wanted to.” He said as he mimicked my actions “I couldn’t just sit there and watch you eat instant ramen. That’s not good for you at all.”

“Still.” I shrugged “I don’t know how to cook so you know.” I shoved a fork-full of food in my mouth and melted in the chair, I made sure I swallowed it before praising him because it was well deserved “Oh my god. This is delicious!”

“Don’t misjudge someone.” He smiled as he said my own words back to me.

                Did I need to say that Kai had picked me up the morning after and I just couldn’t be bothered to argue with him or tell him how stupid it was for him to come pick me up.

“Not going to complain today?” Kai asked as we walked down our road.

I stifled a yawn and shrugged “What’s the point? Is it going to change anything?”

“No.” He said with a gigantic smirk.

I narrowed my eyes at him “Don’t get too comfortable there Jongin.”

“You know you really shouldn’t be using my real name.” Kai muttered with a scowl “I really don’t like it.”

“So why have you stopped scolding me until now over it?” I asked him with my own smirk now.

He dead-panned and stopped walking but I still continued “I have not!” He called after me.

I laughed and shook my head in amusement “Sure thing Jongin.”

“Hey!” He snapped as he caught up “Stop that.”

I snorted “No.”

“Why do you have to be so mean to me?!” He asked as he shoved his hands deep into his trouser pockets “Seriously do you hate me?”

I stopped walking and looked at him with seriousness, causing him to almost trip over his own feet at my abrupt stop “Do you really think that I hate you?”

“I don’t know.” He mumbled as he kicked a stone and refusing to look at me, with a hurt look on his face.

I heaved a very long sigh “No. I don’t hate you.” I muttered before I continued to walk again.

“Really?!” He seemed far too happy over the fact and he was by my side in a second, nudging me with his shoulder.

I groaned and rolled my eyes “Like I said don’t
