First Warning.
In The Right Place.
“I’m warning you.” My father’s voice came through the phone “I will take you out of that school and ship you here myself if I have to. So go to the god damn appointment.” He snapped the last part.
I ruffled my nose in disgust, glad that he couldn’t see me “I just haven’t had the time okay? I’ll go tomorrow.”
“Don’t leave it until after school.” He snapped “I’m not going to have a failure of a successor.”
I winced at the harsh words “I’ll skip school then and go in at lunch.” I muttered.
“Good.” He sighed “I’ll call them to make sure Emira you know that I will.”
“Whatever.” I fiddled with the edge of the sofa; I wasn’t surprised when I suddenly heard that he hung up. I put my phone on the sofa and deflated into it “Yeah I’m great thanks for asking.”
So on Monday I attended the stupid appointment. I had text Kai telling him that I would be in school at lunch and I was true to my word. Except that I wasn’t really feeling all that great, or hungry. So I walked through the cafeteria and straight to their table.
Sehun looked up at me and smiled “Hey.”
“Afternoon gents.” I said sitting down “Miss me?”
“Do we need to answer that?” Yixing smirked.
I propped my head up on my hand “How did the unveiling of your hair go? I’m sorry I missed it.”
“We’ve been getting a lot more attention.” Luhan answered.
