I don’t know how long I was sat there with an empty cup of coffee for but Yixing soon took it from between my hands and chucked it away.
“It’s been so long.” I said running my hands through my hair “Why?”
“That’s a good sign Kai.” Yixing said sitting back down.
Luhan nodded “We just need to be patient.”
“I’d suggest you go home and rest but I know none of you will do it.” Henry said “I’m shattered but I am not moving.”
Sehun stifled a yawn “Not a living chance in hell.” My mother had also taken off.
A pair of shiny black shoes and a yellow envelope being held by a large hand suddenly appeared in front of my face. I looked up in confusion as a guy in a crisp clean suit I hadn’t seen before urged me to take it.
“What is this?” I asked as I took it.
He retracted his hand and with no facial expression what so ever he said “I’m sorry.” And then he left.
I frowned hard as I opened the file and pulled out the contents. I was absolutely shocked “This… These are the papers stating that your dad is leaving Emira in your care.” I looked at Henry “And he’s leaving her a lot of money.”
Henry shot up and took the papers from me, skim-reading through them “I can’t believe this.” He sat back down and propped his head on his hand with his elbow on the arm of the chair, and he looked shattered “After all this why now?”
“Probably because he’s realised that he’s an .” Sehun aired with an annoyed look “He would make it easier now she’s suffering.”
“It sickens me.” Yixing muttered.
Luhan sighed “But now she’s safe.”
“If she gets through this.” Henry said “I just hope she does.” He stifled a yawn “I’ll call your mom in a bit. I might go round there and steal some of her cooking too.”
I smiled at him “You’ll be more than welcome.”
“You know I don’t get how he was just stood there whilst she had a heart attack right in front of him.” Yixing said with a frown “His daughter could have died and he just stood there. He didn’t say anything.”
