As Kai sat on my sofa on Tuesday evening I disappeared into the bedroom to grab a few things and as I pulled them into the living room I felt myself get a little breathless.

I dropped the quilt and blankets and panted “G-God you’d think I was asthmatic.”

“What are you trying to do?” He asked as he stood up and came towards me to grab the blankets.

I smiled at him sheepishly “Thought we could build a fort and sleep in it.”

“Sounds like fun.” He smiled at me “But you should have told me. I’d help.”

                So I sat on the floor watching as Kai built the fort with the stools and the back of the sofa, using the quilts and pillows. I finished with my appointment earlier that day and received a phone call from my dad saying that he was pleased. He didn’t say much more than that.

Kai finished the fort and stood up before he came over to me and grabbed my ankles “Come on lazy.” He dragged me across the floor and into the fort.

I snorted at him “Thanks.”

“You’re awfully light you know.” He pointed out for the nth time as he moved to sit next to me “Pleased with our fort princess?”

“Well yes I am.” I nodded with sass causing him to laugh.

He lay back then, tucking his arm beneath his head “Come on.” He encouraged “Lie down.”

I moved quickly to lie down next to him, moving extra close on purpose because I knew it would affect Kai a lot “This is nice.”

“Yes it is.” He hummed in agreement “Hey Emira?” he called my name as he turned his head to look at me.

I turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow “What?”

“Thanks for moving here.” He said with a genuine heart felt smile “The world was grey before you came into it.”

I felt a pang hit my chest so I moved onto my side and leaned forward and kissed Kai straight on the forehead “Likewise Jongin.” I quickly turned over onto my side and sighed, aware that he was blushing uncontrollably.

                I woke up the next morning on a chiselled chest and a rapid heartbeat coursing beneath my ear and that made me realise that I was lying on Kai’s chest. Yes on.

Kai must have sensed me being awake and tightened his arms around me “Not yet.” He muttered softly as he caressed my hair gently.

I laughed gently and let out a sigh “I knew you’d get me in my sleep one of these days Jongin you can’t fool me.”

“Ah don’t ruin it.” He heaved a sigh.

I moved out of his grip and sat up, straddling his stomach rather than his waist “You fiend.
