Unexpected Company.
In The Right Place.
We decided to stop there the night and booked a hotel room which had two separate single beds. At first I thought about asking if we could push them together but decided that enough had happened this weekend.
So first thing the next day we got up and bought some clothes from a nearby store and headed home. He held my hand the entire way back and all the way up in the elevator until we reached my apartment where he released my hand.
I was about to put the key in the door when I heard shouting coming from the other side of it which made me freeze “Jongin go upstairs.”
“What why?” Kai frowned from my side.
I looked at him with seriousness “Henry and my father are in there.”
“Then I’m not leaving.” He said firmly.
I sighed “Kim Jongin I will be fine. Henry will not let him touch me but if he sees you he will think something is going on and he will make it his goal to make me leave.”
His face fell dramatically “You better be okay Emira.”
“I’ll be up straight after I promise.” I reached up and kissed him on the cheek “Thank you for a lovely weekend.”
“I’ll make something for us okay?” He reached out to my hair gently “Be safe.” He turned around reluctantly and got into the elevator.
I took in a deep breath and opened the door. My father and my brother stood facing each other and my brother looked like he had just been slapped without the hand print.
“What is going on?” I asked as I shut the door behind me.
My father looked at me and frowned “You didn’t tell him?”
I went pale “You told him?!”
Henry turned his head very slowly and an expression I never thought I’d see on his face “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“You should have told him Emira.” My father said in his authority tone “I’m going to leave things here. I came to make sure you had everything for the next appointment.” And then he walked past me without a second though
