Luhan's heart weighed lightly as soon when he set his eyes on the cupid's faces. Never did he expect, though he wishes it immensely, to see them again. "Lay, Chen..," he muttered while heading towards the two. Kai, still taken by surprise, followed Luhan. The latter halted all of a sudden, just a few meters away from the cupids. He wasn't really sure what to do. A hug maybe? He turned to Kai, asking for consent which was unnecessary for the latter. When the cupid moved his eyebrows, saying yes, Luhan immediately moved closer and hugged Chen. 

"Ahhhh look at you, Luhannie," the singing cupid stated. Chen then patted his shoulder before he let him go. Luhan turned to Lay who was watching him with a peaceful expression. He reached out for a hug when Lay cleared his throat, "Don't do that. I might kiss you." He then glanced at Kai who gave him a "try-it-and-you-will-pay-later-on" look. A laughter came out of Lay's mouth as he tugged Luhan and embraced him, "I'm kidding."

"I miss the two of you!" exclaimed Luhan.

Chen then approached Kai and beamed, "You, too, grumpy arse. It's been a while since you came home."

"Yeah," replied Kai. "What did mother tell you? I'm sure she's fuming. Father, too."

Chen shook his head, "Of course not. They're worried for you and everyone."

"What about the rest, Chen? How are they?" asked Luhan. "I hope they are doing well. I- I miss them..."

Chen and Lay looked at each other while Kai held Luhan closer. 

"They WILL be fine, Luhannie," convinced Chen. "You don't have to worry anymore. For now, why don't we---"

Before Chen could finish his words, the door swung open. They all turned around and saw Emi's bewildered expression. "I'm sorry. They almost ran as they head to this room and I just thought something's wrong with Lu---with them" she muttered before taking a step away from the door. When she was about to leave, Chen moved behind Kai and approached her. 

"Emi," the cupid called out. 

"Oh Chen! It's you. Wait, how did you get here?" she inquired. "Were you here all along? I was here a moment ago and I left before they came."

Chen smiled, "Let's just say I find ways."

Though confused, Emi just smiled back awkwardly and looked away. 

"Excuse me but we need to have a private conversation," informed Lay without hesitation. Emi turned to him and grimaced. The sleepy cupid tilted his head in confusion, "Was that rude? I said excuse me."

"No," she answered. "I was just thinking. You look unfamiliar. Are you a student here as well?"

Lay blinked a couple of times before he got her point, "Ahhh! I am Luhan's friend. Student? Not really."

"I see," said Emi.

"How could you say that to the student council president, Lay?" uttered Chen, laughing. "She basically has all the rights to use this room. She is also a member of the music club. Don't mind him, Emi. He's just blunt that way. But he doesn't mean to sound rude."

"No it's fine," she quickly respond while shaking her hands. "I was the one who barged in. You can use this room now." Right afer that, Emi excused herself. 

"You know what, Lay" Chen began while patting his shoulder. "I guess you spend a lot of time with DO you're also turning into a sarcastic jack. Careful. You can't find the love you want if you blow if firsthand in every chances you have."

Lay looked at him and shrugged, ignoring his brother's suggestive remark. Luhan just giggled at the corner with Kai.

Present// Flashback

"I wonder what they're doing right now," DO murmured while spending alone time in the palace garden. He was lying on the luscious grasses that comprises a vast portion of the lawn and lazily watching the birds soar across the purple and blue skyline.

He couldn't help but reminisce.

A book flew? A flying book?! A guy with glasses and a heart-shaped lips was leaning on Luhan's desk. "Hi. I'm D.O.I'm his brother. He's the youngest one among us. Nice to meet you, Luhan."

"And here's a special picture of Luhannie taking a shower!!!!!" He raised a photo up in the air. Another cupid popped out behind Baekhyun and took the photo like lightning. "Give me that." 

"D.O!" Baekhyun exclaimed. "That's my photo. I took that!" 

"No," he shoved Baekhyun away. "This is my bookmark. You can't have this." The nerdy cupid immediately tucked the photo in one of the pages of his book. 

D.O took off his glasses very slowly and let Luhan and Kai anticipate what he's about to do next. He gasped before he continued to speak, "Move, Kai." He took several steps towards Luhan. He lifted his arm and brushed his thumb on the latter's lips. "There."

[D.O] I was once told that this happens...

He was slowly releasing the grip.

[D.O] .... when I ....

D.O finally let go of Luhan's hand and continued. His eyes pierced on the latter.

[D.O] ...finally found...

Luhan gazed at his eyes behind the thick glasses; soulful windows filled with deep admiration.

[D.O] ...the person I like.

"Luhan," D.O broke the silence. He leaned closer to Luhan and uttered softly,    "Will you let it grow?"

A loud sigh escaped from DO's mouth. He sat up and put on his glasses before he muttered, "Good memories. I wish I had more of them with Luhan."

In silence, Baekhyun gathered all the printed pictures and put them on the treasure box. When he finished, he sat on the bed and pondered.

"Hi! My name is Baekhyun! I am your fan!" Luhan looked flustered. He blushed all of a sudden when he heard the word "fan". 

Baekhyun smiled innocently. He is staring at Luhan's shyness. "Of course I'll say that. I mean it. You are cute. I know. I watch you when you sleep."  

Baek grinned at him as he opened his bag. He was struggling to find something inside... and not long, he showed them a bulk of Luhan's pictures. "Tadaaa!!!!" He proudly annouced while making Sehun and Tao jealous of all his collections.

"Sleeping Lulu..."

"Eating Hannie"

"Pretty face going to school...."

"Lulu riding a cab..."

 "My Hannie buying food in the cafeteria..."

 "Pretty face after class..."

"And here's a special picture of Luhannie taking a shower!!!!!" He raised a photo up in the air.

"At the count of the three, sway your hands from right to left," instructed Baekhyun. Luhan looked at him with doubting expression. "Trust me. You will love it," Baekhyun added. 1, 2, 3.... Slack-jawed, Luhan looked up with sparkling eyes. He was in a dreamy-like state when he gazed at the lime-colored sheath on the sky.

"It stings," Baekhyun muttered. "I miss Luhannie so much."

Tao threw away his sweat-soaked towel. He kept on practicing to improve his martial arts skill....and to distract himself from remembering. But like his brothers, he just fail again and again. 

“The window…..?” Luhan walked towards the window and cleared up the curtain. He jumped out of fear when he saw a man stuck and hanging in the window glass, looking at him; his eyes bulging with curiosity.

“He really looks like a girl, isn’t he?” The man called Tao murmured.

“I prefer to call him, Lulu, though.”

Luhan turned around and his jaw dropped in awe. His eyes gazed on the people moving in slow motion. Cars and animals motioned languidly. Some things were floating mid-air; vibrant balloons of children playing in a park, confetti which dazzled a concert performance in an open field; even fallen leaves that streams with the wind...He was speechless; trying to see every little thing in that enchanting moment, not wanting to miss anything. He was turning around flawlessly while Tao watches him with admiring eyes. His smile sent a fuzzy feeling on the latter's chest.

I can hear my heart...  it's beating for him. I feel so happy but empty at the same time it's crazy..... 

"Lulu,"Tao thought. "I wish I can spend Xmas with you."

Suho dived in the water and stay underneath for a while. As he drifted, he found himself recollecting precious moments.

"SHHSH SHSH.. hey hey...It's okay," a man suddenly grabbed his hand. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. My name's Suho. Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you please relax and stop punching me awww that hurts!"

Exactly my question!" Suho suddenly blurted out as he turned to them. He looked puzzled. "He's not just beautiful. He is also talented and kind and caring and...Isn't that unfair that we have to deal with him and find someone for him when we ourselves---"

"Suho," Chanyeol called out upon hearing him blab.

"...like him," Suho continued speaking in a fast pace. "I was holding this back for the past days and I...."

"I know I shouldn't paid for that outfit. That was a bad idea," Suho mumbled. "What am I gonna do now? Luhannie might---"

"Hey,"Chanyeol slapped his forehead. "Don't tell me you're turning into one of them." He pointed Sehun, Tao, Baekhyun and D.O who were eyeing Luhan and Mei Lin. "Not you, too, Suho. You know better than that. Pull yourself together."

They dived in quickly; Suho holding Luhan's hand tightly as they made their way deeper in the lake. The said stone was glowing extraordinarily that Luhan was forced to shut his eyes. 

Suho held him closer and signaled him to open his eyes. When he did, the radiant stone was in front of him. He was amazed. Luhan looked up and realized that they're deep down the water. He was starting to feel the lack of air and gestured to Suho that they need to get back to the surface. Suho smiled at him and spoke underwater, "Don't worry. You'll be fine. Breathe." Luhan nodded, "This is really marvelous! A great experience. Who would have thought I can get closer to this beautiful thing?" He smiled like a child which made Suho's heart beat faster. He was in a daze for a moment; just watching Luhan's amused face underwater. 

"I miss the old days with Luhannie. With everyone," thought Suho as he emerged from the water. Kris appeared and joined him in the pool. Without saying a word, he got to understand what's been playing inside his brother's head. He sighed and thought of Luhan, as well. "Memories. If not for him, I wouldn't have remembered her. Luhannie, he's indeed special." Chanyeol and Xiumin hurriedly walked out of their respective rooms and met each other in the hallway. They halted and read each other's expressions. When Chanyeol nodded, Xiumin smiled and followed behind him as they went out of the palace.

“We are very sorry for intruding, Luhan. Let me introduce myself. My name is Chanyeol, and these are my—well—half-brothers, Kai, Tao and Kris. We are here to help you out with—“he drew nearer to Luhan and whispered. “—your special problem.”

Chanyeol rose to his feet and decided to look for Kai when his eyes caught him and Luhan walking side by side along the hallway. He was about to approach them but stopped when he saw their smiling faces. 

"Is it over for the rest?" Chanyeol murmured as he leaned his head against the wall. "Is Kai the one, Luhannie?"

Chanyeol sighed and laughed. "No... I shouldn't put the blame on you. .. Don't get me wrong, Luhannie. I care for you and you are very important to me. Being with you brings us so much joy, despite the little fights along the way. You are special to each one of us.... however, now, I am really bothered about what's happening. I am worried for my brothers...."

"Are you waiting for him, too?" asked Chanyeol who sat down and looked away. "I guess we're waiting for the same person," he uttered. The words freely came out of his mouth like his own breath.

 "This is what I want to do. If I won't spend the holidays with him and everyone else, I will surely regret it," Xiumin mumbled.

Luhan watched the Tom&Jerry scenario for a moment until he lost track of the two. He sighed and turned the other way. He started walking until he reached the exit, when all of a sudden, someone pulled him back. He lost his balance and fell sloppily on the floor.

"AWWW!" Luhan struggled to get up but his was badly hurt, all he could do was rub it in frustration. 

"Luhannie!!!! Help me!!!!" 

Luhan noticed someone lying beside him, hugging him by the waist and sobbing. "Help me!"

"Wha--H-hey...let go!" 

"Please....." The person lifted his head and Luhan's jaw dropped. "Xiumin?!" 

Xiumin suddenly announced, "Who wants to feed Luhannie?!"

The female students rose from their seats in excitement. Luhan felt so embarrassed he wanted to ran away. 

"Well sorry. You can't," Xiumin added teasingly. "It's my job."

"Let's have a celebration. All of us can go to an ice cream parlor or bakery since you love to eat sweets" suggested Luhan. "I'll treat you."

"That's so kind of you, Luhannie," Xiumin was pleased, he tugged Luhan for a hug. "I will be very happy if you do that."

At the gateway from the palace to Earth, Xiumin and Chanyeol found the rest of their brothers. They all looked at each other and couldn't help but laugh at their silly plan. They were thinking of the same thing all along.

"Let's go?" initiated Chanyeol. The rest nodded and vanished.....except for one.

Sehun. While he was flying across the green planet's vast sky, Sehun recalled his bittersweet times with his first love.

"Oh Luhannie? You can call me Sehunnie then."

"He's mine, Kai. Luhannie's mine!"

"Get off my Hannie!"

"What's-- going on?" he murmured. "What..who are you?"

When the man elevated his head, Luhan's jaw dropped, struck dumb; his eyes on stalks as he watched Sehun's lips made its way to his cheek, pressing it gently. His blood ran cold and he wasn't able to move momentarily. He felt a gush of wind across his nape that made him waver away from the unforeseen contact.

"Sehun," Luhan muttered. "Where are you taking me? We need to go back." 

"Somewhere...." the other replied faintly. "Just want to be with you, Luhan."

"Luhannie," Sehun said with emphasis when he noticed Luhan's preoccupied expression.

Luhan jerked and unintentionally pushed Sehun away. "S-sorry...what?"

[Sehun] You were not listening...

[Luhan] No! I was listening. It's just...I am just...I can't get my head around it..

[Sehun] .... 

[Luhan] ....

[Sehun] Is there ..someone else? One of my brothers? Mei Lin?.... 

[Luhan] ....

[Sehun] ...Kai?

Luhan gulped deliberately.

Sehun smirked, "It can't be him, right?" He chuckled. "What am I thinking? Kai isn't the type to run after someone.."

Sehun looked down. "I know. But I can't just let you go." He pulled Luhan for a hug and whispered, "I'm sorry if I'm being selfish. I hate seeing you so sad so  I'll promise you one thing; I'll compete fair and square. If that will make you satisfied, I will do it, Hannie. Don't worry now...Just let me love you."

"This is not about winning or losing in love. I don't care anymore. I just...I just want to see him smile again..."

24th of December~ 7 pm

"Are you ready, Luhan?" asked Kai as he observed Luhan gathering his stuff for the Xmas party in the university. Chen and Lay were also waiting for him to finish up.

"Yes! I'm all set," he answered. He then looked around the room and reminisced the moments from when it all began; from the time he met the strange creature who now owns his heart, to knowing the cupids who turned out to be his good friends, to creating bittersweet memories, to how they drifted away, until that moment when he longed to see them again.

When they were about to leave the room, they heard a tapping on the window. Luhan glanced back; eyes almost jumped out of his face in surprise to see the unexpected guest.

"Can I come in?"

"Sehun...?"

The youngest cupid's awkward face greeted Kai, Luhan, Chen and Lay. They eyes were all fixed on him momentarily before he approached to Luhan and spoke, "I was...I thought I would visit..since it's Xmas--"

Before he could finish his sentence, Kai hit his back, "You came."

Sehun turned to him with a stern expression. But then, he smirked and hit his brother back," I am not the only one. Look." As he pointed outside the window, they saw the rest of the cupids flying towards them. Luhan gulped, teary-eyed. Before his eyes, his wish for Xmas was becoming a reality,"All of you...you...you're here!"

Chen and Lay glanced at each other and felt pleased with the happenings. They were happy not only for Luhan who got his wish, but also for their brothers.

Chanyeol patted Luhan's shoulder endearingly, "I missed you. And I think you know why. I know it's si inappropriate now but I just want you to know. I...I cared for you, Luhannie. Just like my brothers."

"And I am very thankful for all of you. Even though you can be a pain in the , you are all true friends to me," answered Luhan. The rest of the cupids smiled at each other. Somehow, they were content with how things are. Besides, it's Xmas. What more to do than to enjoy and have fun with your special pals?!

Suddenly, the door opened and Luhan's mother entered with Sojun clinging to her skirt. Before her eyes, stood 10 other guys inside her son's room. "What is happening here? Why are there so many people? Who are they, Luhan?"

"Who are they, Luhan?" mimicked Sojun softly.

Luhan and the cupids glanced at each other while the woman waited for an answer.

Chanyeol then stepped forward and gave her the most pleasant smile, "We are Luhan's friends."

Luhan's university~

"Kai, where are you taking me?"

The cupid opened the door and Luhan found himself in the university rooftop, "Let's watch the celebration from here."

"Is that really what you want?"

Kai grinned, "No."

"I knew it," Luhan shook his head, amused. He then walked towards the overlooking area where the celebration can be seen clearly. Kai followed behind him. Below, they saw the rest of the cupids chatting with other students. It stopped snowing, thanks to Xiumin; a good time for them to stroll around the campus. Some were giving each other gifts while most take pictures near the giant Christmas tree.

[Luhan] Look at Xiumin! He's talking to a girl! 

[Kai] You're right.

Just when they thought the eldest one was flirting with the student, Xiumin turned around carrying candy canes. 

[Kai] I should have known.

[Luhan] *laughs You're right. Is that Chen? He's taking pictures with Emi. 

[Kai] And there's the sleepy-head creeping behind them.

[Luhan] Lay! *laughs I didn't notice him.

Kai and Luhan saw Mei Lin near the one of the food stalls and having a conversation with Chanyeol.  "Looks like something happened behind our backs," Luhan glanced at Kai and they both smiled at the sight.

[Luhan] Ahhhh.... This is such a fun night.

[Kai] Indeed.

Luhan breathed heavily as he felt the cold nostalgia; thinking all that has happened. With the bittersweet memories, the happy reunion with the cupids and Kai's love, Luhan couldn't ask for more.

Kai noticed him in deep thoughts. He tugged him for a hug and whispered, "What are you thinking?"

In silence, Luhan embraced him back.

"You still keep his cage," Kai uttered. Luhan opened his eyes and saw the cupid inquiring the hamster cage.

Luhan answered back in a more relax manner, "Oh...Kimmy? Yes." He felt sad when he remembered his lost friend. "It's really lonely without Kimmy. I wish he didn't get lost." The gloomy Luhan moved next to the table where the cage was situated. He was looking at it intently while Kai observed him at the side. 

"You miss him?" Kai asked further. 

Luhan nodded. "I miss him everyday. He was the only friend I got."

The grumpy cupid smiled secretly. "That's nice to hear," he murmured.

"Why are you acting so weird?" Kai blurted out, annoyed. Wanting to check on the injured Luhan, he moved closer to him.

"You're the one who is acting weird!" Luhan screamed back at him as he covered his face. "Suddenly saying those words. Your questions---"

"Alright! Don't answer me if you if that's what you want. I am not forcing you. I just want to check your wound," Kai was trying to convince him. "Let me see it."

Luhan moved his hands downwards as he peeked to see Kai's weary face. He looked away and relaxed. "It's nothing really." He pulled up his pants a little and there was a scar from the fall. 

"This is nothing?" Kai asked him sarcastically. "Wait here. I'll get something." After that, he disappeared. Few seconds passed and he's back again; now with a medical kit to cure Luhan's wound. "There. Next time, be careful. You're such a klutz. You always fall on things and hurt yourself. You're 20 but you act like 5."

The wind turned crisp and chilly. Kai, who was sitting on the edge of the rooftop and watching over them, breathed in but exposed a pained expression afterwards, realizing how the air weakened his chest. He lifted his hand at that moment and watched it tremble.

 He walked towards the door, leaned his forehead and slowly closed his eyes. "You're still there, aren't you?" Kai murmured.

Luhan gasped for air.

"I know you're still there, Luhan."

Luhan quietly took a step away from the door. He was holding his breath.

"Luhan..."

Another step.

"..please stay."

Luhan felt weaker. Taking another step seems harder now. He looked back and gulped; imagining Kai's expression when he uttered those words. He breathed in and turned around only to find himself falling in Kai's arms.

"!"

"Are you hurting, too?"

"Kai.."

 "I have been wanting to say this... but I can't find the courage to do so."

He lifted Luhan's face and saw the latter's stunned expression. "I mean what I am about to say so please listen to me..."

*thunders

Luhan's misty eyes got bigger and he felt all his energy draining. 

Kai cupped his cheeks and pressed his lips on his forehead.

*thunders

"I love you, " Kai whispered softly.

Luhan clutched firmly on Kai's shirt as he controlled his tears. There was silence around them.

"Knowing that you care for me means a lot to me," Kai uttered; he faced Luhan and showed a genuine and almost entrancing smile. "Thank you, Luhan."

Luhan gazed at him for a while. It was the first time he saw Kai's gentle side. It was pleasant and it pacified his throbbing heart. The cupid leaned closer until they can feel each other's breath. 

"So near," Luhan murmured while avoiding the eye contact.

Kai repressed a laugh. "Tomato-face," he said teasingly which made Luhan pout.

"Hey," Kai furthered. He moved closer to Luhan and continued, "Come on, Luhannie. Stop ignoring me."

"That was my first kiss, Kai. You ruined it," Luhan refuted.

Kai frowned and replied, "Ruined. Are you saying that I shouldn't be the one to do it?"

Luhan sighed, "What I was saying is, you should have done it---"

Kai smirked and raised his eyebrows in satisfaction as he leaned back on his chair. Luhan knew he lost the argument again so he retreated quietly and turned away.

"You told me that you won't trust my words after I kissed you at the library," the cupid began to speak in a serious tone. "So if I told you that I won't do something against your will, you won't believe me?"

I'm making him look bad, Luhan thought as he tried to find the right words to say. 

"Let me tell you something TRUE, Luhan," Kai continued. "At this point, I want to kiss you..."

"Do you like me?"

Luhan raised his head and looked at him with bulging eyes. Kai repeated and added, "Don't you think it's time for you finally say it?"

The cornered Luhan gulped and looked away, but it didn't stop the cupid. He cupped his chin and waited for Luhan's answer.

There was silence for a while, until Luhan exhaled deeply and murmured, "I-I like (I don't know what to do anymore...) I-like..(You can do it, Luhan. Just say it already.) I-do..(here I go) I like you." 

"You guess," answered Luhan as he slowly drifted away from the cupid's arms. With his radiant expression, he faced the cupid and closed his eyes. Kai cupped his cheeks at once and leaned closer to him as their lips collide.
