Rap Monster’s POV

“Yah Park Jimin! Jeon Jungkook! Kim Taehyung! Seokjin hyung! Come out!

Dinner is ready!” I yelled as I knocked on the room doors.

I normally don’t really care about them as the YoonSeok couple would be the one

gathering them for dinner but judging by the cheesy atmosphere in the kitchen,

I’d rather be the one to do so. Jimin and Taehyung came out the same

time Seokjin hyung and Jungkook did. They stared at each other with some emotions

that I can’t really identify. I looked back and forth the two pairs.

“Are you guys going to keep staring or are we going to eat?” Jimin gave me a small

smile and pulled Taehyung to the dining table. I shook my head and pushed Seokjin hyung

and Jungkook to the dining table.

Author’s POV

That night, both Jungkook and Jin could not sleep. Jin tossed and turned in his bed,

still feeling guilty and responsible for the chaos recently. Jungkook on the other hand,

laid on his side and stared at Jimin’s peaceful sleeping face. That was the only

time he could stare at his hyung all he want. Without Jimin turning away or without

his other hyungs noticing. No cameras watching their every move.

Being an idol is hard. We’re being watched most of our lives. I miss life as a free student but this

is what I want to do. I chose this path. Wouldn’t have met Jimin if I didn’t. Jungkook thought.

Jungkook took a deep breath before kneeling in front of his sleeping hyung.

His hand reached out to run his hand through Jimin’s soft hair.

“I love you hyung” He whispered and leaned forward to plant a soft kiss on Jimin’s forehead.

He stayed with his lips there for a while before resting his forehead against Jimin’s.

Jin on the other hand decided to go to the balcony of their dorm. But when he opened

the door, another figure was standing at the balcony. “Taehyung?”

His voice came out as a soft whisper but loud enough for V to hear.

The younger turned around and their eyes met with electricity. For a few seconds, neither blinked nor turned

away.“What are you doing out here?” Jin asked as he stood beside the younger.

Taehyung looked down at the streets below them. “I could ask you the same thing”

Jin shrugged “I couldn’t sleep.”

He turned slowly and admired Taehyung’s side view. Should I apologise? End it once and for all?

Taehyung seemed to notice his hyungs’ soft gaze on him. “Stop staring at me, hyung. I’m not food.”

Jin shook his head and looked somewhere else. “I’m not hungry. Tae, about just now...”

Taehyung cut him off. “Everything’s fine, hyung. Just forget it.”

Jin  turned the younger to face him. “No. I have to explain. Back then, when.. you know... the

practice room thing. I told you all those mean things. I didn’t really mean it.

I...i... I had a fear of commitment. And I wasn’t ready for anything. But it doesn’t mean that

I don’t love you. I did. I just I was too shocked. I wanted to be the one saying it.”

When Jin was done, Taehyung was staring at his feet. Jin lifted the younger’s chin gently.

“Taehyung ah, I’m sorry. Please forgive me.”

Taehyung looked away “I’m really okay, hyung” Jin sighed. “Do you still love me?”

Taehyung looked at Jin in shock. That question. He should’ve been prepared for it.

He was even more frozen when Jin pulled him into a hug. “I just want to let you know. I’ll always be waiting.”

Taehyung closed his eyes and tried his best to remember what it felt like.

To love Seokjin. To admire his hyung. To feel happiness by his hyung’s side.

Happiness was there. Why would he push it away when it’s right in front of him?

He’ll be an idiot for pushing Jin away. Wouldn’t he?

Taehyung hesitated but wrapped his arms around the older. It felt different from hugging Jimin.

But it was still better than nothing. Jin tightened the hug with a smile as Taehyung responded.

He let the younger bury his face into the crook of his neck.

Sudden clapping made them pull away and stood awkwardly side by side.

They looked at the door of the balcony where Jungkook was, smiling while clapping at them.

“Hyungs! Don’t stop! Continue hugging!” Taehyung frowned. “Yah! How long have you been there?”

Jungkook pouted and folded his arms. “Long enough!”

“Yah!” They heard Suga scream from his and Hoseok’s room. “Go to sleep or I will kill you tomorrow!”

The three shared a look of horror before running back to their rooms.

Never mess with a sleeping Suga.
