Chapter 7 The Devil and Pain
The Exchange ProgramYou stared at Kris with wide eyes and a half-extended arm to grab the bag. He glanced between you and the bag with a bemused expression gracing his face, "Most men prefer to see these on the girl. . .not on their drink. But maybe that how you tease men in Korea?" He chuckled at the end of his sentence and slightly waved the bag in front of you.
You recovered from your shock quickly and moved to grab the bag from him. He had no problem givng it to you. . .it made you uneasy how willingly he gave it over. You quickly stuffed the bag back in your suitcase before turning your attention back to Kris. It seemed he had either left, gone to the bathroom, or gone back into the kitchen. You hadn't heard the door close, and the bathroom door was still wide open, so you made your way back into the kitchen. You found him with his head in the freezer.
"Um," you said, casting a wary glance, "Care to explain what you're doing. . .in my freezer?" He stuck his head back out, shut the door and turned to you.
"I was looking for the matching set. I assume you kept your bras in the freezer," he flashed the devilish smirk you feared would become his usual look. Your face on the other hand burst into a brilliant red.
'I guess not," he said watching you, "You have nice taste though."

"Yes!" you shouted louder than intended, "Every aspect about you annoys me and it hasn't even been ten minutes.Your stupid smirk, your snide remarks. . .your whole presence!" Your face was red again, Kris was smirking again and there was now a deafening silence between the two of you to make it all that much worse. Your stormed over to the window and opened it, closing your eyes as the cool breeze blew over you.
You mentally counted to ten and turned around, expecting Kris to still be there. He was back in your kitchen looking through your cupboards. You mentally groaned and walked in a 'controlled' manner over to him. You reached out and slammed the cupboard that was open, barely allowing him to remove his head. 'Too bad,' you thought.
"Look they're not in there, okay! They're back in the suitcase," you said exasperated in hopes he would catch on to your tired tone. He looked slightly puzzled, then a look of recognition crossed his features.
"I was looking for some food. . .what were you thinking?"
Never in your life had someone made you feel so dumb. . .so helpless. You were honestly at a loss for words for this 'Kris' fellow. You had know idea how you were going to tolerate him till the end of the week no less the year. You grabbed the sleeve of his t-shirt and tried to yank him towards the door.
"I have had it with you! Get out of my dorm!" You cried out a little too desperatly.
You knew all your spluttering, flustered looks, and frustration was probably only adding fuel to his f
