Chapter 27 Shopping level Chen
The Exchange ProgramIt snowed a total of 3.5 inches before the end of November.
You hadn't seen the boys much since the return from the ski trip. Sure there was the occasional wave in the halls or small talk during class hours, but aside from that; nothing.
You had missed the past two Chinese-American club meetings so that you could catch up with your online classes. Last you heard, Tao wanted it to be changed to Chinese-American-Korean club now that they had you.
Soon it was December first, much to everyone's disbelief. You just recieved a care package from Jaejoong and decided to bring it with you to the Chinese-American (-Korean) meeting that afternoon.
The boys were overjoyed to find their favorite Korean snacks and candies included in the box, and you were barely able to save any for yourself.
"So," Chen spoke up around a mouthful of peppero, "What are we doing for Christmas?"
"It better not invovlve Denny's," Luhan grumbled in the corner, folding his arms out of seriousness.
Kris scofffed, "No, I am not entrusting cooking to Jangmi again."
"So what are we doing then?" Lay asked pointedly.
"What we always do; buy gifts for each other, decorate on Christmas eve and spend the day at Xiuhan's dorm," Kris offered. The was a simoultaneous scoff from two boys in the corner,
"Forget it," Xiumin growled, "Do it at Lay and Chen's apartment; you're not going anywhere near our apartment this time." There was a wave of eye rolls that swept the room at his comment.
"I'll get decorations!" Chen said, he pulled you closer to him, "I call taking Jangmi with me!" Lay nodded enthusiastically,
"Good idea. A woman's touch will help for decoration," you rolled your eyes at his comment but also didn't protest. You did like Christmas after all.
"Fine but drive safely," Kris piped up reaching to grab the peppero box from Chen, "The roads have been icy lately."
"Of course," Chen said brushing it off, "I'll pick you up tomorrow after class," he informed you.
