3^rd POV

Last night, Kyuhyun went home, he couldn’t sleep. The guilt was obvious in his bones, and it annoyed him. It annoyed him so much, that he simply stayed up half of the night, reflecting, thinking about what he should’ve said and what he shouldn’t have. It was idiotic of him to say such rude words such as, “I didn’t feel anything” when he obviously did—even though he refused to admit it.

Now, in the December air, he just sat in the park, enjoying the view. For some strange reason, he liked the park. The way it was so simple during the winter. Rather than all these inanimate objects, bursting of color, they were all covered in a blanket of snow. He enjoyed how little people were outside due to the winter, it felt right.

I’m an idiot, he thought, over and over again. It was the only thing that did come to his mind. How much he hurt the poor girl. Alex was his friend. But for him to betray her like that?

He felt less than a human being, he felt like a worthless snail that does nothing but slug on.

Kyuhyun let his back rest against the bench, looking into the sky He looked at his right hand and noticed the bandied arm.. A smile fell on his face, but then he remembered what he said afterwards.

Kyuhyun, you’re such an idiot!

He sighed, listening to the rock-ballads he’d been listening to for the past 20 minutes.

Suddenly, his phone rang.

He looked down and was obviously surprised that Alex’s name flashed on his phone’s screen. Could she be calling because she forgave me? He thought as he picked it up, answering it with a simple, “Hello?”

However, disappointment flooded his mind when it turned out to be none other than Henry Lau.

“Hello? Kyuhyun?” Henry started, “Yeah, hey, I was wondering if you’d like to come over to Alex’s place for lunch. It’s kinda boring with it being just me and her.”

Kyuhyun knew he wanted to, but he answered, “I don’t think Alex would like that.”

“Why?” Henry pouted, holding the phone closer in his ear as he pushed Alex, who was trying to grab the phone from him, away. “Of course she wants to see you!” he then chuckled, “When doesn’t she?” Henry asked, glancing at Alex who was now blushing.

Kyuhyun held onto the phone and chuckled, “Well, I dunno.”

“Aw! C’mon! Be a sport! She won’t mind, I swear!” Henry says, winking at Alex, knowing that he was torturing her.

Kyuhyun smiled, “Alright, I guess.”

“Yes? Okay! Wonderful! See you there!” Henry said before hanging up.

Kyuhyun looked at his phone. Maybe this was his chance. A chance to apologize to Alex in private, something to make her forgive him. He felt bad already, he felt like a player.

Soon, he got up and started to walk to her place. Alex’s apartment was so familiar to him, mostly because he walks there often.

“Henry, I’m going to kill you.” Alex says, glaring at the chipmunk.

Henry closed the phone, he finished calling Donghae, before he gave Alex a confused look. “What do you mean?”

Alex tackled him, strangling his neck, “YOU ARE DEAD TO ME!”

“UWA?!” Henry gasped.

She started to shake him, still holding his neck, “YOU IDIOT!”

“WHAT? THIS IS A CELEBRATION FOR YOU!”

“FOR WHAT?”

“GOING OUT ON A DATE!”

“NOT WITH SEUNGHYUN!”

“BWOH?”

Frustration and anger filled Alex’s head as she let go. “He had work, so I was about to go home. But then I bumped into Kyuhyun and we went out on a date.”

Henry sat up, still confused.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Alex glared at him, mouthing, “If that’s him, you’re dead.”

Henry held his hands up defensively. Alex walked over, and opened the door, silently relieved that it was just Siwon who was at the door.

“Oh, Siwon.” Alex smiled, sliding over to let Siwon walk in.

“Hey, um…” he leaned over to Alex’s ear, “Is Henry going to kill us all.”

Henry, who was still in the kitchen, looked at Siwon. “Woah, really? I’m right here.”

Siwon smiled, “OH! Henli!” he starts, opening his arms.

“Siwon, shoes.” Alex reminds him, glaring at his shoes.

“Sorry.” Siwon says.

“Being American now?” Henry smirked.

“Shut up, Canada.”

Henry rolled his eyes, working on the food as he did earlier. Alex walked back to the couch, reading her book once more. Siwon followed, sitting there awkwardly, trying to start a conversation.

“So? Are you dating that…That Seunghyun guy?”

“For the last time, no.” Alex says, not taking her eyes off her book, “He just did that because of the spur of the moment. Nothing more, nothing less.”

“Aish.” Siwon sighs, “Alright, I get it. You’re annoyed.”

“Not really, I just don’t get why you keep asking me that, I feel absolutely no spark with him.”

“Then…Do you feel any sparks with any other guys?” Siwon asked.

“SHE DOES!” Henry yelled, raising his arm, running out of the kitchen. “It’s her ‘Math Genius’”

Alex looked up, glaring at Henry, mouthing the words, “You’re dead to me.”

Henry smiled, mouthing the words, “I know.”

Siwon looked at both of them confused. “Math Genius?” he asks, “Who’s that?”

“No one.” Alex sternly says, giving Henry the death stare.

Henry smiles, going back into the kitchen to work on the lunch. Siwon looks at Alex, “Who’s Math Genius?” Siwon ask, “C’mon Alex! I won’t you! I swear!”

“SIWON!” Alex blushed, “I don’t like anyone! Henry’s just saying that!”

Siwon sighs, trying to think up of another conversation starter. “Oh, did you know that Park Hayoung is getting married?”

Alex suddenly closed her book, “Her?” she starts. “What kind of man would want to marry someone as rude as her?” she asks, remembering all the bad things that Park would use to do to her.

“I dunno, she just invited me to her wedding.”

Alex groaned. Park Hayoung was the girl who was in the same grade as Alex, but she hated our Alex. Always making Alex the one left out in class.

“That’s not right!” she says, “How can she get married—at such a young age—but I can’t even find a man?”

“Probably because your type is someone that looks like, or reminds you of Leonardo Dicaprio?”

“Don’t judge me! Have you seen his movies?” Alex asks, patting her heart, “That man is amazing.”

“It’s just that…Alex, this is Korea, you don’t find Americans that easily.”

Alex smiled, shaking her head. “Just wait! One day, I’m going to move to America and find a guy like him!”

“Good luck.” Siwon says.

“I’ll get it!” Henry suddenly says. Alex and Siwon ignore Henry as they continued on their conversation. Henry opened the door. “Oh! What are you two doing together?”

Chae and Donghae walked in, “I dunno, we just came up at the same time.” Donghae shrugged his shoulders.

“I’m almost done.” Henry says, then he noticed Kyuhyun walking out of the elevator. “Woah! Math Genius!” Henry yelled, waving his hand.

That caught Siwon’s attention. He looked up, but only saw Chae and Donghae walk into the living room. Donghae sat next to Alex, and Chae next to Siwon.

Meanwhile, Henry was grinning at Kyuhyun like a madman—making Kyuhyun a little bit confused. “So~” he starts. “How was your date with my baby?”

Kyuhyun froze, “Did she tell you?” he nervously asked.

Henry nodded, with a proud smile still on his face, “Course! She’s like my twin, you know? We have this twin telepathy thing going on.” Henry says, moving his fingers to motion telepathy.

Kyuhyun stared at him, “And you don’t want to kill me?”

“Kill you?” Henry blinked, but then laughed, “EYY!” he says, nudging Kyuhyun’s shoulder, “Unlike how Siwon and Donghae would react, I’m happy!”

Kyuhyun was confused, but he didn’t let his confusion show on his face. He smiled, nodding at Henry, “Well, what are we eating?” he asked him.

Henry walked over to the counter, “Random food.” He says, “Stuff I bought at the store, some I made, and some I cheated on by buying.”

Kyuhyun couldn’t help but chuckle, nodding his head. “Well, were do I…?” he asked, confused as to where he would sit.

“Living room.” Henry says, “What? Is this your first time here? That’s the only place where you can wait.”

The elder couldn’t help but pat Henry’s back, laughing. “Oh, you and your accent.” He starts, walking into the room. However, he froze almost immediately when he saw Chae sitting there.

Kinda like a filler chapter, but anyways! Do you guys like the 3rd POV? I don't think it's that much of a diffrence in writing, and I think it's easier because the readers can see what happens in both of the person's minds...What do you guys think?

And since not a lot of you guys commented for Henry, I tried to kill him for a moment -.- Sheesh, my threats are real! You know? D":
