Baekhyun stretched himself out on the bench outside the Main Wing's main auditorium and watched the stars above his head, glittering against the darkness beyond. It was nothing short of beautiful, amazing. And he closed his eyes to imagine what his life would be like....if he was living another person's life.

Chanyeol.

"Hey." A familiar deep voice suddenly greeted him, and Baekhyun jolted from his zen time. He found Chanyeol's face looking down at him, and for a moment, his heart palpitated.

"How did you find me?" Baekhyun asked, amused. He was pretty good at disappearing off from crowds so Chanyeol's presence actually surprised him.

"I knew you would be here." The lanky male said, taking a seat beside Baekhyun. "Stargazing tonight?"

"Yeah. It's not like I could fall asleep at a time like this. I still have one last performance to go. Do you see that big star over there? The one that's shimmering brighter than the rest." Baekhyun pointed a finger, and Chanyeol turned to look, following the long slender finger until he saw the brightest star in the sky.

"Yeah, I can see it. Wow, it's bright! And why is it bigger than the others?" He asked, gazing at it excitedly. Every other star looked small in comparison.

"That's....well, that's you, Chanyeol."  The giant whipped his head around to look at Baekhyun. The older boy had his head bowed, probably blushing from his words. "You're the star that lights up my heart. And do you see the small one next to it? It's small and frail-looking, but with you around, everyone could see it too. You make it feel special, Chanyeol ah. You make me feel special."

Baekhyun took in a deep breath and exhaled loudly. He was glad to finally get this off his chest. It had been eating at him for days now. Everytime Chanyeol stepped within the boundaries of his sight, his head would spin and his heart would cease. Everything else suddenly didn't matter to him, and it was distracting him so much that he started finding out what this meant.

Kyungsoo told him it was love. Yeah, doe-eyed boy would have known better. He was in love with a god. And so Baekhyun took his frat mate's words to heart and tried to believe it. Really really tried to believe it.

Chanyeol was always there, lurking just beyond his reach, but somehow managed to squirm through close enough for Baekhyun to smell him. And it was killing him inside. This secret he couldn't tell.

And now that he did....

"Y-you....Baehkyun ah...." Chanyeol stuttered, trying to form the right words.

"Yes, Yeollie?"

He didn't want to make any assumptions, but damnit, he didn't want to get rejected either. Oh great, now he was making assumptions. Stupid brain. ing nerves. Bloody butterflies eating away his intestines. Ugh! Was it supposed to hurt even before Chanyeol says anything? Fake smile, Byun Baekhyun.

If Chanyeol says no, then just run as far away as you could like a dramatic diva you are and bury yourself under a pile of snow-----

"Baekhyun ah, I'm in love with you."

Well. That was totally expected. Baekhyun had been so nervous about this that he didn't know if he should scream or cry in joy when Chanyeol announced his feelings.

"Y-you do? Are you sure about that? Does your heart go crazy everytime I'm near?"

"Yes. I literally stop breathing for a few seconds." Chanyeol chuckled.

"Do you feel like touching me? Hold my hands, kiss me, all those cheesy Jongin and Kyungsoo do for a living..."

The giant nodded, with a large smile plastered on his face.

"And do you want to spend the rest of your life with me?"

Another nod. And that was all it took before Baekhyun started bawling his eyes out like a crybaby, wiping away the tears on his cheeks roughly.

"Shh....why are you crying, Baekkie?" Chanyeol asked, loving the way Baekhyun's new nickname seemed to be rolling out from his mouth smoothly. He scooted closer and held the older boy in his arms, resting his head on Baekhyun's shoulder, and gently patting the elder's back.

"I-I'm just so happy...." Baekhyun cried out between hiccups of tears. He wrapped his arms around the giant's neck and sniffed the manly cologne Chanyeol wore. He missed this smell, and it had only been a few hours since he last sniffed the younger male. 

Chanyeol chuckled then, unable to resist this cute side of Byun Baekhyun anymore. He had never seen Baekhyun cry, and he didn't want it to happen again. Not for bad reasons anyway. So right after Baekhyun has calmed down, he pulled back his embrace and tilted the boy's chin up to lock their lips together. To say there was no fireworks would be an understatement.

To Chanyeol, Baekhyun was the brightest star in his life, lighting up his happiness wherever he was. He thought of Baekhyun when he practiced for the soccer tournament. He dreamt about the elder in his sleep every night, and he woke up with a smile every morning. Really, there was no one more significant than this boy he now held in his arms, kissing him to the high heavens.

When he eventually pulled back from the kiss, Baekhyun's lips were swollen and wet, and Chanyeol would have to say the same for himself. He rested his forehead against Baekhyun's after that, and five words left his lips, that only the elder could hear.

"Would you be my boyfriend?"

Baekhyun promptly nodded then.

And they were officially together.
