So, here's an update that will probably shock you guys. Hahaha. Don't hate me.

It turned out that Joonmyeon's best friend had a cousin coming over for a week.

"Kris?" Jongdae said the moment they stepped into the moderate-sized apartment. Joonmyeon was shocked to see Kris too, and damn it, that guy had the biggest grin on his face when Kyungsoo entered into the picture.

"Kyungsoo." The older male called out, gathering everyone's attention towards a startled Kyungsoo.

"You." Kyungsoo murmured back.

"Siwon!" Joonmyeon greeted his best friend. Eventhough Joonmyeon was much younger than Siwon, they had known each other for five years, ever since Joonmyeon graduated from high school. Siwon was the one who found him wandering the streets alone five years back, when Joonmyeon had lost his way home and took shelter in one of those back alley bars.

The older male happened to be working in the bar Joonmyeon chose. He gave the younger boy a shot of vodka and gin to welcome the country-bred youngster, and because Joonmyeon had such a low alcohol tolerance, he ended up wandering the streets in a drunken state.

Siwon found him singing in some corner near the bar after he was done with work, so he took the poor boy home, and they became friends since.

"Hey Myeonie. That's quite a crowd you brought along." Siwon greeted with a smile. He was just about to serve his cousin and his cousin's currently missing best friend some beer, when Joonmyeon and his troupe appeared. Despite the lack of space his apartment offered, he welcomed the boys into his humble home, telling them to sit wherever they felt comfortable.

Kyungsoo chose the chair that placed him as far away from Kris as possible. And Joonmyeon naturally fell back onto the couch. It felt like home being in Siwon's apartment again, and he was just so glad to see his best friend. Jongdae sat on the carpeted floor in the middle of the living room, with a pabo smile on his face.

While Siwon went off to the kitchen once more to get more drinks, Kris started a small conversation with the beta guys. His eyes were on Kyungsoo the whole time when he spoke to them. The younger boy promptly looked away because he didn't want to remember what Kris did to him two days ago.

"I didn't know you and Siwonnie are related." Joonmyeon said. "I couldn't have guessed it too. You guys look so different."

"He's not my first cousin, actually. Twice removed. But we're close since we spend a lot of time hanging out in the city when I first came to Seoul. He helped me to adapt with the life here." Kris remarked. "Kyungsoo ah, you never said where you came from."

Kyungsoo heard the flirtatious tone in that bastard's voice. And the statement sounded like a demand, rather than a question. He groaned to himself, before facing Kris to answer, "I'm from Gyeonggie Province."

"Uh, well, you know where I'm from."

Joonmyeon and Jongdae honestly had nothing to say to interrupt their conversation. It was just so random for Kris to ask about another's person's life. And Kyungsoo, to boot. Siwon and Tao gloriously slipped into the living room after that, and Kyungsoo secretly thanked them under his breath. He didn't want to have anything to do with Kris.

"Ok, I've got some movies here. And Tao brought the drinks." Siwon announced. Tao appeared behind him with a tray of six fully-filled glasses of cocktail, probably something Siwon whipped out from his own experience as a bartender. Kris took the first glass, and Kyungsoo took the second one. They waited until everyone had their own drinks, before Siwon sat down on the couch next to Joonmyeon and the real conversation began.

Needless to say, Kyungsoo was having a hard time trying to catch up with their jokes, especially when a certain someone was annoying the out of him. He didn't know why Kris was acting this way. Heck, they'd only started talking with each other two days ago. Kris didn't even know of Kyungsoo's existence before that.

And suddenly, he was freely teasing the younger boy, as if he had known Kyungsoo for years.

Kyungsoo shifted uncomfortably on his wooden dining chair and debated whether to saunter over to Jongdae or not. No, it was too near to Kris, and that might trigger some misunderstanding with the arrogant sitting on an armchair near Jongdae. He preferred keeping his distance, even if meant suffering a sore later.

"So Kyungsoo ah, do you have a talent?" Siwon asked, purposely steering the conversation away from Joonmyeon's attempt to showcase his girl group dance skill. Not that he disliked Joonmyeon's dancing, he'd just seen enough of it in the past.

"I can sing." Kyungsoo replied honestly.

"Oh, that's cool. Why don't you demonstrate a song for us?"

Kyungsoo tensed. A part of him wanted to entertain this request, but another part was still wary of Kris. Ugh, that no-good piece of . Did he have to grin like that?!

"Sure." Kyungsoo eventually relented, deciding that he'd do it as gratitude for Siwon's kindness, and not because he wanted to wipe that stupid smirk off Kris's face with his vocal ability.

The guys applauded him as he stood up and cleared his throat. Silence soon blanketed the whole living room as Kyungsoo started.

"If I told you I was perfect, I'd be lying...if there's something I'm not doing, boy, I'm trying..."

Kris literally had his mouth hanging open by then as his eyes fixed on the younger boy standing in front of them. This was Kyungsoo in his element. He wished he had heard more of Kyungsoo's deep soothing voice during the Christmas performance. But he had such a small part in the songs because Jongdae's and Baekhyun's voice eventually led the whole performance. It was sad really, though he admitted they were equally good at singing.

But he wanted to hear Kyungsoo's voice again. And it was actually happening right then, with no Jongin in sight. How lucky Kris felt.

"I know I'm no angel....but I'm not so bad...no no no~"

The other guys swayed along with their eyes closed, and Jongdae was snapping his fingers, giving Kyungsoo some kind of beat.

"If you see me at the party conversating, that doesn't mean telephone numbers are exhanging...I know I'm no angel, boy~"

Kris liked the way that deep voice seemed to echo through the apartment. It was as if Kyungsoo was singing in an open studio.

" But I'm not so bad, no no no, you should know there's beautiful girls all over the world, I could be chasing but my time will be wasted, they got nothing on you baby, nothing on you baby, yeah~"

He ended the song with a smile, and Kris simply sat quietly in his armchair, lips pursed and eyes wide. His ears turned a few shades of red when Kyungsoo suddenly turned his way and shot a quick grin at him. For Kyungsoo, it was like revenge to see his enemy so stunned by the things he did. He never failed to surprise the people around him.

Siwon and Tao were amazed too, of course, but they had the decency to clap at his performance. Jongdae's and Joonmyeon's faces were b with smiles. And Kyungsoo felt so content with his effort that day.

Right before sunset, Kyungsoo got up and announced that he was going home. He had to go somewhere for dinner later. Jongdae pouted at this. He wanted Kyungsoo to stay with him until midnight, but he also knew enough about Jongin's attitude to allow Kyungsoo to leave. Kyungsoo bade farewell to his frat mates and told them to lock up first if he ended up coming home too late.

He left by himself after that, and not long before he even reached the nearest bus stop, someone suddenly tapped him on the shoulder and slammed their lips together into a rough kiss. Kyungsoo was so shocked to see Kris's face in front of him that his body literally froze as the older boy deepened the kiss with his tongue.

All Kyungsoo could think about at that moment was how dangerous the whole situation seemed. Kris knew that Jongin and him were in a relationship. He also knew how Jongin's character was. Yet, he chose to go behind his own frat mate's back and do this kind of .

How much more of a ing can Kris be? Kyungsoo felt like he'd just commited all the seven deadly sins in the world. A part of him actually liked this! God.

And if it wasn't bad enough, fate simply had to up his life and make it worst.

"Kyungsoo?" A familiar voice called out from behind. Kyungsoo's mind jerked into action and he realized that something really bad had just happened.

"." He muttered under his breath.

Kyungsoo immediately shoved Kris away hard, breaking their not-so-innocent kiss, and Kris, damn him, looked extremely flushed after that. It was the face of someone who clearly enjoyed what he did, and had actually meant it. But Kyungsoo didn't give a about Kris at the moment, because when he turned around, he was met with the sight of Jongin with one arm wrapped around a girl's neck, someone that Kyungsoo didn't recognize.

And boy, jealous Jongin was never a good sign.

But for Kyungsoo, what hurt the most was the fact that Jongin had found him in such an embarrassing state. And the younger boy didn't even allow him a chance to explain what happened before he walked away, fingers intertwined with the girl next to him.

It literally broke Kyungsoo's heart that night.

And I know I sound like I'm over-analyzing this , but I was hoping that maybe....just maybe....D.O was singing it to someone. You know, like Kris or Kai. Hahaha. Kris looked like he was falling in love with D.O in that video.

Damn you Krisoo, for ruining my Kaisoo feels.
