erted Junhyung?
Money Can't Buy Me Love, But I Can Rent It
Junhyung sighed to calm himself as he looked at his car. To be honest, I didn’t think it was that a big deal, but then again… Yoseob did mention during the car drive, that Junhyung loves this car more than his mother… Ok, that was a bit exaggerated, but still…He loved it.
He clenched his fist and gritted his teeth, again, it was quiet comical. I could literally see the steam come out.
“You okay, Junhyung?” I asked, a bit concerned. I mean, it was just a car.
“Yeah…” He assured me, “I’m fine…”
“You don’t seem fine…” I whispered, afraid of his behavior. Plus the still silence influenced me.
“I am, I am,” Junhyung seemed irritated.
“Um…” I said, “I could pay for that…”
“How?” Junhyung asked, “The money you get comes from me, and it’s nearly not enough for this!”
“Well…” I say, playing with my fingers and looking down at the ground, “I could always work for it…It’s my fault too you know…”
Junhyung sighed, “No, I got this.”
“Well, I wanna help somehow,” I decided, literally putting my foot down. He looked away from his car when he heard my foot stomp, and saw me pouting, “It’s the least I could do for making you go out and drink and for letting Yoseob drive the car.”
“You want to help?” Junhyung asked, then pushed me out of the garage, “Go change and shower or something…I’ll handle this.”
“But you’re still feeling bad from last night!” I say.
“Don’t put it like that,” Junhyung looked away, “It sounds weird.”
“You !” My mouth dropped, “I’ll get ready! I‘m coming whether you want me to or not!”
“Fine, fine,” Junhyung sighed, “Five minutes.”
“No fair!” I whine, “My showers take much longer than that! Just wait up, okay?”
I left with a smile as Junhyung nodded with a half smile. I really did like my job, at least my boss wasn’t half bad, you know?
