Sunny was still laughing when she reached the living room; jessica, seohyun, and yoona were already done changing and now they’re just sitting on the couch watching some tv shows while waiting for the others. Manager Oppa was on the balcony talking someone to the phone.

 

She sneakily pulled the bean bag, and sits; made herself comfortable and then closed her eyes. The three girls didn’t even notice sunny, since they’re all concentrated in watching.

 

Everybody was done dressing up except for the sleeping bunny on the bean bag. They gathered around sunny, staring at the cute sleeping bunny and wondering how they will wake her up.

 

“Why is she sleeping?” Hyoyeon asked

 

“She hasn’t changed yet.” Tiffany said

 

“Will she go to the event without changing?” Sooyoung inquired

 

“Huh?! She will change… Let’s wake her up now.” Yuri said as she kneeled down but stopped by jessica

 

“Wait! I’ll take a picture first of that cute bunny before you wake her up.” Jessica said as she fish-out her phone from her pocket.

“Okay, unnie I guess that’s already enough… so can we now?” Yoona asked

 

“Aigoo… cute! Oh yeah… hehehe” Jessica answered

 

“Let me wake her up unnie” Seohyun volunteered

 

“Sure…” Tiffany replied

 

“Sunny unnie… Sunny unnie…. Sunny unnie… wake up….” Seohyun called out while shaking the sleeping bunny…

 

Seohyun stopped shaking her when she moved, but sunny just shifted from other position still eyes closed.

 

“Girls… should we? I think we all should wake her up… not just Seohyun…” Yuri said as she shows how to do it. (Kicking the bean bag)

Taeyeon’s POV

 

“Aish! That bunny just run away and throwing this bunny shirt? Tsk! Ok fine, I’ll wear this one for her sake. It looks fine with me… hehehe… Now let me hunt down that bunny.”

Taeyeon walking out of their room

 

“Hmmm… What were those girls doing? Don’t tell me? My goodness….”

“Yah! Yah! Yah! What were you doing?” Taeyeon asked the girls as she approached them

 

“We’re waking up the sleeping bunny.” Yuri replied pointing at the bean bag

 

“What did you do to her last night taeyeon?” inquired hyoyeon

 

“Did you let her play games overtime?” jessica asked

 

“Did you keep disturbing her? Did you… Did you… Did you scold her?” sooyoung questioned

 

“Woooh… woooh… stop… stop… stop… I didn’t do anything, mind you; we slept peacefully and comfortably last night. She didn’t play or even touch her nintendo ds; you know, I’m also wondering why she’s been this sleepy. Have you even noticed that she’s thinner now and kinda pale?” taeyeon said

 

Everyone turned to look at the girl sleeping, spotting the changes that taeyeon pointed out.

 

“Yeah… She’s really thinner and kind of pale now.” Jessica said as she kneeled down to look at sunny thoroughly.

 

Everyone nodded in agreement.

 

Sunny slowly opened her eyes as she already felt uncomfortable from her sleeping position. She smiled when she saw jessica in front of her and asked; “Is there anything wrong sica-ah?”

 

Jessica just gave out a sly smiled, pulled sunny up and then gave her a big hug.

 

“Nothing’s wrong… everything’s fine… I just missed you sunny-ah…”

 

“Oh okay…” sunny said as she hugged back

“Ehem… *taeyeon’s clearing * I guess, soonkyu’s already up, now let her dressed up.” Taeyeon said

 

Sunny’s POV

 

“Huh?! Why should I? Oh crap! They still didn’t know. Inhale… Exhale… I need to think of something… brain work… work… work…”

“Oh yeah… I could tell them that I needed to be with umma today, that we have some important matters to discuss, yes! That would be it. Hehehe… I’m so witty… oh yeah!”

Jessica helped sunny to stand up, when manager oppa announced;

 

“LET’S GO GIRLS… WE DON’T WANT TO JAM IN TRAFFIC… LET’S GO…”

 

“Oppa, Sunny’s not yet ready, she didn’t even change.” Hyoyeon informed manager oppa

 

Manager oppa was busy reading some messages and answering calls that he didn’t mind what Hyoyeon had said.

 

“GIRLS WE REALLY NEED TO GO NOW…” manager oppa said eyes still on his phone

 

“But oppa, sunny’s not ready yet.” Sooyoung said

 

“Sunny? Why should she be with us? She’s not allowed to stress up from schedules, she’s supposed to be resting, free from any anxiety. That’s what her doctor advised, and Mrs. Lee strictly requested or rather imposed that sunny will be temporarily be inactive as an artist until her doctor cleared her up. Mrs. Lee will be here any moment from now; they have a scheduled checkup.” Manager Oppa explained forgetting that sunny’s condition should be kept a secret.

 

“So… gi…rls… now… let’s … go…” manager oppa looked up to see sunny glaring at him, and realizing what he had just said… “Oh boy… I’m dead…” he thought

Sunny was about to give her reason, when she heard their manager oppa talking; she felt like her blood was out from her body, suddenly it became freezing cold… She tried to relax but she couldn’t. She cleared a few times, trying to catch the attention of their manager oppa, but she failed…

 

“I’M BUSTED… GREAT!” sunny thought

“Girls let’s go now… please…” manager oppa said as she looked to sunny and mouth ‘I’m sorry’ to sunny with a sad expression

 

“Oh well, sooner or later they will still know about this.” Sunny thought as she gave a reassuring smile to manager oppa that’s okay.

The girls attention were now on sunny, those questioning eyes, waiting for her to talk, to explain things to them, to clear everything up.

 

“Are you really sick?” yuri asked

 

“As in really really really sick?” hyoyeon inquired

 

“Is it complicated?” sooyoung questioned

 

“Why didn’t you tell us unnie?” yoona probed

 

“Why sunny unnie?” Seohyun followed up

 

“Sunny-ah… don’t you trust us?” tiffany said

 

“All for one… One for all… right? Jessica asked

 

Taeyeon just kept silent while the others bombarded sunny with questions. She just stared blankly at sunny’s poker face trying to keep herself calm amidst the situation.

 

Taeyeon’s POV

 

“She’s sick? My bunny’s sick… Why didn’t I notice it? How could I? She promised me that she will be my LIGHT… but my light needed light too… Aish! Pabo taeyeon! You even scolded her last night... you made her sad… you made her cry… oh my goodness… KIM TAEYEON… WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?” slapping herself mentally

 

“Girls, stop… We don’t want to stress soonkyu-ah. She’s still not feeling well, let’s reserved our questions later ok? But the questions should not be nerve-wracking… For the meantime, let’s just leave soonkyu-ah to rest, so that she could answer all our queries later tonight.” Taeyeon said as she smiled at sunny.

 

Everyone nodded in agreement.

 

“Take a rest ok?”

 

“Don’t play games…”

 

“Just sleep… and eat…”

 

“Be good…”

 

“Update us regarding your checkup later ok?”

 

“Extend our regards to your mom.”

 

“Assure her that we will take good care of you.”

 

Each and every one walked out of the dorm as soon as they finished giving their piece of reminders to sunny. Taeyeon just looked at sunny and then gave out a small smile before turning her back to leave; but before she could step out of the dorm, sunny pulled her for a hug.

 

“Taeyeonnie… are you mad at me?” sunny asked hugging taeyeon

 

Taeyeon couldn’t say anything; instead she just hugged sunny back.

 

“I’m sorry taeyeonnie… I… I… I just don’t want you guys to worry about me… I’m sorry…” sunny said softly controlling herself not to cry.

 

“Sssssh…. It’s ok… I should be the one to be sorry of, I should have noticed that you’re already not feeling well; but instead I scolded and made you cry… I’m sorry soonkyu-ah… I’m really sorry…” taeyeon said as she hugged sunny tightly

 

“Taeyeonnie…” sunny murmured as she nuzzled on taeyeon’s neck

 

“Soonkyu-ah… don’t you dare leave me again ok? Don’t leave me without saying a thing…”

 

“I won’t… I won’t taeyeonnie…”

 

“Promise me that when we come back you’ll still be here… Promise me soonkyu-ah…”

 

Sunny looked at taeyeon straight into her eyes, she caressed her cheeks, and then smiled.

 

“I promised taeyeonnie… I promised…” sunny said as she kissed her on cheeks

 

“They’re already waiting for you taeyeonnie… you better get going now…” she said as she released herself from the embrace.

 

Taeyeon pouts… she wanted more… “Arasso… don’t break your promise soonkyu-ah…”

 

“hahahaha… silly… I won’t… now go…”

 

“I’ll text you… I’ll call you ok?”

 

“Okay… but I couldn’t assure you that I could answer or reply to your calls and messages immediately… I might be sleeping soundly or hook up from my checkup… I’ll just inform umma to answer your calls if I’m not available…”

 

“Yes Ma’am! Hehehe…” Taeyeon answered pulling sunny for another hug…

 

“Uhmmm… Soonkyu-ah…. I’m gonna miss you….”

 

“I’m gonna miss you too taeyeonnie…” sunny replied hugging the girl tightly before letting her go.

 

“Soonkyu-ah…”

 

“Go now taeyeonnie…” sunny said smiling…

 

“Soonkyu-ah…”

 

“I’ll be fine, don’t worry too much…”

 

“Arasso… bye soonkyu-ah…”

 

“Bye taeyeonnie…”

 

But before taeyeon turned her back, she pulled sunny closer, giving a quick kiss on her lips, and then she ran out immediately grinning like an idiot….

 

“hahaha… I just kissed her!” taeyeon screaming in her thoughts

 

Sunny was quite shocked from taeyeon’s action.

 

“Geez! That kid really… giving a lightning kiss…” sunny thought shaking her head as she closed the door...

Sunny’s POV

 

“Oh well, I’m alone… *yawning* it’s nice to sleep when it’s this quiet… but umma will be here sometime soon… I guess I should sleep at the couch so that I could readily hear the doorbell…”

 

Sunny entered her shared room with taeyeon when her phone rings.

 

“Hello?”

 

“Soonkyu-ah…”

 

“Ne Umma…”

 

“I will be a little late okay? Umma needs to settle important things. Your checkup will be later this afternoon.

Let’s have lunch together, what does my baby soonkyu wants?” Mrs. Lee asked

 

“As long as there’s pork, chicken, or beef meat… soonkyu-ah’s okay with it umma…” sunny replied baby talking…

 

“Aigoo… baby soonkyu really wants meat… arasso… umma will provide anything baby soonkyu wants…’

 

“Yey! Soonkyu-ah really loves umma…”

 

“And Umma also loves Soonkyu-ah”

 

“Hehehehehe… I’ll be waiting for you umma…”

 

“Ne… Don’t play games okay… just take a sleep… did you already take your medications?”

 

“Yes umma…”

 

“Good girl… I need to go now soonkyu-ah… see you later…”

 

“Take good care umma… bye…”

Sunny was now comfortably lying on the couch, was about to close her eyes when her phone rings. She just grabbed her phone on the center table and answered it; her eyes now closed.

 

“Hello?”

 

“Soonkyu-ah, are you feeling better?”

 

“Taeyeonnie?”

 

“What time will be your checkup?”

 

“Taeyeonnie…”

 

“Soonkyu-ah, why aren’t you answering my questions?”

 

“How could I answer all your questions if you keep on asking me before I could give my answer?”

 

“Ooooh… hehehehe… sorry… I’m just… well… worried…”

 

“I told you not to worry too much… I’m feeling better… and my checkup will be later this afternoon…”

 

“Soonkyu-ah…. Ahmmm… I miss you already…” taeyeon said softly as she didn’t want the other girls hear her.

 

“What did you say taeyeonnie? Why were you talking so softly… I could barely hear you…”

 

“I miss you already… I miss miss miss miss miss miss you soonkyu-ah…” taeyeon said softly but repeatedly.

 

Sunny smiled as she understood what taeyeon said… “I miss you too taeyeonnie… I wish you’re here now so that you could be my huggable pillow…”

 

“Soonkyu-ah…” taeyeon said upset

 

“Oh my gosh… taeyeonnie… cheer up! Hehehe I’m just teasing you… do good in your performance… Fighting taeyeonnie! Fighting sonyeoshidae!” sunny said trying to boost up taeyeon’s spirit…

 

“I’m missing you more… soonkyu-ah… Wait for me okay…”

 

“Soonkyu-ah will be patiently waiting for taeyeonnie! Hehehe”

 

“Good… I badly miss you now soonkyu-ah” taeyeon replied pouting...

 

"Taeyeonnie...."
