“Where could she have been? Hmmm” hyoyeon inquired massaging her chin

 

“She might meet someone, don’t you think so?” sooyoung replied wagging her eyebrows

 

“Huh? Who could that be?” yoona butted in

 

“Special someone?” yuri joined in

 

“A special someone? She has a special someone?” jessica repeated

 

“It’s me… I’m her special someone… right?” tiffany answered

 

“Huh?” everyone eyed tiffany

 

“We are all special to taeyeon-unnie…” seohyun concluded

 

“Oooooh….” The girls echoed and nodded in agreement

 

Taeyeon was running toward the cinema, from afar, she already saw the girls conversing animatedly.

 

“Hmmm… what could be their topic?” she thought as she approached the girls

 

“Hey! I’m here!” she said panting

 

“Taetae! Where have you been?” tiffany asked

 

“Did you meet someone special?” yuri inquired

 

“Who was it taeyeon?” sooyoung probed

 

“Should you shared it to us?” hyoyeon added

 

“Unnie! Who was it? Where did the two of you go?” yoona added

 

“Unnies! Let taeyeon-unnie breath, how could she answers all your queries if you kept on asking before she could speak…*sigh*” seohyun said

 

“OOops! Hehehehe” hyoyeon stated scratching her head

 

“Thanks Seo…” taeyeon said after she had enough air... “What do you mean someone special? I’ve met with soonkyu, we just ate some ice-cream.”

 

“Soonkyu? Sunny? Why didn’t you tell us? When? I mean what time? I wanted to spend time with her too…” Jessica voiced out

 

“Tsk! Why should I tell you? I wanted to spend time with her that’s why I didn’t inform the girls especially you, jessica, you already took most of her time… aish!” taeyeon thought

 

“Ahh… actually, she just needed to buy something, and accidentally I saw her, I dragged her for an ice-cream since boredom already consumes me a while ago… hehehe” she reasoned out

 

“Oh! I want to talk to her…” jessica mumbled as she took her phone out

 

“She’s driving right now, and she told me that she wanted to spend quality time with her umma. I suggest that you set aside calling her and wait for her when she comes home later tonight…” taeyeon stated

 

“Did she really?” jessica raising her brows

 

“Yes! She did!”

 

“Unnies, the movie will about to start, I think we should go inside…” seohyun informed

 

“Yeah! I think we should… let’s go!” hyoyeon chirped

 

“Yoona and I will buy snacks first, you guys go, reserve seats for us…” sooyoung said

 

“Okay, tae let’s go…” tiffany stated and holds taeyeon’s hand

 

“Huh?! O-okay…” taeyeon responded

 

“Hey! Sica-ah, go back to earth!” yuri teased

 

“What?!”

 

“See… you’re zoning out…”

 

“I’m not… *sigh*let just follow them…”

“Whose phone was that?” yoona asked

 

Each and every one checked their phones…

 

“Mine! Hehehe… It’s manager oppa… I’ll answer it…” taeyeon claimed

Taeyeon’s POV

 

“We’ve just finished watching warm bodies. We planned to watch G.I.JOE but decided to switch to a different movie at the last second. Now, they’re all taking about love, they were so into warm bodies, ‘R’ who’s a zombie fell in love to a human. We’ll you can really never tell when, how, and where will Mr.Cupid shoot you with his love arrows. Me, myself, didn’t even know when, how, and where did I fall for my bunny. When did I fall for her? How? Where? I don’t know… it just happen, I just feel it…

 

Then hyoyeon asked me to what is love? I readily thought of Soonkyu, and what she’s been into my life. ‘She’s my everything, she’s my light when everything around me seems so dark’, I answered. I was still thinking of my soonkyu when a phone ringing interrupted my thoughts. It was my own phone, I immediately fished it out wishing that my bunny’s calling me, *sigh* it was only manager oppa. I excused myself and answered the phone.”

 

“Hello?”

 

“Hello Taeyeon”

 

“Yes oppa?”

 

“Are you girls still at the mall?”

 

“Yes oppa, we’ve just finished watching a movie, why?”

 

“I see, I wanted to inform you that tomorrow afternoon, 3pm flight, you will be going to japan. Don’t tire yourselves too much, and be home early to prepare you stuffs.”

 

“Oppa? Why is it so early?”

 

“You need to rehearse.”

 

“We could rehearse in our studio…”

 

“You girls need to familiarize the stage, check your mics, costumes and the like…”

 

“Oppa..”

 

“The tickets were ready and so should you girls be…”

 

“Okay, it’s almost dinner oppa, we will just have our dinner here and then we will go back to the dorm.”

 

“Okay… take care…”

 

“Oh oppa, will sunny be joining us at the concert?”

 

“Hmm… I don’t think so… Mrs. Lee didn’t update us regarding sunny’s situation, if her doctor already gave her clearance to resume group activities, then she should be with you, otherwise, she will be staying.”

“I don’t know much about it, the management and Mrs. Lee already talk about that. I don’t have that power to hinder or push what I want. Let’s just wished that sunny’s doctor permitted her to join your concert performances”

 

“*sigh* I understand… “

 

“Good… I need to hang up now…”

 

“okay… bye oppa…”

 

Taeyeon looked lost after knowing that sunny will not be joining them in their japan concert tour.

“He said that we will be having our 3pm flight tomorrow to japan, and that we should prepare.”

 

“Oh… so are we going back to the dorm now?” yoona asked

 

“Ahmmm… since it’s almost dinner, we could grab some food for our meal later or we will just dine in one of the resto… what do you think?”

 

“Let’s just grab some food and eat it at the dorm, I’m kinda feeling tired already, I want to lie down on my bed.” Jessica answered

 

“Anyone who wants to object? In one… two… three… done… decided… okay let’s go!” taeyeon stated

While waiting for their take-out orders, taeyeon went out of the resto to buy something. After roughly 25 minutes, she returned with a paper bag in hand.

 

“What’s that?” yuri asked

 

“Huh?! Hehehe I just bought something…”

 

“What’s that something?” sooyoung probed

 

“Oh… just something… hey! That’s our orders already…” taeyeon said trying to shift the topic

 

Fortunately, sooyoung and the girls didn’t force her to spill; they took all the orders, and headed to the main entrance, where Mr. Hi was waiting for them.

Yuri turned her back at hyoyeon and walked first to the dorm.

 

“Unnie, just don’t mind her, she maybe you know, has her period… hormonal changes, mood swings… like that…” yoona reasoned out

 

“*Sigh* fine…”

Are you on your way already? Have you taken your dinner? Did you and omonim eat already? We’ve just finished our dinner; we are now, watching some shows in tv. Please… please… please… please be home already… I’ll be waiting… I MISS YOU SOONKYU-AH!!!!!”

“Message Sent” reads on her phone. She smiled waiting for sunny’s response. When she heard jessica answering her phone. The smile on her face fainted in an instant. Her vision followed jessica as she walked away from them.

 

“Why is it she’s always the first one to get soonkyu’s attention?!!!!!!!!!! I hate it! It should be me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me! Me! Me! Me!” taeyeon mentally screamed

Jessica’s POV

 

“I send bunny a message; I wonder how she will respond to it… I am patiently and excitedly waiting for a response when my phone rings. It was her! Sunny! Yeees! I swiftly answered her call.

 

“Bunny~~~~” I said aegyo which I don’t usually do.

 

“Hey! What’s with the voice?”

 

“For a change… hehehe” I answered as I stood up and walked away from the girls.

 

“Tsk! Something wrong sica-ah?”

 

“Yeah…” I mumbled

 

“What is it? Anything I can do?” sunny asked concerned

 

“Save me from Officially missing you Sunny!” I shouted over the phone

 

“What?!”

 

“You heard it right?”

 

“Hahahahahahaha… Geez! What have you eaten sica-ah? Too much sweets?”

 

“Sweets?! No…”

 

“Oh… I guess, too much corn, because you’re obviously corny! Hehehe”

 

“I don’t care, as long as I made you smile then I’m good… see, you’re laughing right now… hehehe”

“Jessica answered the call in aegyo… ow… how weird… Crap! She’s being sweet with my bunny… she’s picking her up! Waaaaaaa! I hate it! As much as I don’t want to listen to their conversation, I couldn’t help it… her voice and laugh were so inviting to my ears, killing me softly in jealousy. Well it’s better this way, better this way? Oh yeah… it’s better to guard your rival… *sigh*

 

Darn! Did she just kiss my soonkyu? I could hear her smacking kiss!!!!!!!!! I HATE IT! I ONLY HAVE THE RIGHT TO KISS SOONKYU!!!!!!!! The unlicensed thief kissed my soonkyu! I’m the licensed one not her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aish!”

 

Someone poked my cheeks, interrupting my thoughts, it’s fanny-ah.

 

“Tae? Tae? Tae?” she said calling my attention

 

“huh? Yes fanny-ah?” I replied smiling shyly at her

 

“You’re zoning out, are you okay?” she asked concern

 

“Hehehe… of course I am! Why should I not? Ahm… I’m just thinking of what should I put in my luggage.”

 

“Are you sure?”

 

“Yeah! Don’t worry… I’m perfectly fine!” I reasoned out even though I’m not…

 

“Tae----”

 

“Hey! I need to start preparing my stuff now… you should too fanny-ah and the rest of the girls, we might not have enough time tomorrow.” I said cutting anything fanny wanted to say.

 

“O-okay…”

 

I smiled and stood up. “Girls, don’t forget to prepare your stuff before going to sleep” I said and headed to my room.

 

I entered mine and soonkyu’s room, “Its empty” I said to myself longing for the laughing bunny to welcome me, or the serious one concentrating on her game. I miss her, how can I survive in japan without her by my side? *sigh*

 

As I closed the door, my phone rings. I answered the phone lazily, without looking at whose calling.

Sunny’s POV

 

“I was comfortably lying on my bed when my phone beeps, notifying that I’ve received a message. I took it on my side table and opened it up. It was from jessica, I read her message, ‘SOS’, help? Did something bad happen? I was worried, so I immediately called her…

 

She answered my call in aegyo, it’s unusual for her to do aegyo, so I asked her what’s with the voice. She simply answered for a change, but I’m not convinced at all so I asked her if something’s wrong, and yeah! She did answer me… ‘Save me from Officially missing Sunny’ tsk! Here goes the corny jessica… I was laughing when she said those words… Geez! This girl really makes me laugh with her pick-up lines.

 

Our corny conversation ended up with a smacking kiss from her…  Tsk! That silly girl really… I smiled as I put the phone down. I looked outside through my window, it’s still raining hard.

 

‘Well, I better wait for the rain to slow down before heading back to dorm’ I mumbled and was about to close my eyes for a nap when I saw my phone lit up for a notification. I lazily grabbed it and read the message, this time it’s from taeyeon.

 

What should I do with her? Aish! I’ll just enjoy every moment I’m still with her… with the girls… well, I don’t know when my TIME will be… I called her, she didn’t answer after the first ring, and she might be busy with fanny? I don’t know… maybe? I thought she missed me? Then why didn’t she immediately answer my call? So I waited until she picked it up.”

“Hello?” taeyeon lazily answered

 

Sunny didn’t speak any word on the other line.

 

“Hello? Anybody there?” taeyeon asked

 

“It’s me…” sunny replied softly

 

“I couldn’t hear you; make your voice louder please...”

 

“I guess you’re not in the mood to talk…”

 

“Soonkyu?”

 

“Hmmm?”

 

“Why did you call?”

 

“Oh… because I miss you?”

 

 ‘I miss you too…’ she mentally replied…  “Okay, anything else you want to say?” taeyeon asked cooly

 

“Are you mad at me?” sunny countered

 

“Mad? Why should I?”

 

“I don’t know, you’re different…”

 

“Different?”

 

“Yes… anyways, I need to hang up now…” sunny said trying to end their awkward conversation

 

“Okay… oh… will you be coming home?”

 

“Hmmm… probably, when the rain slows down.”

 

“I see… drive safely then…”

 

“I will… bye…” sunny voiced out and ended the call

Taeyeon’s POv

 

“Sunny ended the call without waiting for me to say goodbye. I stood frozen in my spot, phone still on my ear, listening to nothing, to no one. What did I just do? Why am I so cold to her? How could I say those things to her? Why am I feeling this way? Hurt? Pissed? Yes! I’m jealous! I’m freaking jealous of her conversation with jessica moments ago. But it’s my choice to listen to their damn sweet conversation, if I didn’t; I wouldn’t be feeling this way… Arrrgggggh! Kim Taeyeon! You are STUPID! Literally stupid!!!!!! I reprimanded myself, and slumped down to my bed.

 

I grabbed my bunny, the stuffed toy that soonkyu-ah gave to me and hugged it tightly… I miss her badly… I took my phone trying to call her but to no avail, her phone was turned off. I wanted to cry, I wanted to cry hard because I’ve been bad to my soonkyu… let my tears flow as hard as the rain kept on falling from the sky but I couldn’t.

“I called taeyeon, I wanted to by keeping silent for a moment, but she’s not in the mood to play, she’s definitely not in the mood to talk to me. She’s so cold, freezing cold, why? What have I done? Because I call late? Responded to her text message late? I admit, I was hurt; I thought she missed me? By the way she texted me, I expect that she’s anticipating my call or text but it’s the other way around…

 

Why should I be bothered? Should I be happy because she’s starting to stand on her own? In this painful way? Being cold to me… This is better right? She should not be overly attached to me… yeah… I guess so… it’s better this way…
