Chapter 30
Force of AttractionI will do anything.
Just about anything to get back what I have lost.
I will do anything.
I open my eyes slowly, only to be greeted my the light from the window. Wait a minute.
The window in my bedroom is not on this side, I roll on my right side only to see a vase with some sunflowers looking back at me. I don't have flowers in my room.
I sit up quickly and look at my attire, my breathing increases as I take notice of the white cast on my right arm, this is my dominant arm.
Then, I wasn't dreaming at all, my cello did get stolen, I did get hit by a car and my arm did get broken. In a flash I kick off the blanket and get off the bed in a hurry, if all of this wasn't a dream then my cello is still out there somewhere.
Luckily the clothes I was wearing on that night is on the couch in the room, washed and looks to be ironed too. Thank God for VIP treatment nowadays, with rushed movements I open up the bag and grab my jeans and coat.
As soon as I remove the horrendous gown that I'm wearing I quickly but carefully remove the IV needle from my hand, I bite my lip as a bit of blood get on my hand. It's not much so I think I'll live.
I search the drawers and much to my luck I find a surgical mask. I stealthily step out into the empty hallway and quickly walk to the elevator and enter with ease.
With a few deep breaths I slowly exit as the elevator stops at the lobby, I turn my head away as a few doctors and nurses rush pass by.
Coast is clear.
As soon as I turn around I bump into someone's chest, I quickly bow my head as the person apologizes. I don't stick around to look at his face, I need to get out of this wretched nightmare and find my cello.
I breath a sigh of relief as I step outside, now all I need is a taxi so I can get free of this prison. As I'm about to raise my hand to hail a taxi, someone grabs onto it and spins me around.
My eyes widen slowly as I recognize the eyes above the mask. He pulls me behind a nearby column then removes his mask, "what the hell are you doing?"
I pull my hand away from him, just pretend you didn't see me Taehyung-ah."
He gently pushes me into the column then takes one step closer, "don't play games with me right now babe, just answer the question."
Kim Taehyung is not the type to get really serious, so when that happens, I admit that I get a little scared of him. "I'm going to find my cello, I won't sit around and wait on a bunch of incompetent cops to do it for me."
He sighs then run his fingers through his hair, "do you have any idea how dangerous this is? You're not fully healed yet, I won't let you do this."
He won't let me?
I furrow my eyebrows at him, "I don't need your permission to do anything."
He looks at me with a deadly look on his face, "I've had a really long day today, you don't want me to get upset."
I glare at him, "what are you going to do?"
He places both hands in his pockets and shrugs nonchalantly, "I'll just alert the doctors."
I bite my lip as I take in his expression, "you wouldn't. Kim Taehyung...if you feel anything for me then let me do this."
His eyes narrow as he
