"Baek, You are awake?" Chanyeol quickly ran towards his boyfriend's side, caressing his cheeks but Baekhyun quickly backeed away.

"Wh-Who are you?"

"What?" Chanyeol looked up to others, everyone was evenly shocked as Chanyeol.

"Baekhyun, if this is a joke, you better stop."

"Yah, I don't know you, why will I joke around with strangers. Mom, Dad won't you tell him go away from me?"

"Chanyeol," Mr. Byun called for him, Baekhyun was annoyed. They then called the doctor, who examined Baekhyun and then took Mr. Byun out, with Chanyeol tagging along with them.

"Doc, why is acting like that?"

"He might have amnesia because of the accident and may have lost some  of his memories, but the thing is we don't know if he'll regain his memories any time time soon." The doctor answered.

"But he remembers us, and not him, why?"

"How long have you known the patient?"

"For a year now.."

"Then I am afraid that he just lost his memories of past year or so"

"In some cases it is short termed, and the person might remember everything after quite some time that may be days weeks and sometimes months. But sometimes it may take longer than that or those memories might never come back too."

"You have to be patient with your son. But if you people insist or try hard, he might faint or that may affect his brain badly. Eventually the missing pieces of his memory puzzle will come to him."

"Thank you, Doc." Mr. Byun said as Doctor made his way, he turned to look at his son's boyfriend, who looked shattered.

"Son, They said it could be short term, he might regain them soon."

"But he also said they might never come back."

"We have to be strong, huh?"

"Hmm," Chanyeol said as he excused then himself to go the restroom. He quickly went in the last stall, and as if on cue, his tears started streaming down hischeeks, and he sobbed until he heard a soft knock on the door. He quickly wiped his tears and opened the door, It was Jongin.

Seeing Jongin, Chanyeol couldn't hold back himself anymore and he threw himself in his bestfriend's embrace.

"Nini, B-Baek. What do we do now?" Chanyeol asked as he hugged his bestfriend tightly, Jongin just petted his hair, he knew he can't soothe his bestfriend through words, he has to be practical and giving hopes to make him feel better will make it worse later, so he just stood quietly, calming his bestfriend.

"After a week, we can discharge him from here, and you can admit him to any good hospital in Seoul." The doctor said and Mr Byun bowed as doctor left the roo.

"Mom, Dad, what happened? I don't remember anything, can you please tell me now?"

"You had an accident, Baek." Mrs. Byun replied.
