*I feel like this is by far the shortest fic in this collection. I'm really sorry, I'm really not the conversational type, and I don't know what I'm mumbling right now so, enjoy reading.

After seeing their close friend bang his head on the table, they immediately approached him and pulled him from brusing his forehead.

‘’Hyung, stop that.’’

The guy stopped for a while and looked at the persons who decided to bring him out of his reverie, maybe they could help him, maybe they could-

“He’s right hyung. Not only would you hurt yourself, you’ll also lose your remaining neurons, so stop that childish act already.”

With those words, he continued with his action, slowly cursing his friends on his mind. When he felt a strong smack on his head and the smell of coffee invading his nostrils, he stopped and reached for the steaming mug, thinking that this self-torture could wait.

“I told you hyung, coffee could fix his brain. We should find a coffee supplement for him, maybe he could think more maturely after that.”

“Yah, Lee Sungjong!”

“At least we know you’re still capable of proper reactions, and you’re still your old self.”

The taller guy sighed and looked blank again.

‘’What’s harder: accepting someone who loves you or loving someone who can’t love you back?’’

‘’That’s the thing that bothers you these days? Is it because of that junior girl who confessed to you last week?” his bestfriend Myungsoo questioned him, and he felt awkward, with two pairs of eyes piercing him. One that’s fierce but actually not, the other looking curious like a doe.

“Areum’s nice and all, but it’s not that I could just forget Namjoo. So, what’s harder?”

‘’Of course it’s loving someone who can’t love you back.’’

“Myungsoo hyung, of course accepting someone who loves you is harder.”

“Really Sungjong? And why is that?”

“At first you’re not attracted to that person, but once you accepted him or her, you don’t have any idea whether that feeling would last or not. You’ll both be uncomfortable with the presence of each other. And what if you’re already willing to give back and trust that one yet he or she realized that whatever the two of you have won’t work out well and leaves you. That would hurt more. That takes a greater risk. Loving someone who can’t love you is just like being a fan to it’s idol, no complications, not complex at all. You’re fine with loving him, and you’re not waiting for anything in return, because you’re both been honest with what you feel with each other. Who knows, you two could be friends from just knowing each other. That’s a better option, right?”

“Loving someone without the chance of your feelings being returned to is harder, obviously.”

“Wow, you sound so sure Myungsoo hyung.”

“Of course! Imagine yourself waiting for something you could never have. You would end up spending most of your time, maybe years, of following him around, checking about him and his life like some creepy stalker, and you’ll always forget to take yourself into consideration always before him and anyone else. Why would you waste yourself with someone who can’t see your worth? Why would you keep on letting yourself be hurt everytime you see him or her happy with the one he or she really loves? And then when you end up crying, the one who’ll always come to comfort you would be the one who loves you but you always choose to ignore, just because of that stupid person. What’s there to be afraid in letting yourself be loved? To be appreciated like you want to be?”

Their just inches away from each other, looking straight in each others orbs, without blinking, withouot any trace of being unsure.

“Wait guys, is this still about me, or about the two of you? Is there something you’re not sharing with me?”

“Nothing!” “Of course none!” Sungjong and Myungsoo answered at the same time, making them look at each other in a serious mode.

“It’s just that, Sungjong here seriously thinks that Sunggyu should be with Hoya when he could just choose Hoya instead! Isn’t he insane?”

“Yeah right hyung, of course I’m right!”

Aish, it’s about that drama again. I shouldn’t let these two alone when they’re watching that show. They might strangle each other while doing that petty debate.

“Wow, you seriously helped me guys.”

“Wait Sungyeol hyung, where are you going?”

“I’ll look for someone who could actually help me.”

“But hyung, you haven’t even eat a piece of this vanilla cake.”

“Share that with the two of you. And don’t try to kill each other okay.”

Silence.

“Say aah.”

“Don’t do that hyung, everyone’s looking at us.”

“But Sungjong, I’m just sharing this cake with you.”

The younger guy was already blushing from the other’s sweet antics, yet he opened his mouth to consume the cake. He almost choked when he felt Myungsoo’s lips on the corner of his mouth.

“You got some icing there. It’s clean now.”

A smirk, and then a laughter.

“You’re really cute when you’re blushing!”

“Hyuuuung. We’re supposed to tell Sungyeol hyung about this, right?”

“We should wait for him to have a decent relationship of his own before we open this up, or else we’ll just worsen his condition right now.”

“I guess you’re right, and-‘’

A peck on the lips.

‘’Yah, hyung!”

“Aish, you’re even cute too when you’re angry! Why are you so cute?!”

A loud smack on the head.

“Stop that or I’ll ignore you for the rest of the day.”

Myungsoo, being the obedient boyfriend, stopped pestering the younger one and simply clung on Sungjong’s arm, opening his mouth asking to be fed as well.

All he got is another smack, this time, on his arm that s on his waist trying to pull him closer but failed.

*Ah, I can really imagine these two boys being sweet behind the camera. I know there are myungyeol shippers out there, but sorry, I even ship Sungyeol with Sungjong, hehe. But of course, myungjong is still the number one infinite otp in my heart (with Woogyu as my second and Hojong as third).
