"Did you shower at the training center?" Dong Chul asked when Sang Hee stumbled into the precinct, panting, drenched from head to toe.

She shook her head and bent over while holding her knees, "It's sweat."

Dong Chul made a face, "That's gross."

Chin Hwae threw a box of tissues at her so that she could wipe her face, "What happened?"

"I had to run here." She said while collapsing into her chair.

Dong Chul glanced around nervously before lowering his voice, "Why didn't you just come to work with Himchan?"

Sang Hee's face hardened, "He wasn't there in the morning."

Himchan walked towards his desk, smirking when his eyes landed on Sang Hee, "Punctuality is an important trait for a cop."

"By the way, thanks for the ride." She spat at him.

Himchan cocked a brow as he took his seat, "It's not my fault you didn't wake up on time."

"I woke up 2 hours before we had to leave!" She exclaimed.

Chin Hwae cocked his head, "Is that why you came to work 2 hours earlier, Himchan?"

Sang Hee gaped at him before narrowing her eyes into a glare. She wiped the box of tissues at him, "I hate you."

He quickly slapped it away, mid air, "It's too late for flattery, tiger." He said with a grin as he kicked his feet up onto his desk. "Just be happy you  have a roof over your head."

She huffed and dropped her bag onto the ground before slumping over in her seat. "Am I supposed to thank you?"

"You should feel indebted." He said while lacing his fingers behind his head.

Sang Hee glared at him as she sat down, "You should feel my leg kicking you in the bal--"

"You four."

Dong Chul, Chin Hwae, Himchan and Sang Hee looked up to see Woon by the door, "Conference room. Now."

-----

"What are we doing?" Chin Hwae asked as they all took a seat.

Dong Chul nodded, "Yeah, are we getting a new case?"

"Of sorts." Woon said vaguely while glancing at his watch.

Himchan raised his brows as he leaned back in his seat, "This is the first time I'm hearing about this."

"Well it isn't exactly your typical case." Woon countered back.

Sang Hee sat up in excitement, "So what is it?"

"I'm not running this meeting." Woon said with a grin.

"Then who is?" Dong Chul asked.

Woon walked to the door and opened it before stepping out of the way and letting the person walk in, "He is."

Sang Hee craned her neck and felt her eyes widened when the familiar man walked in.

Namjoon.

He smiled at his friends as he walked in. Dong Chul was cheering and Chin Hwae was applauding, but Himchan wasn't paying attention.

He was staring at Sang Hee.

She had a polite smile on her face as she bowed in her seat but she didn't seem particularly giddy or shy. She looked like she was greeting a regular colleague.

But that was understandable since she only really spoke to him once.

His eyes flickered to Namjoon who was staring at her while he walked to the front of the room. He shivered, he could not imagine Namjoon and Sang Hee together.

Namjoon was way to normal to be with someone like her.

"Dude! What are you doing here?" Dong Chul asked with a grin on his face.

Namjoon stood at the head of the table with a stack of folders in his hands before he passed them out, "I needed some help so I thought I'd ask you guys for a hand."

" ring." Himchan mumbled while scanning the dossier.  "I heard about this. Don't you guys already have these guys arrested?"

Namjoon shook his head, "We only got one of their lackeys during a raid. The others scattered fast. We have him in holding but he isn't budging. And we're running out of time before their next drop. We need him to give us the address."

"So you want us to take over the interrogation?" Chin Hwae asked.

Namjoon nodded, "This cartel knows our unit like the back of their hand. We need to bring in someone from the outside, to try and break him. We needed a new approach."

Sang Hee raised her brows as she scanned something in the file, "It says here that we're needed to go undercover."

Namjoon smiled at her, making Dong Chul squint his eyes suspiciously, "You're right. Good eye. Once we get the location, you guys need to go undercover to keep a closer eye on the targets."

"Why can't your people do it?" Himchan asked.

Namjoon braced his arms against the table, "They know our faces too well. If they see us, they might leave before we can catch them. I need you guys because you'll be unfamiliar and honestly, with different clothes, none of you guys would look like cops."

"Hey!"

Namjoon put his hand on Dong Chul's shoulder, "I mean you four are too good looking to be cops."

Dong Chul grinned, obviously satisfied with his answer. Woon moved away from the wall he was leaning on and addressed the group.

"The Drug Seizure Unit will be nearby in a police van. If the location is crowded enough, they might even place officers in the location, they just won't be able to get as close as you four can."

Chin Hwae closed the file, "Sounds fun. It's been a while since we went undercover."

"Then it's settled. We're transporting the victim to the precinct and we'll let you guy take a shot at it."

-----

"What do we know about him?" Himchan asked as he and Namjoon walked into the room behind the mirror in the interrogation room.

Chin Hwae sent him a text a few minutes ago telling him that they were moving the guy through the building and they were bringing him to the room any second now.

"Park Jae Ram. He's the youngest, 21, which is probably why he's so brainwashed."

Himchan raised his eyebrow, "Brainwashed?"

"He believes in the whole brother code thing. He won't give any of them up, even for a softer sentence. He'd rather die in a cell than betray them." Namjoon said as the door opened.

Himchan watched as Sang Hee brought the kid into the room and shoved him into his seat with a little more force than necessary. His lips quirked up when he saw the deadly glare in her eye and the tightness in her jaw.

Namjoon chuckled, "Feisty one, isn't she?"

Himchan's lips quickly fell as he cleared his throat, "It's only charming when she's being feisty to someone else. When you're on the receiving end, it's just annoying."

Himchan crossed his arms as Sang Hee hand cuffed the man to the chair. His eyebrows met together when Sang Hee bent down to cuff his legs to the chair.

Jae Ram was blatantly staring at Sang Hee's , lewdly his lips. Himchan's eye twitched and reached over to press the button to un-mute the microphones in the room to hear what was being said.

"If I could get my hands on you, I'd you until your voic--"

Himchan's hand slammed on the button, muting it before he heard the rest. The sound was so loud that Sang Hee's eyes darted to the mirror before she continued cuffing him up.

"ing hell." Namjoon muttered in disgust when he saw Jae Ram's lip move, most likely muttering more vulgarities at her.

Once he was all locked up, she stormed out of the interrogation room and walked back to the room Himchan and Namjoon were in. She slammed the door behind her and walked up to them. Namjoon stared at her but Himchan kept his gaze on Jae Ram.

"You okay?" Namjoon asked.

"I'm fine." She spat out.

Himchan glanced over at her and could see her locked jaw and the animosity in her eyes. He turned to Namjoon and held his hand out. "We got each other's backs right?"

Namjoon stared at his hand in confusion before bumping their fists together, "Sure, but what are you thinking?"

Himchan looked at Sang Hee who was glaring at Jae Ram before walking to the door.

"Just don't report me for this."

-----

Himchan walked into the room, catching Jae Ram's attention.

"Can you send that other detective back in here. I'd rather see her."

Himchan cracked his neck before ing the cuffs on his denim shirt and rolling them up. He didn't speak a word and started working on his other cuff.

"Oh, the silent treatment? You think that's going to get me to rat on my crew? Nice try, man." Jae Ram said while scoffing.

When Himchan finished with his cuffs, he started loosening the thin black tie around his neck.

"What is he doing?" Namjoon mumbled as he watched his friend.

Sang Hee watched the muscle jumped in his jaw as he ground his teeth. He tossed his tie on the table so that only his dog tags hung around his neck. "I have no idea."

Namjoon looked over at Sang Hee whose eyes were locked on Himchan.

-----

"Give me a second." Himchan mumbled before walking to each of the cameras, propped up on tripods in each corner of the room.

Jae Ram's eyes followed him and widened when he noticed Himchan was turning off each camera.

"What are you doing?"

Himchan said nothing as he shut off all four cameras. When he finished, he calmly walked over to Jae Ram and raised his fist before slamming the kid across the face, breaking his nose.

"!" He screamed as blood gushed from the broken cartilage.

Sang Hee gasped with her jaw hung open and Namjoon choked on his  spit as he stared at the scene unfolding in front of him.

Sure, he never really worked with Himchan in pers

Hi Loviet, I'm your biggest fans of your writing, I've read AnD first before the Home series, I love it so much that I've give it a go for Home, and ofc I still impressed of your stories. Few days ago I've comeback to Aff and start rereading all my fav stories, and surely again you will hear from me that you are so talented and thank God you are still writing! AnD left a big of impression to me because unlike Eunah and Yongguk, Himchan have it hard from the beginning, the character development of him trying to accept his past and start to be good for himself is beautiful. This is the man who rather see everyone around him happy but himself, the man who cares about other but neglect himself, the one who is so strong but choose to hurt himself more, thank you for giving chances to him. I could say AnD is the second best after RoD <3 thank you for writing, stay safe!
