Himchan was flipping a coin in his hand as he waited for Sang Hee to come out of her bedroom. Some people ate lollipops when they quit smoking,  he flipped coins when he wanted to flip his knife.

They had spent the rest of the day being briefed by Namjoon's team about what was supposed to go down tonight and they were sent home early to prep.

Himchan was dressed in a black button down shirt with a leather jacket hung over his shoulders. He closed his eyes and sighed as he heard her footsteps move back and forth inside her room.

It was still strange as hell leaving work with her and coming back to his apartment together.

Even when he had a lady to entertain in the past, he never brought her back to his house, he would always go to her place, even when he was dating them.

He liked having his own space and even though Sang Hee stayed out of his way, it was unsettling having someone he didn't know live a few doors down from him.

It was the gangster part of him that was reminding him to keep his defences up at all times.

Himchan opened his eyes when he heard the Sang Hee's door creak and turned to look at her.

.

He froze and his eyes widened when she came out holding her heels in her hand. His eyes raked over her frame and he felt a lump form in his throat.

Her normally straight hair was curled and tossed elegantly over her shoulder, revealing a tight black velvet dress with a zipper going down the front, ped to show just a little cleavage.

Her legs were long and smooth and she didn't even have her heels on, yet. Her eyes were smoky, her cheeks where blushed and her lips were parted as she strapped a watch onto her wrist.

She looked ing stunning.

"Are you ready to go?"

Himchan's eyes snapped to her face, "Huh? Oh y-yeah. Let's go."

Sang Hee nodded and sat on the arm of the couch so that she could slip on her shoes. Himchan cursed under his breath and had to avert his eyes when her dress rode up, exposing more of her thigh as she strapped her shoes on.

She finally stood up while tugging on her dress, the heels just making her legs look longer, "What do you think? Is this too much?"

Himchan didn’t look at her as he grabbed his phone and wallet, "Where are you keeping you gun?"

"Wouldn't you like to know." She said huskily.

Himchan froze, his eyes growing even wider as he turned to her, "What?"

"I'm kidding." She said while patting her upper thigh, "I'm strapped in. Mr&Mrs. Smith style."

Himchan rolled his eyes but never looked at her. He wasn't aware of it, but it was because he wouldn't be able to look away.

"We're already late. Let's go." He muttered while walking to the door.

Sang Hee jogged after him in her heels when he opened the door. Chin Hwae and Dong Chul were standing on the other side, ready to knock.

"Hey, w--Oh." Dong Chul's eyes widened as a blush engulfed his face when his eyes landed on Sang Hee.

Chin Hwae blinked and followed his gaze before nodding at her, "You look pretty."

Sang Hee chuckled at the man's dead tone, "Thank you. You guys look good too."

"I…uh…you..wow…um…ju..I mea--"

"Dong Chul thinks you look pretty, too." Chin Hwae interrupted, coming to his stuttering friend's rescue.

Sang Hee gave him an embarrassed smile as they made their way to the lobby, "Alright, alright, get a good look at me now because I'm going back to my regular clothes tomorrow. Clubbing Sang Hee isn't going  to be making another appearance in a really long time."

"Thank god." She heard Himchan mutter under his breath.

Sang Hee glared at him and kicked him in the shin, stabbing him with her heel. "Ow! !"

"I can gauge your eyeballs out with my heels, so watch your mouth." She growled.

"Glad to see you two getting along wonderfully." Chin Hwae deadpanned.

Dong Chul fluttered his lashes, "You should be happy that you have such a pretty partner."

"Sure." Himchan said with a snort.

The pair huffed as they stepped outside, where a black van was parked in front. The headlights flickered, catching their attention, and the four made their way to the vehicle.

When they got close, the side door slide open where Namjoon and another officer sat inside. With computers lining the inside of the van.

"Ready to party?" He asked with a smile.

Chin Hwae pumped his fist in the air, expressionlessly, "Hell yeah."

Namjoon lifted a clear box, "We're going to get you guys wired up and then you'll take your personal cars to the Velvet Lounge."

Namjoon's eyes landed on Sang Hee and his words died in his mouth. Suddenly flustered, he looked at the box in his hands before looking back at her. "Um…I don't…huh."

He cleared his throat and handed one of the wires to the female detective next to him, "Um, Ki Ran, can you wire Detective Bae, up?"

The female officer leaned her head out before chuckling, "Sure. Come this way detective."

Himchan shifted awkwardly when he saw the blush on Namjoon's cheeks as he avoided Sang Hee's eyes.

Once they were all wired up, Namjoon leaned on his knees, trying not to look at Sang Hee but Himchan saw the way his eyes would just draw towards her.

"Can we leave?" Himchan inwardly winced when he heard the snappish tone in his voice.

Namjoon blinked rapidly, like he just broke from his daze, "Huh? Oh yeah. You guys have already seen the pictures of the buyer and sellers. We sent some detectives into the club earlier, they'll be around for back up. I'll be in the van and you can talk to me with your earpieces if you need to. I'll have eyes on outside the building but not on the inside. That's up to you. Search thoroughly but don't blow your cover. Keep an eye out on them at all times and once the sale looks like it's taking place, try to pull them away from the crowd and take them down."

The female officer beside Namjoon stuck her head out of the van and tossed them all their earpieces.

"Oh…and have a little fun."

-----

Himchan pulled up, across the street from the Velvet Lounge and pulled the key out of the ignition. He let out a breath and leaned back in his seat.

"Ready?" He murmured as he glanced over at her.

Sang Hee nodded firmly, "Let's do it."

The two of them got out of the car and noticed Dong Chul and Chin Hwae walking past them, like strangers, and headed into the bar.

Himchan and Sang Hee were about talk to the bouncer when she felt Himchan's fingers slip through hers and laced them together.

Her head jerked up to look at him but he was staring forward  gently pulling her along. His fingers tightened around hers and nodded at the bouncer before walking past the velvet rope.

The second they entered the night club, Sang Hee shook his hand off, "What the heck was that?"

"Oh come on Sang Hee. No one's going to believe that a girl and guy are going to a club together and don't have a thing going on. You got to sell it." Dong Chul tsked.

Chin Hwae slung his arm around Dong Chul's neck, "And couples get to jump the line."

"How did you two get in?" Himchan asked while shoving his hands into his pockets, feeling like there was nothing for his hands to do.

Dong Chul held Chin Hwae's hand, "We make a cute gay couple."

Sang Hee smiled and shook her head, "What now?"

"Blend in with the crowd. Keep our eyes open, we should break off into pairs to cover more ground." Himchan ordered.

Dong Chul nodded, "We'll take the bar. You guys take the floor."

"Check bathrooms too." Himchan called out as the boys left.

They all parted ways and Himchan placed a palm on Sang Hee's lower back, leading her into the club. Sang Hee flinched from the sudden warmth of his hand against her back but remained focused.

"Me and you need to split up."

Sang Hee shivered when she heard his voice mumble into her ear. It was deep, throaty and husky.

Something she never really picked up on before.

Her eyes widened when she saw the inside of the club. There was a large dance floor and strobe lights were flashing while music blared from the stereos.

Girls were walking around with trays of drinks as everyone danced in the center mosh pit.

There was two levels of balconies where Namjoon's detectives were most likely hidden. The rest was their turf to cover.

"Where are you going?" She asked, trying to grab onto his arm when he started to pull away.

Himchan pointed over his shoulder, "I'll watch from the outside."

"Where am I supposed to go?" She asked incredulously.

He nodded at the dance floor, "Get in the thick of it. Look natural but keep your eyes open."

Sang Hee looked bewildered, "Wait, you want me to…dance?'

"Just clap your hands and smile. I wouldn't force these club goers to suffer through your dancing." He leered.

Sang Hee scowled and jabbed his stomach with her elbow. "Stop being an ."

Himchan bit on his bottom lip and smirked at her while walking backwards, "Have fun, tiger."

-----

Sang Hee let out a breath and smoothed her dress down and rolled her shoulders back, "Okay. I can do this."

She tried to channel 21 year old Sang Hee as she swayed to the blaring beat of the music. She rolled her hips as she moved further and further into the crowd of people.

She bounced to the beat and even followed Himchan's advice and clapped her hands. The longer she spent on the dance floor, the more her muscles loosened and relaxed. She started moving in rhythm with the bass and let her eyes scan the floor.

It was not easy, though.

Even in heels, she wasn't that tall and it was hard for her to see through the crowds of people. She started edging closer to the outside of the dance floor and tried to look around, casually, while dancing.

Her eyes narrowed when she noticed someone sitting on a stool with a briefcase set beside him.

Got him

She continued to move to the music but she was barely paying attention because she was keeping her eyes pinned on the guy.

"I have eyes on the seller." She mumbled into her ear mike.

Namjoon's voice filled her ear, "Good job. Stay on him, we're waiting for the buyer to show up and then take them both down."

Sang Hee kept her eyes pinn

Hi Loviet, I'm your biggest fans of your writing, I've read AnD first before the Home series, I love it so much that I've give it a go for Home, and ofc I still impressed of your stories. Few days ago I've comeback to Aff and start rereading all my fav stories, and surely again you will hear from me that you are so talented and thank God you are still writing! AnD left a big of impression to me because unlike Eunah and Yongguk, Himchan have it hard from the beginning, the character development of him trying to accept his past and start to be good for himself is beautiful. This is the man who rather see everyone around him happy but himself, the man who cares about other but neglect himself, the one who is so strong but choose to hurt himself more, thank you for giving chances to him. I could say AnD is the second best after RoD <3 thank you for writing, stay safe!
