You were nervous, you've never done this before. This being a blind date. Who still does this? You thought.

Hours and hours past as you waited there in the restaurant where you were meeting at. Looking at your messages, you made sure you had the right date, time, and place. It was all correct. 

You were stood up.

It hurt.

It's not supposed to hurt, you thought. The problem is, is that it did hurt. 

You left the restaurant and decided to walk around. You couldn't help but let the tears fall. 

Questions fell into your mind. Did he see you and think you were ugly? Did he just see you and decided he wasn't going? Were you not good enough?

Sighing, you continued on and soon ran into someone."I'm so-or-rry." You sniffled. 

"Are you ok?" A man asked.

Looking up, you found yourself connecting eyes with a gorgeous man. You couldn't speak. You could only nod your head yes. You didn't want ruin this man's night with your problems. 

"You can tell me. I know something's wrong. If it makes it easier i'll introduce myself. My name's Joon. Yours?" He said.

You introduced yourself to him. You don't know why you did, but who were you to refuse to introduce yourself to a good looking man? Especially one who wanted to know what was wrong with you.

"What to go out for ice cream? Maybe that will make you feel better and you can tell me why you're crying." Joon told her and tilted his head to the side with a 'hmm'. You nodded your head ok. You couldn't trust your voice right now. 

Once you got to the ice cream shop, he had you sit down. "I'll get the ice cream. Don't worry about it." Joon said and left before you could protest. 

Joon got and paid for the ice cream. As he sat down, he handed you yours as he tried to and save his from dripping everywhere. You couldn't help but laugh at the site. It was funny. He could only look at you and say, "What?"

"You got ice cream right here." You said pointing to the corner of your mouth.

He took a napkin and wiped off his mouth. "Now tell me what's wrong. Why is a beautiful woman like you crying?" Joon asked and continued to eat his ice cream. 

"Well my friend decided to set me up on a blind date and that blind date didn't show up. I was stood up. Don't know why it hurts, but it does." You confessed.

"Aish, what a jerk." Joon shook his head and continued, "Forget about that jerk. Just think if he didn't stand you up, we would have never met and had ice cream." He grinned, making you grin in return.

"I'm actually very glad he did stand me up." You then joked, "Now you're stuck with me though."

Joon let out a laugh and replied, "That's ok. I don't mind."

"You sure? You can't take it back." You told him in a serious tone.

"Yes. I'm sure." Joon said with confidence.

For the rest of the night, you and Joon got to know each other. You even exchanged numbers and planned an actual date. The bad blind date actual turned out to be something wonderful. You think you just met the man of your dreams.
