"Hey Jae?"

I picked up the phone answered Changmin

"Yeah?"

"They're on line 2" Changmin said

"Thanks"

I switched off to line 2 and soon enough could hear the familiar female voice that I had spoken to yesterday

"This is JaeJoong"

"Yes this is Seoul D Hospital. When would you like to come in for the examination?"

"As soon as possible"

"Do you think you can be here within an hour?" She asked

"Sure" I said tiredly

After that was set, I let out a heavy sigh as I stood up, grabbed my blazer and the car keys. I stepped outside the office and saw Changmin leaning against Yuna's desk, as if he had waited fo rme to come outside

"You're sure you're okay?" Changmin asked again

"I'm fine.. I think.." I mumbled

"You're sure? Why don't you get a full body examination as well when you're already there at the hospital?" I shook my head at Changmin's suggestion

"There's no time for that"

"Your health is always priority Nr.1 Jae" Changmin said and stepped up to me

"Not right now.. Look.. just don't tell anyone where I'm going okay? I want it to stay a secret for now"

"Is it that bad?" He asked

"I don't know myself Changmin. I don't know anything for now so that's why I need you to stay quiet until I've solved things out"

Changmin stayed quiet for a minute or two before he nodded in agreement, finally giving in

"Can you make sure that either of you or Junsu will make an examination appointment for Yuna? She has probably forgotten about her own health the past few days and .. I just want to make sure that she's alright" I said

Changmin nodded

"Of course.. We'll take care of her. Just hurry back or else she'll get worried" Changmin said and tapped me on my shoulder.

I nodded in agreement and was about to go when I had tos top outside Yoochun's office to look inside, to see her concentrated listening to Yoochun and Yunho about what she needed to do at the Pressconference tomorrow. A smile appeared quietly before I forced myself to go away from there and I put on the blazer, the sunglasses and hurried to the elevator and going down to the car.

About 30 minutes later, when I was able to shake off those idiot paparazzis that was following me, I finally arrived at the hospital.

"Just let's get this over with" I said tiredly

I was shown to the waiting room and I was only able to sit down for 2 minutes before a female doctor appeared and told me that it was my turn. Well.. At least they were fast

"Mr Kim. How are you?"

"Perfectly fine thank you" I said politely and took off the sunglasses

"Now this examination will take about 2 hours, and we need you to coperate with us as much as you can, in that way it'll be easier for us to get the diagnose and also to help you. You will recieve a call with the results in 7 days time" She explained while going through her folders

"Well, let's start. I have a very busy schedule for the day.."

She nodded in agreement

The examination started with a EEG- Examination of the brain and my head, going through several and different X-rays and not to mention that they were taking picture of my brain, connecting my head to different machines and had me answering questions that I've never thought of before. They also wanted to know my lifestyle and then they took a blood test, asking even more questions before they were completely satisfied with the entire examination. It didn't take so much energy actually and it felt good for once, not being the leader and have to guide everyone. I just stayed quiet and listened to everything.

After 2,5 h I was finally back in the office where I had been sitting in the beginning and for some reason I started to feel slightly uneasy. I wasn't sure what was going to happen next but then it hit me what they were going to talk to me about. Something about my mother

"Sir, As  you know.. your mom's situation at the moment.. it's.."

"I don't want to hear it" I said, interrupting her

"But Sir.."

"No. I pay for the medical bills, I've donated to the hospital, I've taken care of everything but I don't want to know the situation. What's the point ?" I said coldly

The doctor was taken by surprise, as far as I could tell, judging by her facial expression

"So you won't even pay her a visit?"

I stood up and sighed

"I think we've reached the end of this discussion. And as for the answer of your question, No"

I put on my sunglasses again and started to head towards the door

"But could you at least ask your girlfriend to come back then? It's good for your mother to see her and she was very bright and in better mood after your girlfriend was here"

I stopped in tracks as I stopped breathing.

"What?"

"I know this is a lot to take in but it's for your own good. Just so that you won't falter or be taken by surprise by the media's behavior. They can be very rude" Yunho said, encouraging me

I nodded

"I appreciate your help guys" I sighed

"Doesn't sound so thankful to me" Yoochun joked

"I'm sorry.. I'm just.. really... really.. tired" I said

"Hmm.. Jae is not in right now.. how about you go and rest on his couch in his office? I'm sure he won't mind" Yoochun suggested

"Sounds good" Yunho agreed

"Is it okay? Are we done with everything?" I asked

Both of them nodded

"Just come again and ask if there's anything okay?" Yunho said

I nodded gratefully and left the room along with the folder in my hands as I stepped out of the office and walked down the small hallway and finally entering JaeJoong's. I closed the door behind and I walked over to the table and the couch, put the folder down and sat down, letting out the heaviest sigh of my life

I wasn't even able to take a minute or two to breathe in before I heard a knock on the door

"Weird.. They should know that Jae is not here.." I whispered and stood up

The knock was heard again but this time, the doorknob twisted and I saw a familiar face enter

"Dong..hae" I stuttered
