~Donghae~

"You're... here" I said and stared at her

"I came over to wish you a .. Happy Birthday" She smiled warmly

I smiled happily as I took her inside and helped her to take the cake into the kitchen and as I was waiting for her to come in, I was staring at the cake. Seems like she had just made it...

"Wow... the house is amazing..." She mumbled and looked around

"Yes, but the view is the best part of it" I said

She gasped as I took her over to the glass windows and she couldn't hold back the amazement as she was looking at the beautiful scenery over Seoul. I knew what she felt like, I had the same feeling everytime I was looking outside it

"It's so beautiful" She whispered

"I know right, it's almost as if you're afraid of talking.. that would kind of ruin the mood.." I chuckled

"Let's have the cake !" She cheered

We hurried to the kitchen and I took out some plates and spoons. She took out two cups but then she suddenly stopped

"What do you want to drink Fishie?" She asked

I chuckled

"I was actually having a glass of wine.. I can boil some water for you if you go to the livingroom and get the glass of mine" I smiled

She nodded

"Sure"

I filled the pot with water and waited for her to come back. The feelings were overwhelming, not to mention the happiness and my heart thumping faster and faster. How many times haven't I dreamed about having her right next to me again? Having her inside the house I'm living, just knowing that it would be the two of us here?

I did notice the time passing and yet I didn't see her coming back. I started to get somewhat worried and got out of the kitchen and headed towards the livingroom

"Yuna?" I asked

I then spotted her by the imaginary fire-place, she was looking at the photos above it. I leaned against the wall, looking at her as she was quietly smiling to herself, touching the photoframes carefully and then I heard her sob. I guess she was just remembering the past

"You're.. okay?" I asked and stood behind her, tapping her shoulder

She nodded

"I just.. miss the old times" She said quietly

"You're not alone about feeling that.." I said and looked at her

"Do you think you made the right decision Donghae? About leaving us, the country and starting the career?" She asked

Her big brown eyes were looking straight into mine, and I guess the atmosphere changed, having some seriousness in it and I did notice that she have been waiting for this moment, she has been waiting to hear my answer on that question..

"I..."

I was interrupted in the middle of the sentence when I heard the doorbell ringing.

"You.. are expecting company...?" She suddenly asked a bit shocked

"No.. I .. am not expecting anyone" I frowned

The doorbell rang again and I sighed, being a bit annoyed about having that person interrupting us during the conversation.

I felt Yuna following me behind as I walked towards the door

"SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I stared at the group of friends standing outside my door and I recognized them all. Junsu, Yunho, JaeJoong, Changmin, Yoochun and Eunhyuk

"Oh.. Hi"

"Happy Bir...." JaeJoong started but he didn't finish his sentence because apparently he saw something behind me. I spun around halfways to see Yuna looking back at him and then I saw JaeJoong looking a bit surprised and shocked.

"You're... here" I said slowly, shocked to see Yuna in Donghae's apartment, alone at this time of hour.

"Hey" She smiled palely

"Happy Birthday Man!!" Eunyuk cheered

"Congratz!" Junsu smiled happily

All of us entered the apartment, handing the gifts we had brought with us, cake, flowers, champagne and brand new poker set with real diamonds in it.

"Let me help you Fishie" Yuna said

"Thanks Yuna"

Donghae handed the flowers we had given him and she took them into the kitchen and all of us followed slowly. I didn't know what was wrong with me, but whatever it was, I didn't like it. I followed Yuna into the kitchen, having the cake in my hands

She was quiet as a mouse as she was looking for the vase, it was obvious that it was her first time here so I guess she couldn't have arrived a long time ago. I saw the birthday cake, untouched on the table and seems like they were getting ready to eat

"The vases are in the corner of the lockers" I said

"Oh.. thanks" She said quietly

She hurried to get a vase and then she poured some cold water and placed the flowers inside

"You've been here for long?" I asked

She shook her head

"An hour I think.. I wasn't able to celebrate his birthday tomorrow so this was the least I can do for him.." She said, feeling a bit guilty about it

I nodded

"I see"

She started to fix the flowers and as I watched her I noticed something, something that was wrong with her face. Trademarks of tears that had fallen down on her cheeks. She wasn't crying wasn't she?

"Yuna, are you..."

"Let's have cake!!!!!!!!" Yunho cheered

All the guys suddenly barged in and they had already started to drink beer. I was planning on drinking tonight as well but wondering who was going to take Yuna home later on, I didn't want to drink anymore, I should just have some coffee or something

"I'll get plates!" Eunhyuk cheered

All the guys started to prepare and Donghae was laughing and seems like he was having a good time, as Yunho and Yoochun were forcing him to play with them, drinking beer as a penalty if he loose the game

Yuna was quietly watching from behind

"Oh I forgot the bottle of wine!" DOnghae said

"Livingroom!" Yoochun said

Yoochun and Donghae went to the livingroom to get the wine

"I can't find the plates, too many lockers here" Eunhyuk said after searching for the plats

"I'll get it" Yuna offered

"Thanks...What's your name?" Eunhyuk asked

"This is Yuna, Yuna, this is Eunhyuk" I introduced them

They greeted each other and then Yuna walked around the table and went to get the plates from the right locker

"Crap the spoons!" Eunhyuk said

He ran behind me in a hurry and as I saw him running I saw what was about to happen

"Yuna watch out!" I shouted

Yuna fell down, and on her way trying to grab something,t he pot with hot water spilled and the next thing all of us could hear was Yuna's scream of pain

I ran over to her in a second, kicking the pot away and not caring about the hot water filling up my jeans, I grabbed Yuna's hand to see her getting burned by the hot water

"Cold water" Changmin said and helped Yuna up

I walked over to the zink, her burnt hand in my own and I sincerely, I was hoping that the water was going to wash away the pain she was feeling at the moment

I looked at her face to see tears running but she didn't give away any sound.

"Yuna!"

I recognized Donghae's voice and suddenly he was right next to her, looking at her and then her hand

"Yuna! You're okay?" He asked worriedly

"She burnt herself, we're trying to cool it down with the cold water" I said

"Yuna, gwenchana?" He asked again

From the corner of my eyes I could see Donghae wiping away her tears with his fingertips and Yuna was quietly letting him

"Donghae, you have a icepack or maybe a band aid or something?" Yoochun asked

"I'll get it"

Donghae left right away, hurrying to get the band aid and the icepack

"JaeJoong, it hurts" She whispered

"Huh?" I asked and looked at her

"You're holding my wrist way too tightly" She whispered

I hadn't noticed or felt that I was holding onto her so hard and I instantly let go and started to caress her hand instead.
There was no mark after my tight grip, which I was grateful for but I then slowly started to realize why I have tightened my grip around her..

It couldn't be jealousy right?
