I was quietly sitting by the desk, pretending to look at the screen of the computer when I in fact was looking around.
I will not deny the fact that everyone was fashionable, wearing outstanding clothes, perfectly styled and no doubt that it was brand new. The constant chaos that I was able to hear, people talking on the phone, the typing on the computers and employees talking to each other, this wasn't just an office, this was practically the beginning of World War 3.

Key had disappeared somewhere after getting a call and when I had asked him what I should do during the meantime, he just said that I should get familiar with the programs on the computer and if the phone starts ringing, I had to answer.

I was pretty much speechless at the moment, not knowing if I fit in here or not because Key had already commented my clothes for today and he said my make-up wasn't right. I looked at the girls who was passing me by.
They were wearing exclusive dresses, along with matching jackets and their accessories looked like something I would only be able to buy IF I saved enough money for like.. I don't know 3 years?

I decided to do the best out of the situation, making myself comfortable and make this desk to my own if this is my desk. What I do find weird is that they never interviewed me so that they would get to know me and see if I am the right person for this job.
It then hit me that maybe they didn't have time for that, since it seems like there were tons of other things they had to do . Maybe they were testing me now.

"You're the library girl?"

I looked up to see a tall guy, cute smile with dark brown hair. He was wearing light brown chinos along with a black tee and a scarf. He had nice accessories on his wrists but the clothes didn't make him, it was his charisma.

"Yuna... Ito" I smiled and got up from the chair.

"Jonghyun. Welcome on board"

"Thanks..." I sighed

"You're sighing?" He asked

"You're the first person to greet me and also the first person to welcome me. Key was very strict right from the start..." I smiled, looking at him.

Jonghyun chuckled lightly

"Oh don't worry, he just takes his job very very seriously since his life is all about his career. Don't take it too harsh. He's just hard on you now so that you will hardened up a bit" He smiled

"Harden up? What for?" I asked

"It's lunchtime right now so that means we will able to get to know each other. I'll send a text to Key that I'll take care of you and we can go down to the cafeteria. How does that sound? You're hungry?" Jonghyun asked

"Not that much but I really want to have some tea..." I smiled

"This way" He smiled

Jonghyun was very gentle and he was very polite. This was unexpected actually since I thought there wasn't going to be anyone who would be 'Normal' or calm here. Seems like everyone was stressed about everything..

We arrived on level 5 and the big restaurant and cafeteria was shining, the crystals in the ceilings was already blinding me when I stepped outside the elevator.

"Wow" I breathed

"Mr.Kim likes exclusive things and he only buys what's best for him..." Jonghyun said after hearing me gasp like I did.

As I came to the food section, it was amazing how much food there was. There was a counter, a cashier where there were only drinks, another counter for the salad buffet and another one with pasta and meat and another one with soup. This was extreme !

"Now this is the staff section. Staff department eats on level 5 while Mr.Kim and his companions, lawyers and so on eats on level 8. But that only happens once in awhile because mostly they are eating on their level, having food delivered there directly from the kitchen" Jonghyun said as he was putting some food onto his plate.

My tray was pretty empty after I had paid. I only took a bottle of water, a bowl of soup and some bread. I had a cup of tea as well.
Jonghyun sat down in the middle of the foodcourt area and there were lots of employees eating at the moment.

"When you work here, it's for your own sake and nobody else. You make a mistake, you pay for it" Jonghyun said

"But Key said that if I make any mistakes, he's the one who's going to pay for it" I said, being a bit confused.

"Don't listen to Key, he's just trying to lecture you" Jonghyun laughed

"Oh" I smiled

As we started to eat Jonghyun started to tell me about the Mirotic office.

"Value the phone with your life and always answer it. Mr.Kim has the number to every employee in the building and just getting a call from him might be really really important" He said

"Why would he even bother to call us? He has his personal assistants doesn't he?" I asked

Jonghyun chuckled

"You might get a promotion..."

"Or?" I asked, sensing that he wasn't finished with the sentence yet

"Or fired" Jonghyun said

"Ouch" I said

"Mr.Kim doesn't blink when he fires people and he never hesitates. Last week, he fired 13 people in one day" Jonghyun said

"Oh dear..." I mumbled

"So I am a bit curious... How did you end up here?" Jonghyun asked

"What do you mean...?" I asked slowly

"Well.. how did you... end up here..." Jonghyun started.

I started to sense that he was referring to my clothes because he was looking at them from the corner of his eye and I sighed.

"I have no sense of fashion, don't know how to use my make-up and I look like a loner, Okay I know but this fancy guy in a tuxedo just came over when I was writing in the library and suddenly, asks me if I have a job, if I'm good with computers and so on and woops, I had this card" I said and showed him the card.

"That's... odd.. like really odd..." Jonghyun mumbled

"Why is it odd?" I asked

"Xiah would never ... do such a thing. Find a random girl from nowhere and just give out the card. Or maybe... he did..." Jonghyun asked

"Xiah.. wait, I recognize that name"

"One of Mr.Kim's crew members" He said

"Why aren't you calling him Mr.... whatever his last name was"

"Because his last name is also Kim but he said he didn't mind us calling him Xiah ... or Junsu"

"Why do I get the feeling that he seems to be a bit more different?"

"Different? How?"

"I don't know, he's the only one who we are able to call by his first name" I shrugged

"Oh... Junsu is just... kind. He's really nice and he's really talkative and he loves to joke around. But when he has to be serious, he's really really serious" Jonghyun said

"You've met him?" I asked

"I've worked here for 2 years.. of course I have" Jonghyun laughed

I started to feel stupid for my questions

"Then have you met Mr.Kim then?" I asked

Jonghyun shook his head

"Not really.. I've seen his back but that's all..."

"You've worked here for 2 years and you haven't seen him? Face to face?" I asked a bit surprised

"He's an extremely busy guy, not to mention that he is one hell of an " Jonghyun said

"Okay that was something new. Key was admiring Mr.Kim while you ... well hate him?"

"I don't hate him but according to the rumors that I've heard, it's pretty hard to not hear what Mr.Kim's like" Jonghyun said

"Then... how is he?"

"He's cold as ice and everything that he does is always professionally. He's always strict with rules and his words are like.. sacred as the laws. It's almost... weird. Anyway, I will not lie because I do admire him as well. He's an amazing designer and everything that he creates is amazing. He's always on the top and there's like thousands of people who wants to work with him and only a certain amount of people are able to ... although.. if you can't satisfy him, the deal is off" Jonghyun said

"Wow... he must be really.. successful then" I said

"Oh not only successful.. he is the success. It's crazy, daily we have thousands of calls from around the world and everyone are trying to contact him..."

"Why is he ignoring everyone then?" I asked

"That... Uhm... I don't have an answer for you... we were never told... the reason"

"So... what exactly uhm.. do we do then? If he's doing everything on level 10?"

"You really have no idea what you have gotten yourself into... right?" Jonghyun asked as he started to laugh. I frowned

"I don't know... is it a good thing or a bad... thing?" I asked

"I have no idea Yuna"

"Please answer?" I asked with my angelic voice which caused Jonghyun to laugh even more

"We run errands, we take down notes from level 10. We prepare events, fashion shows, awards and whatever Mr.Kim wants us to do but most importantly, we make sure that everything ALWAYS works. During fashion shows for an example... we have to make sure that the backstage are good, the models have to be prepared, the music, the lights, the seats, make sure that the right guests comes, we invite the national media and every important person inside the fashion industry. We make sure that everything WORKS" Jonghyun said

"Wow... but there are like.. divided in groups... right?" I asked a bit unsure

"Yes but we always get the groups about 1 month before the fashion show which is way to little time for all the preparations that we have to do" Jonghyun sighed

"But why don't they announce the groups earlier?" I asked

"That depends on Mr.Kim and the staff on level 10. We never know when the clothes for a fashion show are done and when he's done, he orders everyone to begin with the preparations... so we just have to adapt ourselves to him" Jonghyun shrugged

"What an " I mumbled

"I was waiting for that word" Jonghyun said and started to laugh

"But it's true. I mean when he should know that... you should help each other.. like a circle you know, we all need each other and to do that we need good co-operations as well as teamwork. This is not team work" I said

"But it's his clothes, his fashion building, his clothing line, his rules" Jonghyun stated

"Sounds like garbage to me" I shrugged

"Well... welcome to Mirotic Yuna"
