~JaeJoong~

I was frustrated, tired and feeling helpless at the moment.
The upcoming fashion show that was going to take place in a month, I had several things to do, invite guests, make sure the lights, staff, models, make-up artists, hairstylists, directors and so on to be there and I've only done half of the list so far. I felt like dying.

Yoochun was busy with finishing the clothes, with the help of Junsu and Changmin.

Yunho was marketing the company.

I seriously was at the verge of dying. But I couldn't blame anyone either. Yuna's accident was unforeseen and no one could tell that it was coming. And I also knew that I would have lots of work to do if I decided to take care of her, so I had no one to blame but myself

I leaned back onto the chair as my thoughts slowly drifted off to Yuna, wondering how she was at the moment. I looked at the clock to see that it would be 3 more hours before I could go home and see her

"Mr.Kim?"

I didn't hear the knock but YeJin soon stepped inside and handed me a folder

"What is it now?"

"The building, where the fashion show are taking place are done. Lightening staff, music staff and also guards has been hired. I am currently looking for the most and the best hair stylists and the make up artists for the show" She said

I looked up, shocked by the sudden work and all things she had accomplished

"When did you do all of this?" I gasped and looked through and started to browse through the folder

"Since you were busy with taking care of that.... girl, I decided to do the work for you. I've been here long enough to know what you need and what you don't need. So I hope I've done at least some stuff and saved some time for you" YeJin smiled proudly

"You've done more than enough YeJin" I said happily and stood up

"Seeing my boss happy makes me happy"

"Oh my... I can't believe it... Uh,.. how can I repay you YeJin?"

She chuckled

"Just your kindness and gratefulness are enough for me" She said embarrassed

I was more than happy, overly excited if you asked me. She made tons of burdens on my shoulder disappear and this also meant that I could see Yuna a bit earlier. Maybe I could finish off everything for today, models would take longer though but that wouldn't be a problem. There's lots of models who would walk for me

"No seriously... You want a bonus? Do you want extra days off or something?" I asked

She looked at me slowly, waiting for something else to come out , out of my moiuth but I remained silent as I waited for her to answer me

"Dinner would be nice" YeJin said shyly

She took me by surprise, dinner? She wants to have dinner with me?

"Dinner?" I asked

She nodded

"As friends.. get to know each other.." She smiled

"So you want to have dinner?"

"It doesn't have to be fancy! I'd love it even if I go to Mc'Donalds with you" She said and turned away

Even though she was trying to hide herself, I saw her face getting red

"Really?" I said and started to laugh

YeJin spun around slowly and started to laugh as well.

"Yes"

"Then dinner it is"

~Yuna~

I got out of the taxi, staring at the huge, white building in front of me, wondering and of course being scared of what was waiting for me inside. I saw several nurses wandering around with patients, pushing them in a wheelchair or just taking a walk with them since it was a tremendous weather outside

I slowly started to walk towards the building, hesitating for each step that I was taking. I was shaking.
I was hoping dearly that JaeJoong wasn't inside right now. I wished that I had been able to read the entire medical report but since JaeJoong had called for me, I failed that task

I came inside and the scents of doctors, medicine and hospital hit me at an instant.
This didn't seem like other hospitals, it was more like a home for sick patients who didn't manage to take care of themselves and needed help from people who were educated in this area.

I walked to the front, to the reception and information desk but there was no one there.
I looked around, waiting for someone to come when I suddenly heard something that caught my attention immediately

"JaeJoong.. Where's JaeJoong.."

I thought I was imagining myself but I followed the voice who was calling for JaeJoong. Maybe there was someone who knew him or maybe it was a nurse who had lost him.. Either way, I had to find that person.

Without waiting for help I ran down the hallway, hurrying as I passed several rooms with patients as JaeJoong's name was wandering around inside of my head

"JaeJoong..."

I stopped by the door which I was about to pass when I suddenly heard the person call out his name

I slowly stepped inside to see an old woman, probaly in her 70's being helped to sit down on her bed.

"JaeJoong is not here Mrs. Kim"

"Who is JaeJoong?" Mrs.Kim said

I gasped as I covered my mouth, feeling the tears burning behind my eyelids as I saw the poor woman looking at the nurse who was helping her at the moment

Just a second ago she was asking about JaeJoong and in the next she forgot about him. This couldn't be his mother right?

"Excuse me Miss? Are you lost?" The kind nurse who was in her mid 30's asked

I looked at the nurse in shock and soon Mrs.Kim turned herself to me

"What a beautiful young girl" Mrs.Kim said happily

Another tear fell as I kept looking at her

"Miss?" The nurse asked again

I sobbed quietly

"Mrs.Kim I'll be right back"

"Is she here to visit me?" Mrs.Kim asked, clueless

"I don't know, let me see about that"

The nurse soon came up to me, kindly showing me the way out of the room as I saw Mrs. Kim spinning around and looking outside the window

"Who are you?" The nurse asked

"I.. Uhm.."

"I know Mrs. Kim doesn't have any more children other than Kim JaeJoong. You're his girlfriend?"

"I am...Uhm..."

"You are?"

"Uhm... Yes.. Girlfriend"

"How wonderful to see you here. I'm Yeon Yi, I'm Mrs. Kim nurse. It's been awhile ever since she got a visit from any friends or relatives. She is going to be thrilled to know that her son's girlfriend is here to see her. This must be your first time visiting her"

"I... uhm... yes..." I stuttered

"But where is JaeJoong?"

"Work..." I said, coughing a bit

"As always.. He's always working, though we keep sending him medical reports about his mother's condition"

I looked at the nurse as I tried to get the control over myself again. I was trying to understand what she was trying to say. Didn't JaeJoong visit his mother?

"Miss, what are you trying to say? Isn't JaeJoong visiting his mother?" I asked

"IT's been almost 2 years since his last visit here.."

"2 years?!" I said shocked. She nodded

"I do understand his feelings, that it must be very hurtful to be around someone you love who cannot even remember you. I guess he's just avoiding it all. But he do make sure that she gets the best treatment as well... and the best medical care"

Suddenly a beeping was heard and I saw that someone was calling for the nurse

"You should go inside and talk to her. She's a very kind lady. I'll be back soon"

The nurse soon left me by myself, standing outside the door as I was looking inside, seeing Mrs.Kim sitting on her bed, looking outside

I gathered the courage and entered the room. Walking silently and soon I sat down on the chair right next to the bed.
I saw pictures of her and JaeJoong allover the room. Pictures of JaeJoong when he had birthday parties, his graduation, his baby years.

Seems like Mrs.Kim didn't want to forget and maybe when she got diagnosed with Alzheimers, she tried her best and put in a lot of effort in order to not forget her son

"You are very beautiful"

I looked into the beautiful eyes that JaeJoong had after his mother and even the smile, the nose was from his mother. So man resemblances

"Thank you so much Mrs.Kim" I whispered, feeling my heart break

"Have you met my son? He's a very handsome young boy"

"Yes I have. He must have gotten his looks from his beautiful mother"

"Oh, please... Do not say that. I think he got it all from his father"

"Where is his father?"

"He passed away a long time ago"

I nodded

"Do you miss JaeJoong?"

Mrs. Kim soon frowned at me and tilted her head to the side

"I'm sorry, who are you talking about?"

I started to cry again, silently as I was looking into her eyes. It was as if I was looking into JaeJoong's. The picture of JaeJoong's sad eyes started to appear and even though I could only imagine what pain he must be going through...I could never put myself in his shoes, feeling the pain he is feeling at the moment...

He was good at not showing it as well....
