48. Sungmin & Kyuhyun
They were in the van waiting for their manager when Kyuhyun read the headlines in various portals, mocking him form the screen of his phone.
"Super Junior Kyuhyun´s girl..."
His expression darkened and the young man gripped his smart-phone harder. Sensing the menacing aura, Sungmin looked up from the lyrics for the upcoming musical, staring at the frowning maknae above his stripe-patterned glasses.
"What´s the matter?"
Kyuhyun exhaled loudly in frustration, pushing the touch-screen in the older man´s face.
"They´re making up stuff again! Just to get attention!"
The blond "Oooh-ed" knowingly as he skimmed the text, frowning at the picture of Seulgi and Kyuhyun put together in that particular context.
"The company will force them to take the article down," he attempted to reassure the younger, but Kyuhyun shook his head dejectedly.
"The news are already reproduced by tens of sites; fanpages and official ones alike. Even if they do take it down, everyone else will have it online..."
His forehead was marked by deep lines as he was thinking. Finally, he started typing after glaring hard at the small screen. Slowly, erasing several times his words before deciding on a answer.
"I wish they didn´t taint our reputation like that, especially for a girl that hasn´t even debuted yet..." he murmured, passing the phone to Sungmin in order to read his tweet explaining himself for the faults of others. The blond nodded in agreement, recalling not a small amount of misleading titles that had forced them to explain themselves for no reason. They were always the ones to sincerely apologise, to beg for the public´s understanding and promise they would work harder in the future. And now, they even dared sully an innocent girl´s image, only basing their absurd remarks on a comment Kyuhyun happened to make during a show.
"That´s media... fighting us with every sneaky trick they have up their sleeves..."
Kyuhyun sighed and published the tweet, annoyed he had to use that mean of communication to make excuses for a situation he hadn´t control over.
Ahh, I was seriously pissed off when the news came out, and even more when I saw ELFs saying mean things about Seulgi just because some reporters distorted Kyuhyun´s words to create notice-worthy headlines! How can you judge a person and call her names when you don´t even know her abilities yet? ...when you know how caring and kind Kyuhyun is to his hoobaes... Why would you hate on a girl without giving her a chance to prove herself first and not think based on a random article? Being a fan doesn´t mean hate on everyone else! Being a fan means love your bias group and respect everyone else´s hard work, until they are proven unworthy for respect... :/
