“So, is this goodbye?” I asked Gaby.

We were now in Incheon International Airport, waiting for Evan and Gaby’s flight that would bring them back to our country. It had been two weeks, time flew...

“No, this isn’t. It’s a see you later,” Gaby said, smiling.

Evan messed my hair, “We’ll see each other real soon, dear.” Then he went to my mum, leaving me and Gaby alone.

“It’s been fun here,” Gaby said. “Damn, I met Super Junior. Ugh Sungmin is so much better looking in real life. And not to mention, you were like, friends to the leader!” Lol, I had not told her that we were not friends anymore. We were more than that. Hahahaha.

I smiled. “Yeah... Anyway, I got something for you.” I grabbed a plastic bag beside me, taking out a certain thing from it.

“Oh, Mr. Simple album? Sungmin on the cover?” Gaby asked as soon as she saw the ‘thing’ I gave her. “Thanks, baby. I already had one though. But still, thank you.”

“Open it,” I instructed.

Gaby did as I said and... “Holy crap! Is this Sungmin’s signature?!?!?! Like, he signed it?! For real?! For me?! Oh fudge! ______! How?!?! Crap, thank you so much!”

Lol, I sort of accidentally met Sungmin yesterday when I accompanied Ye Eun seeing her dad in the office. (I hoped I could see Jung Soo, but too bad I didn’t, huhu.) He was in rush but stopped as soon as he saw me.

The moment I met Sungmin, I automatically remembered Ye Eun and how much she adored the man. I kinda felt like I needed to get her something because she had agreed to shut about me knowing Jung Soo. Sungmin was unsurprisingly excited when I asked him for a signature. He even offered me one of his albums available in the office. Dfjdlfhdjsfhh such a nice guy.

Back to Gaby. She was still busy spazzing over the album. “Oh my, really, thank you so much!”

“Yup, no big deal, babe.”

Evan shouted, “Gab!” Gaby and I went to approach him. “I think we gotta go to the immigration now.”

“See you later, guys,” I weakly said. “Have a safe flight.”

Evan pulled me into a hug and caressed my hair. “I’m coming here on Christmas, how does that sound?”

We let go the hug and Mum said, “How about we going back there on Christmas?”

“Aunty! Are you serious?!” Gaby shouted. “Yes yes! I can’t wait till Christmas! It’s in four months!” She cheered and hugged me.

I smiled before finally sending them off... See you later, Gab...

Car ride with mum was awkward. I was the one who drove and she just kept talking beside me. Dad didn’t go with us because he was busy. No driver too since he was with Dad right now.

“Wow,” Mum said. “I’m sort of amazed. You didn’t beg me to go to with Gaby and Evan.” She chuckled.

I myself was surprised too. To think about it, in the first few days they were here, I kept nagging to Evan to kidnap me and bring me back to our hometown. But now... well, I’d love to go there, but I’d love to stay here more. I got reasons to stay. I got Ye Eun, Krystal, Minho and of course, Jung Soo. I got him now. How could I leave?

“Do you have boyfriend now?” Mum asked out of the blue. Sifdalisjfidsjfliejfij;waefjdjgjfjgfjgfjg NO. THANK GOD I DON’T HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME.

Unlike other normal teenage girls who usually asked for relationship advice from their mothers, I couldn’t do it to Mum. Our relationship was the most awkward relationship ever existed on earth. We didn’t talk much. She had me when she and Dad were very young, around 20 or even younger. The result was, she avoided me. She never really talked to me.

Dad was better. At least he didn’t do that to me. He was busy all the time though. So it didn’t give much difference in the end.

We all lived our own lives, in different worlds. They were with their work life (Dad) and social life (Mum). I was left alone at home with school and friends. Before we moved to Seoul, I had few people I considered as best friends. We had known each other for so long. To them only I shared my happiness and sadness.

“What? No,” I coolly answered Mum. Lol, how could I tell her that yes, I had boyfriend and he was a K-Pop artist and was 28 years old. Omg, she could have heart attack right away.

“I notice that you’ve been going out late at night these days,” Mum said. I gulped down my saliva. She knows, dayum. “I saw you go home with a guy. Around last week. Black car...,” She tried to remember the moment.

Uum, black car... Last week... Did she see me with Minho?

“Oh, he’s a friend of mine.”

“Oh... I so believe in you.”

Nah, Mum didn’t. But I didn’t bother to explain it to her. It’d be better this way. If she was suspicious about who I was dating, let her think that it was Minho. At least Minho was only 20. She must not hear anything about Jung Soo, yet.

Suddenly my phone rang. It was put on the dashboard and before I could reach it, Mum took it first. Excuse me, no, who gave her permission to do that?

“Jung Soo, Park,” she said. WUD, NO. HELL NO. Don’t you dare to receive the call!

“Don’t pick it up, I’ll call him...,” I calmly said. Too late.

Too late. “Hallo, this is ______’s mother. She’s driving now that’s why she can’t pick up your call by herself. Do you have something important to tell her?”

Too late. Too late. Ugh. No. Please, nooooooooooooooooooooo.

Mum suddenly furrowed her eyebrows and split second later, she hung up the call. She weirdly asked me, “Who is he? He hung it up just like that. Rude.”

Oh, oh thank God. Thank God.

I wanted to laugh though. Jung Soo must have been confused by Mum’s English that he got nervous and ended up disconnecting the phone call. Hahaha, I could clearly visualize his facial expression right now!

“Is he the guy I saw with you last week? So his name’s Jung Soo Park?”

I nodded. Lying like a boss. Thank God Mum didn’t pay attention to Korean’s pop groups and the members. Lalalala~ So now Mum knew that Jung Soo Park was Minho of SHINee. Anything to keep the real identity of Jung Soo safe. “He doesn’t speak English. Probably he got confused and ended the phone call.”

“Oh...” Mum continued, “So he’s not guy from school? Where did you meet him?”

Duh. DUH. She kept asking me stuff. “Mum, I’m driving. Your questions distract me.”

Mum then shut . The rest of the car ride was awkward and silent. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all though. It was always like this with her. It was always either awkward, or annoying.

As soon as I could be alone in my room, I dialed Jung Soo’s phone number.

“Hi, Leeteuk-ssi.” I laid my body on the bed.

“______-ah!” Jung Soo exclaimed. “Omo, were you with your mother? I’m sorry I hung up her call. I got so panicked when she talked in English!” See? Like what I had guessed before... Haha.

“Nah, it’s okay,” I said. “So what were you calling me for before, Leeteuk-ssi?”

I heard Jung Soo shyly giggling. His giggle is the cutest sound ever. “I miss you,” he shortly answered. Haha, seriously, is he 28 years old for real?

“I miss you too!” I shouted. “Are you busy today?”

“Aaargh,” Jung Soo groaned. “Sadly yes. Music Bank... and some other stuff.” He sounded gloomy...

“What happened, Leeteuk-ssi?” I worriedly asked him.

“Uum, I don’t think we can talk about it on the phone,” Jung Soo said, even gloomier. He continued, “It’s about Heechul...” Heechul? “He insists to leave to the military without telling the public.”

I gulped down my saliva. Darn, not the military topic again.  I seriously didn’t know what to do every time this thing came up in our conversation. Because it always made Jung Soo sad, very sad, and I was almost clueless how to cheer him up. It hurt just to see him sad.

“Really?” I stupidly asked. “Well, if that’s his decision...”

“But he can’t do that, ______-ah! A lot of people will feel disappointed!” Jung Soo cried in frustration. Darn, darn, here we go again... The up and down mood of Super Junior Leeteuk.

Stay sane and continue this conversation with a rational mind. “He must have reasons for doing that, Leeteuk-ssi. You can’t force him. He’s a mature man.”

“You don’t understand,” Jung Soo sighed. Yeah, I don’t. At all. I start to feel frustrated and sad because I don’t understand his condition and position. I’m so powerless. “I’m the leader. I should keep things as stable as possible.”

He should do this, he should do that. He should keep everyone happy, he should keep everyone unharmed... Does he really have to do it all?  “Hhh, I wish we could see each other tonight.” Cuz I want to give him a hug, a warm one. We should see each other. “You were right, we can’t talk about such thing on the phone.”

“I’m not free until midnight,” Jung Soo said. I was going to say that I could see him after midnight because tomorrow was Saturday and I could manage to sneak outside when he continued, “No, you’re not going outside tonight. Just get some rest.”

I pouted. “I thought you said we had lot of things to talk about.”

“I did?”

“Uum,” I muttered. “You did, that night when we last met.” Any reasons just to be able to see Jung Soo  tonight. I miss him :(

“Well, you just reminded me of what I wanted to say. And there are so many of them. But that doesn’t mean you can go out so late just to talk to me,” Jung Soo said. I heard much tiredness in his voice. I checked out the clock, it was only noon... I wished he could share some of it with me, share the weight on his shoulder.

“Leeteuk-ssi,” I called my boyfriend. “What is it? The things you want to say?”

Jung Soo sighed. “Us. We gotta talk about us.”

What? “Us? Oh... I don’t really get it.”

“______-ah, it’s not going to be easy, okay... I just want to be honest to you since the start. We can love each other unconditionally and with all our heart, we can plan everything perfectly, we can beg God to keep us like this forever, but I have a feeling that it’s not gonna be easy.”

“It has not been easy since the beginning, Leeteuk-ssi...”

Jung Soo chuckled. “Right. We’ve never been easy on each other since the beginning, haha. ______-ah, oppa will call you later okay? They’re calling for oppa right now, need to start another filming again.”

What could I say besides... “Yes. Hope to see you soon, Leeteuk-ssi. Fighting!”

“Hahaha, ‘fighting’? It doesn’t match you well, ______-ah.”

Haha -_- He understands me so much.
