Work in Korea
In love with Miss Imposter
"Jooyeon Eonni! I have great news!" her secretary came running in.
Jooyeon looked up from her painting and smiled. "What's up Minjung?"
"You've gotten a multi billion won project to paint the entire restaurant's mural! MULTI BILLION WON!" MinJung hyperventilated.
Jooyeon's eyes widened. "Really? But I haven't painted a restaurant before."
Minding shrugged. "I trust your ability Jooyeon Eonni. And anyway the restaurant is mexCHEEKCAN CHEEKCAN which is a highly popular place for the rich who loves chicken. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun painting the mural! And it'll act as a form of advertisement for your works amongst the rich as well!"
Jooyeon chuckled. "You think really far Minjung! Alright I'll take this job. But where's this mexCHEEKCAN CHEEKCAN? why haven't I heard of it before?"
Minjung giggled. "Eonni! It's in Korea! You'll have to fly back to Korea to get it done!"
"Korea?" Jooyeon echoed, almost feeling her heart stop.
*Korea.. That's where Taemin Oppa and Sulli Eonni are. What if I meet both of them while I'm there?* Jooyeon bit her lip and furrowed her eyebrows.
"I'll think about it for a while Minjung ah." Jooyeon decided. "I'll discuss with Jiyong Oppa before anything happens."
"Oh alright." Minjung nodded. "But personally I hope you'll go! I heard the owner of the restaurant is really good looking!"
Jooyeon chuckled.
When Minjung left, Jooyeon put her paint brush down and sighed.
Should she go back?
Korea is where all her friends and past are.
And it is also where she left her heart.
What if she meets Taemin and Sulli? Will she be able to bear the pain of seeing both of them together and possibly with their kids?
After thinking about him for 3 years but breaking all connections and having no clue about his life, is she ready to meet him?
"Maybe I won't even see him." Jooyeon muttered. "Maybe he won't even recognize me if I walk past him."
*Knock knock*
"Come in."
"Mr Lee, the letter of acknowledgement is here." the secretary said. "The advertisement team has already selected the artist and all that is left is your signature and her approval."
"Really?" Onew asked and took the document over.
He turned over to page one and was about to read when his phone rang.
OH OH OH OPPA REUN SARANG HAE
AH AH AH AH MANHI MANHI HAE
"Yeomseyo?"
"SULLI AH!" Onew's eyes lit up. "Why did you call me suddenly? I was the one who called you normally!"
"I.. I just wanted to ask you to .. You know." Sulli hesitated. "Be my partner for the university ball. Taemin Oppa doesn't want to so there aren't any guys left that I know."
"I'LL GO WITH YOU!" Onew jumped up.
Noticing his secretary still there, Onew signed the document in a hurry without even reading the contents.
"I promise i won't let you down and be the handsomest male accompaniment of the night!" Onew exclaimed, his eyes shining.
Sulli giggled silently.
This chicken boy was seriously making his way onto her heart.
"Okay then it's settled." Sulli pretended to remain cold and distant. "You'll come with me to the uni ball."
Onew smiled widely. When he got off the call, he jumped up and punched the air.
"YES!" he cheered.
That day chicken boy was too engrossed with his rich princess to notice what he was signing.
Being the CEO of the restaurant, he didn't even know who was the artist they were engaging.
But it didn't matter to him, since his princess seemed to have accepted him a little.
On the other hand, the girl debated whether or not to go back. To the place where she left her heart
She didn't know that the boss of the restaurant was actually chicken boy.
If she had known, she would never have agreed.
Is this fate?
Will the girl and boy finally meet again, with so many misunderstandings strewn between them?
